Wow! Amazing hits!

Hey guys, tonight was one damn great night, let me explain why.
As some may know, I’m working in a grossery store. I’m the only male cashier, and it’s nice. Lol. I was working from 5 to 11. (Just so you know)

17:00 pm
I arrived at my job in a great mood. As soon as I entered the store, everyone came to talk to me, waving at me, saying how happy they were to see me. That was a pretty good start.
Then I entered the cashiers room to get my things and get ready to work. There was 4 cashiers in there. All of my age (about 18-19), and mostly hot. I said “Hi” as usually, but now I was the complete center of attraction. It was crazy. One of them came from the other side of the room to hug me, and they would all ask me questions at the same time about my weekend, about where I was going this summer, etc. I couldn’t understand single one of them, so I had to say like: “Wow, one at the time, girls.” Ahah. And they all waited for their turn and they were all listening and staring at me as I was talking.

17:10 pm
Another cashier entered, saw me and said: “Omg, I could totally tell you were there 'cause I smelled your odor in the corridor. Smells so nice..” Then huged me. Then she looks at me and says: “Man you’re ripped, have you been working out?” I hadn’t. I was shocked. Seriously.

20:00 pm
As I was working, an amazing girl walked by. And by that, I mean, model type, possessing perfect 10 magazine proportions. She was gorgeous. (And totally out of my league! Lol) Our eyes met, and we both kept eye contact for like 15 seconds. Then I lost her behind some fat guys waiting in the line. But I could see she was still looking at me. My pants were filled with lust. Enough said.

22:55 pm
I finished my work shift and went back to the cashier room where we count our cash. There was the girl that had told me how nice I smelled. We started talking and I could feel in her body-language that she was pretty open. So I decided to play. I cold-readed her, telling her how similar we were for some bullshit reasons. As I was talking I said “Wait, close your eyes” and just brushed her cheek with my finger, as if I was removing an eyelash. (I love doing this) I was in confidence. I was the man.
As I was making out with her, I told to myself : “Men, what could that night have been if I had used pheromones?”

Yup, I wasn’t wearing anything else than my deodorant and my natural body odor. And it made me think. Alot. If I had been wearing pheromones tonight, I would have ran to my laptop, and I would have written the above story. Adding: “Omg, these things are doing wonders, I’ve never had so much attention from girls, it’s that amazing!” (And I trully don’t get that much attention usually)
All the night long, I would have said to myself: "Holy crap, ammo is super strong, this smokin hot girl looked at me, and this other chick huged me and told me how nice I smelled.
But I was not wearing any pheromones.

So I came to a conclusion, pheromones DO work. They even work on many different levels.

Physiological psychology level

Psychophysiology, cognitive neuroscience. Call it wathever you want. It’s by far the most discussed level here.
“The branch of physiology dealing with the relationship between physiological processes and thoughts, emotions, and behavior.”
It’s the most grounded level. X + Y = Z. The vomeronasal organ (or VNO), located near the bottom of the septal wall dividing the nose, detects, translates and sends messages to the brain.
As I said, it’s the most discussed and believed here. Different pheromones will affect poeple in some way because their brain is made to detect them and unconsciously react to them.

The “Lucky-charm” level

This is the one I found out tonight. If I had been wearing pheromones, I would have linked them to every positive behavior I’ve seen during my work shift. That’s why I call it the lucky-charm level. When you have a lucky-charm with you, let’s say a lucky bracelet, and something great happens, you may attribute it to the fact that you have you’re bracelet. If nothing great happens, you don’t ever remember you have that bracelet on your arm.
It reminds me of an answer I got on another post. Someone said: “Usually I forget that I wear my pheromones. And when the night is over, I look back at what happened and I realize how -mones worked well!” This is the lucky-charm effect.

Another exmaple. We all have superstitions. Some more than others. If you’ve done well before when you had a particular shirt on, for example, it might prove wise to wear the shirt again, if it helps to relieve anxiety and promotes positive thoughts. But this way of thinking can also hinder your performance, if say, you lose your lucky object.

Haven’t you heard something like that before? People seeking to get more IG because if they get out of stock, their life is screwed? It’s the dark side of this level. When you don’t have your lucky bracelet and you KNOW it, every unlucky event will remind you: “Damn, I don’t have my lucky bracelet”.

The belief level

Finally. I saw this one in many poeple on this forum. Mainly long-term users. Beliefs are strong. When we strongly believe in something, our brain will trust this belief and will react like there was no doubt it’s true.
It reminds me of homeopathy. Maybe some of you believe in homeopathy, it’s you’re choice. I had a friend who was from Mexico, and her parents believed in homeopathy, so she did too.
Once, she had a cold and I saw her with those weird brown bottles. I asked what the hell was in those. She didn’t really know, but she said that it worked well. So I made my little research, and for those of you who don’t know, homeopathic remedies are made from serial dilution of a product. So much dilution that in the bottles, there’s usually no molecule of the first product. The more diluate it is, the stronger it gets. So, to make a long story short, it’s water.

But it worked on her. Since she was born, her parent gave her homeopathic remedies when she was sick. And this belief might now be strong enough so that her brain says: “Yessssss, I’m gonna be healthy now!”.
2 days later her cold was left. And her brown little bottles had worked like a charm. (But I’ve had cold, that I’ve not treated 'cause I didn’t give a F, that left within 2 days.)

The belief level of pheromones works the same way, mostly with self effects. But I’m not saying pheromones are ALL placebo. I’m saying that part of it is due to the belief of the user. The other part might just be his sensors sending the “I’m awesome” message to his brain. But it will be stronger on poeple that strongly believe that they’ll have that effect.

Which level is the strongest? I have yet to know. But I know one thing. Tonight I made-out with one freakin hot chick. Maybe some TUTH would have made her get in my pants.
I’ll try it tomorrow.

Wonderful post here !

Maybe the reason of your unusual attractiveness comes from the fact that you were unusually in a great mood yesterday ?

Since you were in such a great mood, maybe you showed much more confidence, security and your body language was typically an alpha male one..?

I heard somewhere that women are 10 times quicker to unconsciously read and interpret body languages than males.

And you got us all waiting for the formula and pop our balloon at the end, lol.

Perhaps your eyes can talk, if not before, then at least on that day.

Have you tested Androtics pheromones yet, or is this post all conjecture?
If so… have you used pheromones in your workplace?

Either way, good luck next time round,

-Evolve

There may be, to some degree, a placebo or “lucky charm” effect. However, I think that using pheros will affect your brain directly. It’s not a drug, it’s a signal, and that will in and of itself create new neural connections just as if you are exposed to any other new stimulus. The new pathways are there whether you are wearing pheros or not, and that will tend to change your behaviour. It’s also true that you will get more success when using pheros than not, and this will affect your beliefs about yourself. I personally believe that it is this “training wheels” effect that makes pheros so useful for me, it is helping me break old bad habits.

In short, you can’t discount the placebo effect. On the other hand, you can’t give it too much credit either.

They probably work on multiple levels that result in “getting out of the box”… humans (as all life forms) are creatures of pattern and habit.

Humans are exquisitely programmable, by the late 19th century it was observed that the fixed adult character had a strong relationship with the early life context. Freud in particular believed that the unconscious mind, “the box we don’t see” was the result of childhood imprinting.

Part of the imprinting pattern is probably the pheromone field of the family environment. This may well dictate who we are and aren’t organically drawn to.

Pheromones, IMHO, to some extent unlock the box, causing us to engage in novel patterns of relationship that are independent of early roles in the family dynamic…

Among my responses to shock doses of pheros was the intuition that here was something fundamentally new to my database of experiences… I was experiencing something at a level that was previously unknown to me. And probably unknowable in a stable universe.

This, in turn, activated my brain’s novelty detection circuitry… suddenly an new, complex, highly integrated mixture of emotions, thoughts, and body sensations impinged on the self-image I was carrying of the “real me”… I shifted from perceiving my identity as an unconsidered state of nature, an expression of the way things are, to a more flexible construct capable of adaptation. The previous model of my true self appears two dimensional, trapped in an artificiality that was impossible to notice.

Once THAT learning had consolidated, pheros occupied a much different position in my thinking, they were more than pleasure toys, they were keys to opening my sense of ego states as planes of understanding.

Yup, I’ve been testing pheros in my workplace. I’ve tried different mixes, but nothing gave me the results I got yesterday. It was just a F-ing great day.

I do not discount any of those levels. I think they all affect our brain in some way, some more than others. In different cases, there will be different proportions to the 3 levels.

  • People seeking results, like first time users, may try to link everything they see to pheros. In this case, the “lucky-charm” effect might be stronger than others.
  • Somone who as sensitive neurotransmitters and more sensitive to pheros (like many women), OR that already have an strong and attractive pheromone signature, might see the psychophysiological level go beyond the 2 others.
  • Someone who has used pheros for years and strongly believe in them, may have a bigger proportion of the “belief” level. (But there’s still a proportion of level 1 and 2!)

None of those are to be minimized. They all come together and make the effect we see as -mones users.

Great report. Remember it’s also how you’re perceiving things.

I want to share something with you, that shows blatantly how pheromones do work. And by work, I mean it by the intended effects for the pheromones, not “magic” that some people have come to expect.

"Same general reactions as far as Friday night. The big difference is there was a higher girl:guy ratio and when you guys talk about DIHL , I was shocked. My mouth literally dropped when I got that look. I had to walk away because I was like “Holy ^&*#, This is ridiculous”. This wasn’t just once, this happened 3-4 times around the bar. I knew it had to be the mones because one girl wasn’t even looking towards me, she was facing the bar ordering a drink and I was behind her, about a foot away, waiting for them to move so I can go order my drink. She turns around and looks right at me and smiles. I was like WTF there was NO WAY she knew I could have been there. Also mind you, she was taller than I was, and I’ve never ever ever gotten that reaction from someone taller. "

Also on that note.

A friend of mine was wearing a totally different pheromone signature, I was using MX301, He was using MX297, AMMO, A314. I deliberately decided to test this out and I left and told him to just stand behind the girl again and make sure she can’t see you. He came within proximity, gave the same results again. So I was like ok maybe coincidence. I told my other friend to just stand by the girls and to try to not attract their attention. Nothing happened. I observed other guys going there and standing waiting for drinks, nothing. The only other time she turned around was when this guy bumped into her. Did the smile and eye contact mean anything? Yes. Was it what was intended for Pheromones, Absolutely. Did we hook up with the girl or escalated? No. Why? Because we didn’t follow through with it, we didn’t use the next step in the ladder for it. Also you’re younger so you produce a lot of natural pheromones to begin with, you said you didn’t wear any cologne that day and it was just you. Precisely proving that it’s not just a placebo effect. Your own body did the talking for you with the release of the natural pheromones.

I know they do work.
What I’m saying is that you can have one freakin great night with a lot of hits when you’re not wearing pheros. So when you are using them, you should always stay objective, because maybe the same thing would have happened without them.
But yes, -mones affect people’s perceptions, I never said the opposite.

I was commenting more on placebo effect

I like these postings because they’re objective. It may be fun to play around with pheromones but as in so many other things there is nothing manfactured that’s as good as the real thing. Probably natural pheromones from your OWN body are better than anything artificial. I’m next going to search on here to see if there’s any postings in regard to differences in “hits” with people who wear natural deoderant (no anti-perspirant, which can block your natural pheromones) or no deoderant al all. My guess is that they get as many or more hits as people with anti-perspirant on and loaded down with every I and M synthetic pheromone on the market!

I noticed a huge difference myself when I switched to natural deoderant and fragrances.

Would using strong anti-persipirant could make a difference in our pheromone signature?
Both armpits represent an area of about 8 square inchs. If you stop perspiration in this area, there will be still more than 2000 square inchs of your body skin surface producing sweat.

However, pheromones don’t come in sweat. Sweat and pheromones are not secreted by the same type of glands.
In fact there’s 3 types of glands:

  1. Sebaceous glands: Those are everywhere on the body. They secrete substance that protect us from microorganisms potentially dangerous.

  2. Sweat glands (or eccrine glands): These glands release water and salt to help regulate our body temperature.

  3. Apocrine glands: These are the one that produce pheromones. They secrete a more oily substance than sweat glands and they’re located wherever body hair exists. (mainly armpits and genitals)

Antiperspirant are made to block the secretion from sweat glands, but they’re also prevent any pheromone production by the apocrine glands.

Using (or not) antiperspirant could be a huge factor in the results people are seeing.
This is getting interesting! I might have just found my doctoral thesis: Impact of antiperspirant on the body’s pheromone production.

so does anyone really believe this was written by an 18-19yr old kid?

Wanna see my ID’s?
Of course I do research before posting. But I just had a scholarship to go study psychology at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Maybe you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover…
