…and by that, I mean, can a target know whether they are being affected by pheromones…? No, I won’t waste anyone’s time, because the unqualified answer to this is ‘no’ [according to everything I’ve read, and what people have said in these forums].
But let me qualify my question this way: What about experienced pheromone users, viz. the experts and mixers/testers here who regularly use them to influence their surroundings…? Clearly if someone else’s pheromones are acting on them, they will not detect it concretely (through smell or otherwise), but would they be well aware of the physiological and psychological changes they are undergoing to infer that they are under the ‘influence’? i.e. if you suddenly start giggling and become convivial towards someone you usually ignore, or if you inexplicably can’t stand the sight of someone that you have a good rapport with… things like that… I guess this will only make sense if something out of the ordinary happens. It will be next to impossible to decipher this in case of strangers [am I right?]
It’s usually not such a big deal - in fact, mostly beneficial to both the wearer and the target(s) to subconsciously yield to the effects of mones. But I’m wondering if we can keep our guards up in cases such as sales, interviews etc. where we might be manipulated (for the lack of a less strong word) into doing something that we might otherwise not do…? or perhaps in the workplace where someone’s essence (deliberately or inadvertently) was causing unwanted sexual tension or dispute of ‘status’… if you know what I mean… Can our mind be ‘trained’ to detect and override our body, enough for us to ignore it, or is submission inevitable…?
In case this sounded ridiculous, I can still wave the ‘feel free to ask silly questions’ disclaimer…
