I’ve been thinking about coming up with a social mix with more of a twist to it than just Instant Openness and Instant Shine, which is my usual go-to combo. I already like P83 and P86 together, but usually I use them in lower concentrations, not as a main component of a mix, and really wanted to experiment with bringing them to the forefront.
I also recently got some TAF (10mcg/spray) which people say adds focus and an extra boost to mixes, so I figured this would be a good addition.
So the combo is as follows, sprayed individually:
P86 (20mcg/spray) 5 sprays (2 neck, 2 forearms, 1 hair)
P83 (20mcg/spray) 2 sprays (1 forearm, 1 hair)
TAF (10mcg/spray) 2 sprays (1 forearm, 1 neck)
I/Openness x2 neroli scented 3 sprays (2 neck, 1 forearm)
Self effects:
I sprayed the three individual ones first and let them dry down before adding the Openness. Almost immediately I got a calming, warm effect and began to get a deep, centered feeling in my stomach.
Before spraying anything, my mood was neutral, but after applying this mix, I realized I was in a good mood. Not overly happy, but contented and optimistic. I think that was the effect of the alpha-androstenol in the Instant Openness combined with the P86 which can make things seem better. The TAF probably gave it an extra kick too.
I remember reading on the forum that someone described the effect of P83 as butterflies in their stomach. I think that might be where the centered feeling was coming from. It wasn’t quite butterflies in my case. Instead of being jittery, it just felt really good.
Two hours later, the effects still held up and I realized the TAF might be doing more than I originally suspected. It was taking me longer to do things like cleaning the sensor on my digital camera, because I was really focused and really into doing it right. TAF does seem to help make ordinary things fascinating and increases awareness of detail.
The TAF effect dovetails nicely with the alpha-androstenol/P86 good mood vibe. It creates curiosity and genuine interest in things instead of just clinical focus.
I’m liking this mix a lot for the self-effects alone and am still feeling good from it. I’m going out later and will report back about its effects on others.
