The testosterone chronicles

This thread is inspired by my evening tonight.

My buddy calls me up at 1:00am to see what I am up to. He’s meeting up with buddy #2 as he is getting off work. We all decided to go to a local bar (pretty red neck but close to everybody).

After a couple drinks and a few games of tekken tag we notice a group of guys arm wrestling. There is this BIG Burrly 40ish year old guy who is beating everybody. Being a rather large guy myself and with a lack of competition in my life since sports back in the day, I decide to challenge him. I jump in after he rests up a bit and with an official start the battle begins. It was a pretty tough match. It was dead even for a good 30 seconds. For the next 30 to 40 seconds I’m slowly gaing. I kept pumping his arm until I had finaly beat him. I then was challenged by a few of the people who he beat just to see what kind of arm I had. Then my buddy #2 stepped in an gave a decent challenge. After all this, Big dude challenged me again. It was a more fair match as we both had the same amount of muscle use, but I still took him down. I was a little worried for a bit on the second bout when I didn’t get a decent lead and started to lose ground.

Total for the night I won 3 major battles and few small ones.

Arm wrestling with rednecks is so much fun.

Alright men! Lets hear your testosterone adventures.

lmao it seems no one has testosterone adventures except you.

nicely done.

Maybe there are just less rednecks everywhere else to produce similar situations. :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah i have to admit my forays into redneck bars definitely haven’t included armwrestling.

seeing a guy named scout karaokeing to freebird in a greasy basball cap, and then keeling right over? that’s in line with my experiences.

I didn’t know you lived in my neighborhood.

scout gets around…

Last time I arm wrestled it was at a speed dating event…

I lost…

So much for that idea…

Sheesh, talk about strange speed dating events.

The woman across the table beat you?!!! :open_mouth:

Turns out she studied Tai Kwan Do…
:open_mouth:

Me? I know karate, kenjutsu, and at least a half a dozen other Japanese words…
