SteveO put the S back into Sexi...

This is the sort of openness and communication that I can get behind.
Thank you for making a public statement.

Thank you. I appreciate that, Future.

On the upside, while Steve, Mickaelia and Tisha were running the front end of the show (THANK YOU, guys!), we had more time to do the necessary things we had to do in the background. It freed us up to make drastic changes to certain processes and equipment, make some staff changes (Amy is some kind of amazing renaissance woman!), start some new projects (we have -3- people working on totally different approaches to actual HUMAN copulins now – one perfumer, one person culturing REAL copulins, and another using some very advanced air based analysis). Beyond our equipment upgrades, we’ve also researched even higher grade equipment used by Sandoz and SmithGlaxoKline (still can’t quite afford some of it yet; like the revolutionary new powdered dosing system from Met, wow! That thing’s amazing, and would help catapult our custom process tremendously!)

We’ve also established a second lab, in an area with FAR greater potential to staff with the research PhDs we’ve always wanted to keep close by. We’ve always had smart folks working with us on projects from afar, but since we left our original location in Florida, we just weren’t finding the quality of hire we needed to progress. Now we can. (our Florida location wasn’t exactly rife with PhDs, but people there had a dedication to their jobs we did NOT tend to see in LA)

There’s also a lot of other great things in the background. The new economy has made me worry about any kind of Ammo launch at the moment, but that’s not to say we won’t launch something. I’m just trying to be more careful here. And when we do launch, we’ll start more heavily subsidizing the experimental products for reporters here. Heck, if I can make the stuff nearly free for people who give us feedback – subsidized by the profits of a true consumer launch – I will. I think that’s a good goal to work towards, especially as a thank you to those of you who’ve helped us really progress this technology over the years.

It’s a lot of fun making breakthroughs here. It was especially interesting to see what we sort of stumbled on with MX292 and the new Raw Power experiments. Long ago, we never quite thought we’d be able to make something quite like that.

If we keep making discoveries like this, soon enough those Axe commercials will be more true than not. (which is whole 'nother pile of worms I’ve been trying to research away, btw; introducing products to the truly MASS market (the market far bigger than you guys – you guys do something most people don’t these days: you read!) that actually work well in the US tends to invite ambulance chasers. This is the worst country in the world to sell new innovations. Just look up the old stories about the Segway on WSJ.com and how nobody wanted to support it since they didn’t want to lose their money to potential litigation. Ew!)

Anyway… I’m sorry about this, and confused as to how all this spiraled out of control, really… but I’ll end here by saying I love you folks… I love that you’re helping to create something new in the world… a “nascent technology” … you know, whatever those revolutionaries over at conferences like TED tend to call it.

It’s all an amazing thing, really. I love that we’ve been able to re-animate Edison to some extent here (minus the tiffle we had with Tesla; man, what I wouldn’t have given to have Tesla on my team!), but this time in a distributed way – with each one of you taking on that spirit of innovation and R&D.

I truly love what we’ve been able to achieve so far. Some of these molecules can really help a lot of people (can you imagine being friendless in a new city ever again, with what powers Instant Honesty? I don’t think so)

I’m also REALLY excited at the prospect of an actual consumer launch which will enable to take on a team of in-house scientists to bring things even further.

Ahhhhh! I was starting to get depressed before reading all of the comments earlier, but now – focusing on some of the actual good we were able to do, which reminds me of why we’re into this in the first place – I’m suddenly intensely excited again! Reminds me of that hippy phrase “It’s all Good”. Heh.

Hail pheroGod!

Woohoo, I reckon we might have cracked it.

Communication is the key, both ways, in ANY relationship

Now, I want IFM back :stuck_out_tongue::wink:

Oh, and reps, just for having the balls to face Tigerlilly!!!

Company-Customer Pact Wiki / FrontPage

I ran across this site some months ago. For those who haven’t seen it Michael Harris is signatory #455. It’s one of those very easy things to endorse, while being…cough “less easy” to implement and live. Time pressures, economic pressures, customer pressures, employee pressures have a way of pushing mere noble sentiments to the side.

Thanks for trying to live up to it!

I’m gonna take this opportunity to set the record straight. There has been some misinformation that has been going around and I feel the need to get it off my chest.

When I posted about putting the “S” back into Sexy it was never my intention to mislead anyone into believing there were copulins. It was exactly as it sounds: humor . I don’t remember the time it was when I posted but it was close to the end of the day. Someone I care about asked me about using Instant Sexiness B, and I was so happy that she was interested in my work. After all, I love what I do!

Tish and I catch up and talk shop on the phone every few days. We talk about EVERYTHING, from the latest hit reports, my girlfriend, and even PUA stuff. We’ve been talking about copulins a LOT. At least every conversation the subject comes up. Every single call she says… “I need something to recommend to them, since we have no cops!”)

Just like at Saks Fifth Avenue and other great department stores, I reluctantly always say “just tell them to go to love-scent if they REALLY want copulins”. Thats just the right thing to do since i just want to get people what they want. Im not an expert on womens products so I dont have the best recommendations for them… Tisha was a blessing for me because I believed I could trust her to steer people right.

I don’t know what happened, but somehow, I think two conversations got merged into one and we miscommunicated something somewhere. An announcement such as putting copulins into a product that I didn’t even know they contained would have been HUGE. Tisha is one of my best friends here and I would never mislead her. I think we both misunderstood what we were talking about and for that I am sorry.

When I came back later I saw some members had mistakenly thought what I wrote was about copulins. I immediately posted that it was not and joked about that’s how rumors got started. Whenever I have a major announcement – and I am sure you would all agree, copulins would be a MAJOR announcement – it would be in the store section and a few other places with ALL revealing information. So for anyone that took my humor and fun-loving post as anything other than it was, I am truly sorry you misunderstood me as it was not my honest intention.

Another key thing I need to say, guys, is that I do NOT have access to the formulary! (and all of who have spoken on the phone with me can attest to,) When people ask what’s in the formulas I always say while on the phone, usually with my big laugh that it would kill the fun for me if I knew. Then of course I go into how you should always start out with a clean slate when researching molecules.

Again it appears that many of you misunderstood what I meant and for that I do apologize. My intentions were simply to post about my girlfriend using Isexi B in the women’s section where it belongs.

This has really been pulling on my heart strings and like I feel just awful that this has gone such a twisted direction. I haven’t slept in nearly two days and I’ve been just sick with angst. This has caused me to be away from the forum over the last couple of days. I needed my time to relax, get back into vibrational harmony and ensure I wouldn’t post anything that I would later regret. I hope you understand my reasoning.

Dear Katie,

We are friends.

Friends doing business together.

If anything changes it will simply be that we are friends not doing business together.

Now at first glance it appears that this whole dust up is about about honesty and credibility and trust and censorship and openess and expectations and fulfillment and disappointments.

While all of these ideas and principles and emotions and perceptions swirl around us, they are magnified and energized by the chorus of powerful personalities that you and I stand among. You know by now that these are not ordinary people. Extraordinary intelligence and a sophisticated understanding of human behavior are the hallmarks of many in our community. When so many of these alpha personalities come together it is inevitable that we would have disagreements.

It’s not surpising that many our folks might find our disagreements disturbing. It would help all of us to come to a greater understanding and to make peace amongst ourselves if we could somehow find a way past, a way through, this swirling malestrom of emotions and personalities to find/remember the real underlieing issues.

This is not about who said what, when. This is not about who should leave or stay. In fact, it’s not at all about any one person or group of people. And as important as some people may think it is, this is not about communication. This is about results. This is about the ability to deliver the goods. This is about the acomplishment of goals. This is about the management of projects to sucessful completion. Or not.

At this point there are three stated strategic projects that are essential to the survival and growth of our beloved Androtics.

  1. commercial Ammo

  2. copulins

  3. forum split

Let’s address the last first. It is entirely understandable that the forum split would take a much lower priority, and therefore be dependent on, the sucessful progress of the commercial Ammo launch and the development of a dependable copulin supply. Nevertheless, the split into public and private forum is important, and indeed vital, if this forum is to fulfill it’s function as a beta test ground. There is a tremendous, and ever increasing, amount of energy put into convincing neophytes that these are not magic potions. Tisha and Steve are the bulwarks in our defense against this increasing flood. Without either of them, as long as the forum remains public our function as beta testers is seriously impaired. The result is that without the forum split, Androtics product development becomes increasingly more impaired.

The commercial Ammo launch is nessacarily, far and away, the highest priority. The project has been in the works for years. What is now becoming many years. With no outward sign of progress. Granted there is probably a daily concerted effort going on behind the corporate wall. This was widely discussed here in the forum with the implication being that it was a matter of months. It has since gone quiet for many months now. It seems that this project, which is imperative to the survival of Androtics as we know it, has stalled.

Copulins are one of the essential core products in the pheomone industry. The idea that Androtics is ‘not a copulin company’ is completely bogus. If you are going to be in the pheromone business, you must have a consistent, reliable supply of copulins. The rest of the industry does have some form of copulins. Androtics for years had a steady supply of a reasonably effective copulin product. The desire for the highest possible quality of product is certainly laudable. But it an inescapable demand of the marketplace that some fuctional version of the essential core products be continuously supplied according market demand. That is, if there is an intention to be, or to remain, a force in the marketplace.

The idea that our women are now, and have been for so very long now, expected to do without their most essential product is absurd, bizzare, and completely unacceptable.

This will be my first attempt at an edict of sorts.

It’ll be a little tongue in cheek to try to move things in a more light hearted direction.

I’ll start with…

Steve

Anyone here hate Steve? Or even mildly dislike him?

Please call and TALK to Steve. (800-671-6464)

He might not as psychotically anal retentive as me, and he might not harmonize as well with women as someone like Jasmin or Tisha does, but he’s actually a good soul to most folks. Most people who know him know him as a people lover. If you call and talk to him, you can put his voice – and his INTENT – to his words.

I’m not guaranteeing you’ll like or love him afterwards, but who knows?

I think forum rage is very similar to road rage. Studies show it all boils down to not being able to see the other driver. Same thing here. You can’t really SEE who he is, much like he can’t SEE (or hear, rather) who you are, if you don’t call up and have a chat some time.

More reality, in some cases, is a good thing. Not everyone is Ernest Hemingway, Kurt Vonnegut or even Douglas Adams when it comes to the written word. Writing can be tough, especially in this day and age where we do so much of it, yet few of us online have really mastered it some like actual writers have. Maybe that’s why they’re famous for writing, and we’re not. (well, most of us aren’t)

I’d say if this young man repulses in any way, just suck it up and give him a ring. He doesn’t bite. In fact, (he’s going to kill me for this), but he’s sort of like a Leprechaun. You know, happy go lucky and all that, not the Irish bit and secret thirst for blood. (wait… it’s Leprechauns that go for the neck, right?)

Seriously, I don’t think we’ve had most people talk to him on the phone and ever really have a true problem with him. (or heck, after 5 minutes of not posting this – I can vaguely think of 1 counter example… unless that was text, too, and I misunderstood)

It seems to work something like this:

Phone: Neutral to utter and total infatuation (which can be more difficult to handle than neutrality or dislike, trust me; the people who are infatuated tie up the phone lines!)

Forum/Text: Completely polar. Sort of like Howard Stern, and just like Howard, Steve too seems to have a little more parity with the guys than gals. (and we’ll work on fixing this)

“I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.” --Bill Cosby

Again, he doesn’t take my approach, and I don’t necessarily agree with everything he does or says. However, I’m adult in that I do acknowledge him as separate human, with his own thoughts, hopes, emotions, fears and life experiences. His own path. His own “style”.

As long as people are mostly good, that’s pretty great in my view. I’m extremely tough on myself, but I’m more of a realist with others. They can be extremely tough on themselves, too, or maybe there’s a different way they go about growing. But the thing that really counts to me is that they DO grow. That they do learn from their mistakes, and are better tomorrow than they are today.

What I like is that he is extremely helpful with people who call, and with people in general. He really likes people, and he has many long time friends because of that. From what I can see does try to be a better person with time. Like all good people do. Further, he also uses pheromones on a daily basis as part of his journey in self improvement, in some ways I wouldn’t have anticipated.

I’m not saying he’s perfect in the noun sense. I don’t think anybody is (now, as a verb, maybe; perfection is a process!). I’m also not saying that he’s everybody’s cup of tea, but mostly I think there are better people out to choose as your personal villain. In fact, I think far more of you guys would really get along with him if you just chatted with him for a few minutes on the phone.

That said, I’ll do my best to arrive at some counterpoint here. I’ll try to find a lady that most of the girls like, who offends a few of the guys. (but not all; afterall, Steve doesn’t offend all of the women) A female Howard Stern of sorts. I don’t know the perfect fit quite yet, but I’ll think deeply about this.

PS – Another comment Steve’s going to hate me for. I remember some time back hearing that Steve was ex-military. This was after reviewing a number of calls, and hearing how he handled people. I remember quite clearly turning to Jasmin and saying “He was in the military??? As what? A Killer Flower???” Not meant for Steve’s ears, EVER, but it seems relevant to get out there. (sorry, Steve!) However, he’s just too nice and heartfelt with most people for me to ever think of think as previously in the role of a soldier. He says he’s a different person now, so who knows…

You know… guys just… they talk a big game, but many men do that because… they are sort of delicate flowers. Deep, deep emotions. Fragile like a flower. Really.

I know a lot of men aren’t going to be cool with giving away “our secret” of sorts ducks… but I’m quite serious here, everyone. Upon divorce, for instance, it tends to be the men who commit suicide, whereas the women just move on. Look up the stats yourselves. Men tend to be much more sensitive than women, and there’s a lot of data to back that statement up. They just hide it better. They have to hide it. In general, they are very vulnerable emotionally. They cover the soft spot as a means of self-protection.

I love Steve, and I know Steve is a good person. Honestly, everyone here is. And I know Steve and Tisha have always been really awesome to each other. The day he sent Tisha a bunch of goodies and one big surprise also comes to mind, friends don’t do that. I love them both, and all. You too MHarris. <3

I do not know that I have anything new to add to this conversation. And I certainly do not want to add fuel to the fire. But I have had people ask me my thoughts. I actually have time now (been working on this off and on all day) but I am not sure where to begin.

I think pretty highly of the folks at Androtics and here on the forum. I also know nobody is perfect and people make mistakes. I also know there are a lot of strong personalities with strong opinions here. I also know it is easy to misinterpret things that are written and even some that are spoken. Communication is a two way street and I have written things that were less than clear and certainly have misinterpreted what others have written.

I do not think Steve was trying to be misleading with his original post. He always makes “big” posts with “big” titles and this was one.

I do not think Steve was being misleading about the cops contents in IS/a/b. I think he indicated what he thought was true, that there were no cops nor had there ever been in IS/a/b. Steve has always told me that he does not have direct access to the formularies of different products. And according to this latest post by Michael, Steve was partly right. The cops were included in one variation and then removed. We just did not know that.

I do not think that Androtics has been misleading about cops contents in products. Again I think they were more communication errors and misunderstandings. As Michael has since said the cops were in IS/a/b for a while and then taken out. Could Androtics be more specific about what ingredients they put into or take out of certain batches. Yes. Do I think they owe us that much detail. No. Not even on the consumer products. A314 is a good example. They tell us they have added ingredients and changed the formula. But they have not told us in detail what has been added in. And that is okay.

If also think to a certain extent Androtics has been a victim of the fact that they have tried to be so open. We now expect complete transparency from the company. Even where I think we probably do not really have a right to expect it. They tell us a lot more about the “ingredients” of their products (MXes or consumer products) than a lot of other companies do. And that is a big kudo for them. But we have come to expect almost complete transparency as the norm.

There have also been a lot of other efforts by Androtics that they have talked about – the commercial release of Ammo, the forum split, etc. And while they have been open about what they intend to do they do, again they do not really owe us all their internal planning guidelines. Just an announcement before it happens. The timing – even if it takes years – is theirs. And given the current economic situation, everyone’s mid-term economic plans are up in the air. Short term economic plans are simple: survive.

I am sad to see Tisha leave as moderator. I am unhappy the situation exploded as it did. I am not angry at any one person. I understand some people’s frustration with subjects like cops. I am happy to see Michael and Jasmin back on the forum but I wish it had been under better circumstances. I hope we can pull this all back together as tight as it was before.

Understood. But, even knowing that you are working on it, Tisha was not going to break that news to the whole forum, especially without a definite delivery date. That would have been just a tease, and she would not do that to us.

Maybe so, but when they actually did run out, we were not informed.

She did post her concerns to the forum.

As I see it, Tisha was not making accusations or painting Androtics as nefarious. She made it very clear that she respected and cared about company management, deeply.

Her issue was with the lack of communication about changes in the products that affected their effectiveness for many women. And as moderator, she was also an intermediary who cared enough to stand up for the women of this forum whose needs, because they are in the minority, were often overlooked.

Steve, Jasmin and Mike have no reason to defend themselves against baseless accusations and demands, because none were made.

The only accustation Tisha made was to Steve, about joking around and making it seem (even if it was done unintentionally) as though the cops were back in the products. Especially when there are so many loyal women here patiently waiting (on the edge of their seats) for this breakthrough.

In my time here, though shorter than many others here, I have never seen Tisha act in a selfish or hurtful manner. To anyone. Even when feeling wronged, or defending someone she felt was wronged, Tisha still made sure to point out that it was that particular point, that offended, and not the person themselves.

What I saw was a dedicated woman who cared very deeply for this company, give practically every minute of her spare time to helping this company and its members. She did this out of love and kindness, and did not ask for a penny in return.

All these years of selfless dedication, and she is just kicked to the side like nothing. Tisha was the heart and soul of this forum, she went above and beyond so many countless times.

Is anything even being done to try to get her back?

This forum meant everything to her, and, despite her “New Beginnings” post, she may well have quit in a moment of hurt and anger, but didn’t want others to see it as such.

not for nothing
but im laughing my ass off at the “tags” at the bottom of the page…

Good lord, I’m reading novels, fantastic communication guys.

MHarris: Thank you very much for explaining, it helped alot.

Steve: Baby, misunderstandings happen, I don’t think people were necessarily angry at you in particular, it’s just the problem of “cops” that made matters worse imho. I figured that you’re a teddybear before MHarris even wrote about you. Now you’ve learned something, communication is key to everything. Anyhow, I still think that you should consider trying to get Tisha back into the forum, maybe not as a moderator, but still continuing to post like she used to.

Bosshanks: you go daddykins, right to the point.

Sounds like tags for a movie poster!
back , bullshit , cops , copulins , lies , put , sexi , shits going down , steveo , tisha

I have a few things I’d like to say as well don’t we all right now?

I love you guys I may not always agree with everyone on this forum but thats FINE its life without strife things would get very very dull and there would be no progress.
Sometimes things need a catalyst sometimes they need a stabilizer.

Tisha, I know some of us took her reaction as overboard.
However, I would like to ask everyone to look at how many of us are on these forums and she wasn’t just going to bat for us gals .
She also said more than a few times that she wasn’t leaving entirely she was still going to be in and out and product testing and that she wanted us to be happy and have fun.

Mharris,
So far I haven’t seen one post from this man that engenders anything but respect. Not giving us what we want just to make us happy is a hard position to be in anyone with teenagers or kids knows this.Theres going to be some kicking and screaming involved or at least dirty looks. However, at the end of the day we still love our kids and they love us.
Keep in mind we’re messing with neurotransmitters here not just specifically scents so by not selling us inferior cops or pheros we are actually being protected from a potential of harm.
I know some days this has to be frustrating but thank you for being patient with us. IMHO you’re right human beings as mature as we want to be are a constantly evolving and maturing species. We are all children, constantly learning and evolving.

Diane,

I think its absolutely wonderful you’re working on natural copulins. The more natural a product is the better I generally react to it and the healthier things are usually.I always appreciate reading your reports and have always found your feedback interesting and informative. My first few weeks here I heard that you were one of the most consistent and scientific in your approaches to testing.I’ve seen tish say good things about you more than a few times. Also thank you the shine tiredness did wear off eventually for me.

Steve-o, I don’t hate you doll rather fond of you actually but I didn’t feel that you needed to go on the defensive not yet anyway.
However, maybe theres part of the convo I missed. I’m happy for you your girlfriend is getting her first phero to try I know I was estatic when my boyfriend joined me in testing although he needs a sound spanking for not reporting as much as he should. In remark to your comment about me being patient. I’m a fairly paitient woman unless its fedex then well I’m fidgety and hyper lol I love getting packages and hate waiting on them.

In general.

I just placed an order for a series of mx’s and putatives to report on.I got a gc for my birthday and frankly I probably annoy my family talking about how much I love this company ,this forum and the people involved.
I have yet to get a product that didn’t work although some of them work differently for me than everyone else.

I have severe social anxiety and products like come talk to me instant honesty and instant openess have helped me a lot.
So for the new guys and gals dropping by don’t red flag this as a bad company or get worried. We’re simply taking the time to improve our customer/tester to company dialogue that we’re getting responses from androtics staff should tell you at least one thing. You aren’t invisible as a customer here.

Oh and on a slightly unrelated note. I love trader joes its the only place I’ll get groceries from.

All we need is a dramatic voice guy to read the tags..

Hi Mr Harris,
I wanted to know if there have been any studies re children and the pos use of phermones to help them make friends?
Also this is probably a STUPID question but I AM new to all of this so please excuse me if this has already been answered before. Re:Human coplins. If you take it from a women is she first tested to make sure she does’nt have a VD? I read recently where 1 in 4 people in the US now have a VD.I also want this ingredent included but was wondering about the HOWS of ot all.

Lol, I noticed those earlier. Did someone make the tags like that, or do they just go like that automatically?

I know that my experience here has been short, and I’ve kept my mouth shut so far about what’s been going on. I frankly don’t have enough perspective to add anything constructive.

But I want to thank MHarris for taking so much time to explain and communicate with us in a manner that was calm, well thought out and inoffensive. You have been the voice of reason that threw the water on the fire. I know everything is not worked out, and people will simmer along for a while yet, maybe, but your posts have done wonders toward calming people down. I appreciate all the information that you did share with us, and hope that this is the beginning of a new clarity in communication between Androtics and its clients.

Steve, thank you for coming here and apologizing. It is plain to me that you did not start this thread with the goal of confusing and aggravating the women in this forum. However, once things were off and running, the best way to diffuse it is to apologize, it really destroys any reason to stay angry when someone humbly asks forgiveness. You have risen dramatically in my estimation just by that simple act.

I agree that Tisha will be greatly missed. She was so personable, and it was obvious that to her this was not just a job, but that she connected with so many out of a caring and loving heart. If there is something that can be done to make amends, to bridge the gap so to speak, then by all means, please do it. You will not find her easy to replace. And this forum will not be the same without her. Tisha, I applaud your integrity and forthrightness in defending the little guy. I know your intentions were good. We will miss you so much, please reconsider.

hey MHarris,

I don’t dislike Steve, I happen to like him very much, he has a fountain of knowledge and experience on his side. However, as your guy on the forum, he needs to respond before the thread get to the eighth page of responses. It’s his job, and he’s good at it. It’s not personal, his responses need to be timely and accurate. We would have never arrived at this point if he had addressed this issue earlier in this thread.

I did not mean to put this message in a public forum, but in my experience many of my pm’s get ignored, and I believe this to be an important enough issue to be noticed.

Hey chasm, why didn’t Bush or Obama give the auto manufacturers the few billion dollars they needed to keep from going bankrupt, but gave the financial institutions hundreds of billions?

Yeah, try answering a question that you have no inside knowledge of!

Well you know what? I do know why Steve didn’t respond, because he told me! And maybe before you decided that you KNEW what his job was, you could have asked him!!!

Is there some reason that you feel the need to fan or re-ignite a flame here, after it’s been pretty well put to rest, or do you just have some kind of score to settle?

And, since you know Steve’s job so well, and feel that you can criticize Michael, maybe you’d like to take on their jobs!

You shouldn’t judge ore criticize anyone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes!
