Thank you, sweety poo!
As you know I had an interview for a much much better job yesterday, wore the exact same phero combo (A314, 1 drop!, p91, p74, IH and cops blend) as I did with the timeshare marketing rep job.
Besides the error in calculations on one problem, and the hopefully unnoticed grammar faux pas in my thank you letters (I sent the same one to all 4 panel members, hopefully they won’t compare emails, but so what if they do, right?).
The test was timed, 30 minutes only, and the two problems were scenarios where you had to complete certain tasks within the time given.
Being entry-level, I’m suspecting they really wanted to see how the potential hirees would approach and tackle the problems/situations, even if we didn’t get them exactly right, of course they will teach me/us. Just to see how our minds worked.
I also didn’t completely finish the second problem given the limited time frame, though I had already completed my calculations, shown my work, and was almost finished with the last part of it, which was writing a letter explaining the difference in tax classes, costs and the benefits of one over the other.
I also heard that I was not the only one who was unable to finish in the time given. Hopefully those who did compete both tasks within the 30 minutes rushed through theirs and screwed up the calculation part, lol. And didn’t realize it, as I did. Isn’t that nice of me, lol?
So wish me luck, cross your fingers, toes and eyes for me, put it out to the universe as I’m doing, and imagine me being really in that job.
Though I wonder what kinds of clothes I would have to/be allowed to wear for this, since it’s partly out assessing land and houses, and partly in the office. All I seem to have at the moment are lots of hospital scrubs, jeans and tank tops, and party/clubbing clothes, lol. If they allow decent jeans and decent cotton tops/blouses, I should be okay. I hope I won’t have to wear “office lady” clothes, lol.
I must imagine myself already in that job, know that I have it, expect 100% that I will get an email or letter officially offering me the position. Maybe I’ll look through my closet and figure out what I’ll wear for my first day at work, and lay it out, all ready for working there, I’ve heard that works. I do have a few business casual things that should work until I figure out what’s acceptable and what’s not. They will want me to start on June 1st.
