I just got done watching the “pick up artist” marathon. I was just wondering does anyone use any of theese techniques??? like does anyone strictly use Mystery’s Method and Consistently pick up girls or get numbers. Is his methods REALLY that effective???..They make it seem so easy..I am thinking about looking into this
Well, everyone has their own personal tactics, but a lot of his ideas play well in everyday situations. Yeah, they’ve helped me out!

Never underestimate the power of a well-timed neg. <nod> I can’t say I’ve ever used anyone’s method in total, since I’ve been faithfully married the last 4 years, but I do like to flirt. There’s just something about a playful jab done at just the right moment.
the show is fake, no offence, but the person that won kosmo, is an actor… im in a bodybuilding forum and we all discovered it. anyways his tactics are common sense, i believe payton kane is the best underrated PUA.

how did you find out hes an actor???. And do you mean he was an actor on the show, or an actor in general?..yea and some of the stuff he talks about is pretty much common sense. BUT, I do like some of his techniques and tactics. Its never bad to have a couple of new tricks in the bag!
I’ve been using TMM for a while with excellent affects. I also take some from Ross Jeffries, Juggler, David DeAngelo, Zane, Tyler Durden, Mehow and most everything of MASF.
You use what works and all of them if applied correctly will work. There are 100’s of styles out there, but the key is to be your own man.
Also as I understand it the PUA show held auditions, like any TV reality show would and as such several actors showed up to audition. Just because someone is an actor certainly cannot mean they have game. I believe Kosmo showed up without game and/or self confidence and was chosen on those factors as well as acting ability. Keep in mind its a TV show and regardless of what you might believe of any reality show they are all actors with certain characteristics that are appealing to TV. Who’d want to watch Survivor if the babes in Bikinis looked like me!
For that matter American Idol, shows the best and worst of auditions. You really don’t believe the judges watch 20K contestants at every venue. Only hand selected contestants by the producers get to go before the judges.
Plus alot of people who are struggling actors try out for these type shows just to get more exposure and experience. So while they may well be actors that dosnt mean they dont have to follow the rules of the contest or show.
i actually found the link that kosmo is an actor. Scene Interactive : Alvaro Orlando anyways show was entertaining, i just think mystery is real complicated with his techniques.

Scripted or not, I’m not suprised that some of the PUA’s are actors. Actor’s just naturally make the best PUAs. Does it delve into their occupations at all on the show? Because if the dude’s an actor and they say he’s a plumber or some shit like that on the show then it’s definitely scripted.
The thing people fail to realise about reality shows is there’s nothing real about them at all. The circumstances which surround them never occur in the real world, and the people on the shows (actors or not) just end up playing the part of themselves.
A rough plotline is made and they improv their way through the entire dealy. Being on a reality show is great way to kill your acting career before it even begins.
