did dabble in all sorts of interesting substances many years ago, beginning pheromone substances included.
Wanted to see where things stand after all these years so went ahead and ordered some items to experiment.
Thus far, A324 while having the desired effect, is impossible to mask. I can smell it at arm’s length, even covered with cologne after 6 hours, with one drop spread over both wrists. Given, I have an extremely sensitive nose, but this stuff is pungent! I’d hate to think what 3-5 drops would smell like, I’d have to hide from myself
instant openness is subtler, though still impossible to fully mask, and the combo with A324 is completely useless to try to mask. How do people wear 3-5 drops A324 and 3 sprays of IO/IH and not have people turn up their noses?
Anyhow, gotta find some way to mask this (possible I am the only one that sensitive smell-wise, but unlikely ). So any suggestions?
Welcome to the forum, fracture! What have you tried using to mask it? The problem may just be that the cologne you’re using doesn’t blend well with the A314 and so doesn’t mask it or take the scent edge off. How old are you, by the way? I remember reading reports about how some older men were extremely sensitive to the smell of A314. Maybe you’re one of them? What do you intend to use Androtics pheros for, by the way? You mentioned only social pheromones, so are you using them at work? You must have a very gifted nose. Lucky.

As with fragrances, smells always stronger on the person wearing it. I use my A314 with my Brut and it goes real well. Get a fragrance that synches with its qualities. The musky smell (for me) goes away after the 1st hour.

Looks like you’ve got 2 great products to start your newest phero journey with. I know A314 is a forum favorite. What other stuff have you tried in the past? Is more respectability all that you are after, or is there some other aspect in your life that you are wanting to try pheros on?

well, the youthful experiments were with pheros made by a friend at the college lab (-nones alpha/beta as well as a few derivatives I do not remember). That was over 20 years ago and was really just to test things, but was fun to see effects on people.
Now, at 44 I try A314 and the pungency just about blew me away (still smell 1/2 drop per wrist after 8 hours! ). I guess the old friend used some essential oil to mask the musk as I do not recall ever smelling this particular (or even close) musky smell. I also find that it conflicts with IS/Instant Honesty smell too much. Or maybe the A314 just is so strong to my nose that I can’t reconcile it with the mellow IS/IH…
As for purpose. more to see what it does for someone hurt badly and not the easiest to just chat someone up… The respect thing is just a test, I can command respect just fine, it is actually more to see what it does to the alpha males that I keep running into (or at least they want to be Alphas) and see what one particularly high nosed woman makes of it mean, I know, but it’s just for fun…
Me, as I said 44, though most folks peg me for 35ish. Divorced and happily so given what that put me through Decent social life, into Music/graphic arts/dabbling in photography at times… Living in central Europe btw…
Anyhow, I have a preference for very specific cologne/aftershave, can’t stand Brut or anything that in my face so guess I go looking for something that meshes. Should be interesting to walk into a perfume store and ask the lady at the counter to smell my A314 wrist and ask her what scent will go with that? hehehe, good experiment that!
My you must have a sensitive nose because most people have no problem with covering the smell. Even if you can usually your the only one who notices because your conscious of them and this is what makes them so hard for you to mask. One tip, apply them then wait 15 minutes before you cover. This prevents bleed through.
I suggest you try something citrusy to cover them, This will also mesh well with any other product you use that has the neroli cover scent already.
I have worn some of the most rancid smelling mones in the world. I am not kidding, Industrial strength copulins have to be mixed outdoors and when your mixing with them you need to wear goggles and gloves. I leave them in the shed because you can smell them even when in a airtight container. I can cover them, but I can always smell them there. Has anyone else commented on the smell ?
There is only so much you can do to cover without destroying them so you may have to get used to the stink.

I did wait 15 minutes (holding my nose basically) before covering it with an earthy cologne (my fave and the smells should get along) but the A324 just won the ‘smell me’ competition. Btw. I could still smell it this morning after a shower last night o_O.
Will experiment some more, but first concentrate on the social mones to see what sort of effect that may have…
I do have a seriously sensitive nose (can for example smell the tiniest amount of cork in a bottle of wine, which even some sommeliers have trouble detecting, or pick up the scent of a woman from across the room). That has advantages (can smell subtle differences in wines for example from vintage to vintage), but as this shows can be equally as well be a curse Let’s hope the fact that no one else has commented on the smell means that I am the only one detecting it! :o
