Should I compliment existing personality or balance?

Hi All,

I’ve been reading a bunch of posts on Instant Sexiness A and B. I placed an order for ISB, but now am not so sure…

I have a very strong personality particularly at work. I’m much more of an “Angelina Jolie” than “Marilyn Monroe” to quote a previous post. But I can also be very introverted with people I don’t know, somewhat shy and reserved even.

However, many men have a hard time with my strength. I’ve been told that I’m “intimidating” a “tough act to follow”, etc. I also work for a Japanese company and I know my forcefulness often puts my bosses off a bit.

I originally thought that IS mix B might help temper this a bit, and help people see more than Type A woman. When I get to really know someone, they usually say things like “you’re way different than I thought you were”, and I thought B might help that softer side come across faster.

But other posts talk about negative results when you where pheromones that are not inline with your personality. Do they make any schizophrenic pheromones?

Nope no schizophrenic episodes here

I am a type A myself and I did buy a bottle of Instant sexiness A and B. I like the A better. The B works but it makes me feel ditzey which I am not used to. I still use my B bottle but I spray it to my back away from my face so I dont get that effect on myself. I also temper it by spraying on some TAL.

I’ve used A more than B simply because that’s what I initially ordered, but I think B works better for me. I think if people find you hard to approach, hard to get to know, intimidating, tough act to follow - and you would like them to appreciate your softer warmer side - you’re right to go with B.

If you’re a type A personality but if you have enough warmth, humor and extraversion to rock IS-A, then that’s the one for you. Over time I’ve seen personalities emerge here on the forum and it seems to me that those of us who prefer B tend to be the type that men somehow find less approachable, possibly even a little forbidding! B helps soften and sweeten that image; it feels more relaxing to me than A so I’m a little less inclined to kick ass in a MEAN way .

Yes.

These days I tend more towards “complement,” except for those times I chose “balance.”

With familiarity comes the perception of what these molecules do for you. I’ll bet that after you gain more familiarity you’ll find use for both possibilities.

Actually I have been thinking about it a lot lately. Thanks for posting this! I hope we get more answers from people who have already figured it out.

I am leaning towards enhancing existing personality rather than balancing because to me balancing exists only when you think something is ideal so you could then add to your current signature to reach the ideal person signature. But ideal is such a subjective thing!

Six months back I was leaning towards balancing and I was dead sure that there is an ideal pheromone signature out there, so that everyone could just supplement with the right missing pheromones and ratios to make them reach the ideal signature. Now, I am not so sure!

Thanks for the replies. I will probably also purchase the IS A and do some tests.

For me, it’s really been bothering me lately that so many people (men especially) say that they find me intimidating. Once they get to know me, they are usually suprised at my “softer side” - but particularly with the large number of Japanese executives I work with coming across too forcefully is not good.

So I’m going to first try the “balance” with the IS / B - and see if this has a positive affect to me. It could be so out of wack with my natural personality that it might work - but I’ll have to see.

Just received my first order… taking all my willpower not to rip open the package at work and experiment

Geez, that’s a great question. I think about this one often, and the answer is yes. Both. Depending on whatever you want at the time, like a menu at a restaurant. Sometimes you want more of the same, sometimes you want something new.

I have to tell you that initially I ordered Isexi B to balance my already strong personality, but found A to work very, very well by complimenting it. In fact, when I wear Isexi A or Mx134, I feel very much on top of the world and in control, and I think the world wants me to be there , at least that’s what I feel when I wear it ).

I am not going to be the one tooting the congruency horn here. I say, whatever you want at the moment and situation, you can find a product to fit your need.

The important thing is to KNOW HOW EACH PRODUCT AFFECTS YOU AND PEOPLE AROUND YOU, and that you have to do lots of experimenting and playing the pheromonal scales, so to speak, before you really can orchestrate your symphony.

Well, I am much like Tisha…I do occassionally wear TAH mixes like Instant Sexiness B ot MX135, and I even have a bottle of straight TAH. BUT, I also feel ditzy and a bit out of my element if I wear them near my face. Back of the head for me…but, still serves a purpose, when a softer touch is called for. Just like the situation you are in with the Japanese co-workers.

I have a strong personality, and I feel “better” when I wear TAL based mixes…you’ll soon figure out which is best for you, and in which situations. What is good for work-wear may be different than what you would wear for social settings.

Have fun!

I’ve noticed Japanese culture is very paternalistic/male dominated. Chauvanistic. Difficult for women to “fit in” especially if they don’t fit the expected mold.

I’d certainly consult with Jasmin for her opinions. And you might want to consider To Go’s of both mixes and carefully experiment. Most of the discussion I’ve seen here is concerning pheromone effects on asian women (men trying to affect asian females). Might be interesting to see about asian men. Gegogi may have some insights, although I think you are going to be fighting both genetics AND cultural differences here.

Also a thought about “balance.” I’m not sure I want to to be too “balanced.” I start thinking then I’d just be like everybody else. It may not be bad to have times when I am “balanced,” but then again I think there are times one needs to be “un-balanced” to prevent boredom and a feeling of “sameness.” Keeps em guessing. Keeps things interesting.

Just some thoughts.

Thanks All.

Interestingly, I tried Instant Sexiness A also and it was somewhat disastrous at work. It had my on fire for sure, my Type A strong personality was humming and I felt on top of the world.

However, my employees were big time uncomfortable with me, a couple of fierce fights, Alpha Males clashing with the Alpha Female.

I’ve gone back to the B mix and both myself and my team are much, much happier. A was fun, and I felt unstoppable - but it was not a good mix with my crew

Well at least you know which one works best for work now.

Have you tried IS/A in a non work enviroment to see what kind of reactions you get with it ?

Tisha

Sadly, what little non-work time I get has been after hours at the bar with my same “work family”. So I haven’t had a chance to try this in a more open setting.
