I have no previous experience with pheromones, I however do have a general scientific interest. I’m studying bioinformatics and in addition I’m interest as a hobby in gathering data the quantified self way.
How bad would it be if I would go directly for products of the ExperiMone Series instead of using the “customer products”?
Are the customer products basically mixes of the same pheromones of the ExperiMone Series?
Essentially all consumer products are a mix of the experimone and putative series. Its suggested to start with the consumer line first as these have been extensively tested and have shown consistent results. The experimone and putatives are recommended for those with more experience in testing phero products.
If its complete research you’re looking for, then yeah it would be better to start off with ExperiMones. Unfortunately, you won’t know how to dose them. Hence the catch-22 that you should start with the consumer line. Most are dosed at 15mcg/spray while ammo is at 7.5mcg/spray. Once you find your sweet spots, you can dose your experimones accordingly.
If you just want to data record all day, and see if there are any changes from baseline, then go with ExperiMones, in a few months you should have a decent grasp of what they do.
I already read that one the main site. I can completely understand that most newbies are ignorant and need detailed step by step hand holding that the consumer line is able to provide. I can understand when newbies give up because they don’t immediately get the results that they were looking for.
I can understand that systems are designed for DAUs.
I therefore want to understand the challenge of going directly to the advanced level.
Say I want to try it with the ExperiMones series/Putatives and I’m willing to spend 200$, what do you recommend me to order?
Actually 24. I wrote a few more personal details down in an introduction thread: http://www.pheromonetalk.com/introductions-new-users-say-hello-today/im-christiank-47264.html
When you mentioned the mcg/spray, where you referring on what strength to by the Experimones, or how much he should use? Just for my own clarification, I’m slow today
The rest like the T series TAH TAL TAA TAK etc etc are coded and no there is no list as to what these are available to the public. In fact except for the owners Harris and Jasmin and the Lab Tech’s who formulate the products the rest of the staff dont know the chemical name. Unless you have them analyzed by a lab which is very costly your just not going to find out the chemical names. Believe me we have been trying for years.
Your other question regarding the challenges faced with jumping right to the advanced. Advanced products are in testing. Some act as a pheromone and some dont. Except for the experimental mixes they are single molecules. The effects of these on there own can be very subtle and hard for the inexperienced user to pick up on. It takes practice.
The challenge would be you being mindful enough to pick up on the behavior changes in you and in others and determining whether its your behavior that effecting the change in others or the pheromone signal.
Starting with the proven consumer products gives you the experience you need to make that task easier.
You will never be a good runner if you dont learn to walk first.
What P51Mustang and Tisha have said are accurate, although you asked this in another thread about patents and it was already mentioned that the line’s proper chemical names are classified except where we mention them blatantly in the cases where it actually says it.
The only people who know are those who work with the molecules directly like Harris, Jasmin, the chemist(s), lab tech(s), and myself. Even then some people in the lab still only see the chemicals by their putative numbers.
This is to protect the research as well as the integrity of the results. It is always interesting to see what putative people think are certain molecules, though.
Stick to the consumer line for a bit and then I would definitely take P51’s advice about which to start with.
