To better serve

That explains what happened … I had a leakage DISASTER on a vacation this spring. I had ordered several To Go bottles I was going to use for small doses of my toys. So for this vacation, I filled up about 6 To Go bottles with my favorites. I even got some labels similar to the ones Androtics uses and ran them thru the laser printer so the names would look professional in case I was asked any questions. Put all of these in a plastic baggy and into a shaving bag/dop kit. I get to Florida and guess what. Almost every bottle has had a leak.:frowning: And the alcohol erased almost all of the print off of all the labels. I could identify the contents of 3 of the bottles (Ammo, TUTH and …) but for the other three bottles I had to take educated guesses - IH, Instant Gentleman and something else. To this day I am not sure what is in those three bottles.

Is there any way I can get some good replacement To Go bottles for the leaky ones I have? Thanks.

I mentioned it before to you Jas and this experience with the bad bottles proves it - it ain’t just SoCal. We say the same thing here … and our “actors” are amateurs - but they do a good job of pretending to work. And sometimes do a good job of pretending to do quality work.

I want that story too!!

I’m sure the idea has been brought up, but my leaks has told me that it’s the spray-head.

Those little bottle have to have screw on tops for’em, no? If so, why not send’em out with the screw on tops and add the spray top? For a few bucks more, that should fix it.

Well, I thought I had the solution.

Quality isn’t in too many American companies. The idea of six sigma was thoroughly ignored till recently. Even then, instead of implementing it, companies just bought the quality. Look at Toyota, Honda, Mazda.

Tisha, what happened at the Hard Rock will never be released.

The To Go bottles I have gotten now since we started with the leak problem have all been taped over, but it is the atomizer that is the issue. I have been in contact hundreds of times with the supplier and I’ll leave that at that.

Anyway, I am back in Memphis and will be working through the night to correct any problems that might have cropped up.

It might take me a day to sort out everything but rest assured my friends, as always I’m on top of it and everything will A-OK Peachy Keen in lickety split time.

Anyone notice the pic of me and Neil chilling?

Yeah, I caught it. Did you give him some tips on how to improve his game? :stuck_out_tongue:

Which is you, SteveO?

Oh you poop  I know what happened. You got to much attention and the bouncers must of gotten Jealous.

Or

All the girls wanted to dance with you so and it caused a riot LOL

UMMM I will get it out of you. Go put on some Instant Honesty and get back to me LOL

Glad you had a productive trip.

Steveo is on the right, James

Hey, M&M. Thanks for the suggestion.

That would be a great idea, if the problem was isolated to shipping the bottle. Unfortunately, it isn’t. The bad bottles have shown themselves to leak just about anywhere, right out through the top, through a leaky spray mechanism.

For example, I left an MX laying down on my desk, didn’t touch it, and the fluid level was down a few days later. This was the with the seam taped on the bottle, so it wasn’t coming out where the top meets the bottom.

Now some of the OLD mixes I have, years old, I occasionally find in a pocket somewhere, they’re still nearly full. That really made us ask “what the hell is wrong with these new bottles?!?!!”

The good ones were sort of frosted plastic tops. The bad ones were shinier and more translucent.

Not that the change in plastic had anything to do with it, but along with that change the place they have them made in China probably tinkered with a few other things. They likely used an inferior mold or spraying mechanism (or a less accurate injection press or whatever it’s called in plastics). Or maybe they ran the line too fast, or a myriad of different things in order to save 3/10ths of 1 cent during manufacturing. That ended up causing hell for everyone that uses their bottles. A trickle down nightmare.

It’s that penny wise, pound foolish thinking that makes life worse for everyone. ugh!

Having everything made in uneducated places these days is just short sighted and stupid. That’s why we switched almost exclusively to American synthesized pheros for nearly everything here. They may cost many many times per mg, but at least they’re extremely pure and consistent from batch to batch. American chemical producers are also more creative and focused on making powerful product. That’s why molecules like TAF and P104 knock you off your chair, make you forget your keys, whatever.

While America has become sloppier over the years in uneducated brute force (brawn) type industries, they’re still easily #1 in a lot of the educated ones, especially most chemical synthesis and analytics. Even if we outsourced that to India, where there are a lot of SMART, highly educated people these days, you’d still get a back in impure product full of lead and other contaminants you don’t want on or near your body. Their manufacturing lines aren’t very good. You need highly educated, quality obsessed brains and brawn to really make something good.

That’s why take the KitchenAid approach to manufacturing. We use as many parts as we can that are made with quality, care, and even love (hard in the case of some bottles, much easier in the case of many chemicals where there are still innovators and pioneers here in the US). We then manufacture and make everything we can with quality conscious people directly here. And instead of looking to outsource manufacturing to some random part of Asia, we’ll even start new workspaces here in the more quality conscious parts of the US in order to main and increase quality. What we can’t SEE being made, we have trouble believing is good.

It’s the pound wise and penny foolish approach, but we thinks that’s the best for the long term. I also think that if more companies had a community like this, and actually talked to their own clients on the phones more, hung out with them more out there int he world (as I do), that they’d choose a similar path. They’d spend more upfront and do the very best for their clients, since they’re real people to them. They’re friends. You always do the best you can for your friends. It’s when you view people as nothing more than numbers or statistics, as many ivory tower executive do, that you start to treat them poorly.

No tips. He just one up’d him!

Or you could also post the reps name and telephone number here so that any of us who have had major leaks or other major problems - see my earlier post - could call them too and let them know what we think of sub-standard spray heads, etc..

Of course I know you really can’t do that but my morning has gone poorly enough that I am in the mood to chew on someone’s arse and they would do quite nicely. I am not mad at you guys - you always do the best you possibly can and always fix any problem that pops up.

Welcome back. And yes we noticed. So did the two of you go out and tighten up your game?

So i opened up my MX phero box today, to finally get out and test the social and amplifier pack…never had tape on the bottles…and after about 3 months, each fucking one of them was evaporated…talk about a total bummer >.<

I have had togo bottles for over a year with no tape and never had one evaporate. Where do you keep them. If you store them in a cool dark place like the closet they should be fine.

Like I mentioned before I have alot of to-go bottles and only one has ever leaked. I throw them in my purse, carry them in my pocket and not one has sprung a leak. I think it has to do with the air preasure during shipping or something that makes them leak some.

Tisha

Thats soo wierd then. Cause all of mine were gone! …they are in a lil box at work, in a dark back room…But.. in the box they are not sitting up..they lie on their side…thats gotta be where i went wrong.. >.<

I spoke with April about the bottles again and we have switched over to the new ones so this should be all done. I understand that any product or mixes in the old bottles are being given away as samples.

Please, if you ordered a bottle and got another, take into account that you may have received a free sample that we’re clearing out. The new ones seem to be working great.

I don’t think there will be any more issues anymore with leaks through the atomizer. Of course, if there is, like always, all you have to do is go to the support suite and submit a ticket. The address is in my signature and I will be more than happy to help you out.
