@Business As Usual - No you don’t have “respect” for her, you’re putting her on a pedestal. I know, because I did that for many years in my life.
Sex is natural and of course fun as hell, and is a vital part of a relationship. To truly respect her, would be to accept the fact that she is a sexual being in her own right.
By putting her on a pedestal, and “respecting” her you’re putting her in a position she does NOT want to be in and pressuring her to be something she may not be, or cannot be, and that is perfect in your eyes. The simple truth is she’s a flawed, imperfect human being. And if you don’t think she can feel this pressure, you’re very sorely mistaken.
By not allowing her to be a sexual being, and only by seeing her as relationship material, you are the one putting yourself into that dreaded friend zone an accomplishment I have achieved countless times doing the exact same thing.
In order for her to become attracted to you, you’re going to have to spark that attraction. You’re going to have to create sexual tension, you’re going to have to evoke feelings and emotions within her mind and body that she can link directly to you.
Now then on the other hand, you “respect” her so much it would be okay if all this changed because she was impaired…and no that is NOT statutory rape. To correct the poster above, Statutory rape is sex between a person of age with a person under the legal age of consent.
Now what I think you need to do here is get off your high horse and be honest with yourself and her about what your intentions are. NO I don’t mean go speak directly to her. What I am saying is cut the respect bullshit, you want this woman completely. Mind body and soul. Once you’re honest with that, you can be honest with her and not come off as a needy, pushy manipulative wuss bag.
You don’t have to announce your undying love for her which at this point would just be weird. But you could very well tell her the truth and act like an honest man filled with integrity around her instead of trying to slide under the radar. She will be far more attracted to that. I remember telling a girl one time, “yeah you’re gonna fall for me, you won’t be able to help it, women just LOVE me.” Took maybe a week before it happened.
Once you are honest with yourself and her about your intentions, every interaction now takes on a different meaning. You can take the pressure off of her and yourself. Now you can just act like a normal man and flirt with her, tease her, touch her / kino (in appropriate ways of course) but put up that dreaded clock blocking friend zone.
Instead of "respecting’ her and hiding your true intentions as to why you’re hanging around, doing shit for her, kissing up whatever.
Women are very intuitive creatures. Even if you tell her that you’re not interested, by your actions she’s going to know it, or know that something is just not right. And knowing either or both of those will only cause her to feel uncomfortable, or sense that there is some reason that you’re untrustworthy.
Its taken me a number of years to learn all of this, and I still find myself falling into that trap of being a nice guy who just “respects” women, when truly you’re are being one of the most disrespectful person in their life by just not being the real you.
