416 is the one I used the most and liked best. 414 was almost as nice, while 415 smells a little bit bad IMO.
Never got around to try 419 at all (yet) because time of course is limited and often when I go out I like to use proven mixes instead of experimenting with a new standalone.
Only tried 418 a couple of times but got compliments on the smell with that one from women I know. Some thought it was after shave and I had to bullshit about the brand.
418 didn’t do much more but then again, it hasn’t been given many chances yet.
416 would be the winner out of this pack. 418 would be second. I ame 3 testings into 419 but i havnt seen the same hits I did from 416 at this point.
Now, when testing this pack in warm/hot and cool/cold environments the results were night and day. I had the priviledge of testing here in norcal and a 2 week vacation back in FL. My hits in FL were much easier to recognize and took place at further distances than here in San Fran. So its diffusion and “tinacity” were much different. Here in norcal I rarely saw hits over 3-4ft. While in FL I had hits over 6ft.
But, after sampling this pack I can say the following: Each mx seemed to go on the skin a bit different. Some had longer dry down time, some seemed more oily, and some seemed to last longer on the skin as others did not last as long. I wouldnt be surprised if there were different bases or ratio’s of the bases in each mx. What I can say without a doubt is that none of them had the the same range as the scented original. MX391 was very consistant in just about all of the judged catagories where these mx’s left some desire in those areas. I do not like the FF21 scent but I dealt with it to be able to get hits from the MX. Id much rather have a scented product that gave consistant hits than a “stealth” diffusing product that was inconsistant.
