I just realized one of the things I wanted with mones, but was unable to visualize till now. The daily mix of mones for most users seems to change from day to day and is complex as well, usually involving at least three products. I know what I’d love to have is a little spray bottle, like lipstick size, that I could mix up the day’s batch in. My days can be very long (15 hours) and carrying around 5-10 bottles all day to reapply is not practical (5 products is my usual minimum mix). Ahh well, I guess I can still dream.
Would you want mones sold like that to you, or would you just want a spray bottle like that offered to you so you could make your own mixes in such a format?
This post was just covering bottles, so one could make up a daily mix and bring it along with them to reapply during the day. I posted long ago about having smaller sizes available so we could put together a newbie package or some samples or something, but you said it wasn’t practical since the spray head would be different and hence the dosaing would be off for the lines (Instant, Experimones, etc.).
Right, the dosing and diffusion properties would indeed be off if I were to make miniatures. I’d be uncomfortable using the same exact product names on a smaller product, since the smaller product wouldn’t work the same.
“Instant Openness” might end up being something more like “A Little More Openness” if offered in miniature form without some significant retooling 
However, I’m not against selling miniature products under different names, or miniatures with modified names.
A “Turn Up The Heat To Go”, for instance, I think could be VERY VERY useful – a little bit of -none you could keep in your pocket, and then add during a brief visit to the bathroom in the middle of a date. Covert, and effective.
In the ad copy, I could be VERY clear that it’s not as diffusive and perhaps not as effective as normal size A314, but the portability gives an edge in application timing which can be just killer.
Before that happens, though, I could offer empty miniature spray bottle themselves, that you could fill on your own.
I’m very guarded when it comes accurately and honestly naming products after actual effects, and making those products as effective as possible. When it comes to offering you tools to roll your own products, however, I’m very open to offering whatever tools you’d like.
If you want little spray bottles for your own mixes, I’ll source some straight away.
I’m not sure how others would feel, but I think a spray bottle of only a few ml would be best. I did a quick search and found a mini sprayer that holds 2ml. It’s plastic though and pretty ugly, not something I think you’d want to sell here. Anyway, I was thinking like 2-4 ml so by the end of the day it’s depleted and we don’t end up with dozens of bottles of leftovers.
Beyond ugliness, there’s definitely an issue with most miniature spray bottles I’ve tested.
However, that doesn’t mean there’s isn’t a good one out there… somewhere.

So you would want empties to create your own mixes, more than you’d rather we recreated our current line in miniature?
Yeah, I’d just want the empties. Even if you recreate the line in miniature, that’s still 5-10 bottles I have to carry around, only now they’re tiny and I’ll lose them.
I’m all for both.
Having a GOOD empty spray bottle or atomizer available that would suit Androtics products. Although I can undestand wanting more than one as I do apply some products in different areas (ie like IFM goes away from my nose). But even carrying 2 small bottles as opposed to the large bottles would be a vast improvement. Or for traveling. I’m off to a convention this weekend and I’m trying to figure out where I’m going to be able to squeeze all those full-sized bottles I want to take.
And having small “samplers” would be good too.
Or create a whole new line and call them “MiniMones” (with apologies to Dr. Evil…). Perhaps stick to “combo” products like Ammunition at first. (Maybe you’d have to call it “PeaShooter,” or “Spitwad,” or something…).

It may be longer than I’d prefer – I’m serious when I say that most miniature delivery options I’ve seen have been less than optimal. The cosmetics industry doesn’t seem to do miniatures very well yet.
The best mini-sprays I’ve seen so far are glass, but they’re clear not as tough as what you’ve probably seen from miniature droppers. Is something like that OK?
“Good” being the tough part, but I’ll definitely give it a go.
I think you should always seperate the -none component, too. It’s just a very good idea, since it has completely different diffusion (and buildup) characteristics than almost every other pheromone.
So you should have your “all around mix”, your none mix, and your IFM or other “keep it away from own nose” mix.
Again, they wouldn’t work the same, so I wouldn’t use a use a sampler. I’d have to use a different name to telegraph the fact that the little ones work differently.
The big benefit to small is portability, and along with that comes TIMING. Sometimes timing can be your trump card when it comes to pheromone application.
Heh… Now that’s a great idea, and I don’t actually think I ever came up with that particular name during my overly comprehensive brainstorming sessions.

Okay by me, for a small consideration of course… Lifetime supply of product? Hey, I’ve only got about 20 years left so shouldn’t be too bad a deal. (And I’m really not THAT greedy.)

i use a small spray bottle i got from target. it cost about a dollar, you can get the spray from the traveling section. they had smaller hairsray bottle, perhaps you could empty it out and clean it with alky.
i dont usually change the bottle every day, usually every week with small amounts of different stuff. right now i have IS and IO in it.
I’ve seen the Target bottles (love scanning the travel size stuff section myself. Got some Axe there cheap to play with), but wondered about their reliability and consistency of spary. How is it doing?
Had a weekend with the ex and almost got caught with all my bottles out. Just got done with a shower and was applying when she knocked and wanted to come in. I waspretty nervous she would hear the glass knocking together as I stuffed them back in my bag and I didn’t have a good reason for not letting her in right away either (she’s my ex, but we are still physical and things are on their way to us getting back together). Well, I’m definitely going to go buy some of those Target bottles until MHarris can find a good quality set, I’m not letting that happen again.
so far so good. clean it out with alcohol of course, and let it dry. it can last up to 2 weeks or so, then the fragrance part of the mones starts to wear off. i kept it in the bottle for a little over 3 wks and the stuff started to smell like 409 orange flavor lol. wieerd.
