I have been hearing a lot of great things about this product lately, and am just curious if it’s the same thing as Tom Ford for Men? 
Many of the sites that I usually go to compare prices (scentedmonkey, parfum1, scentiments, fragrancenet) doesn’t seem to have this product. Where have the previous buyers of this product purchased this from? I did notice NeimanMarcus having it on their store website, but was wondering if there is a legitimate place that you could purchase it cheaper from. I plan to go to NeimanMarcus in the near future just to smell it and see if I like it, but would still like to know about where to purchase it for the best price, while stilll being 100% legit. TF Men is completely different that Vanille.
Vanille is heavy tobacco and vanilla. You might want to look around for some samples first - it can be quite heavy and even a little sickening to some, considering the combination.

Yeah, this is a private blend, so you’re just not gonna find it at a discount website, im afraid. At least i sure couldn’t, and i tried pretty hard. But go check it out, find the price at Neiman Marcus, and compare it to here:

That’s a reputable guy on Basenotes selling his bottle of it, mostly full. Don’t know how good the price is, but look into it.
Awesome MFG, thanks a lot. I am thinking about purchasing a sample from theperfumedcourt if I like it at NeimanMarcus, and go from there and see if I like it enough to buy a bigger bottle. This is even more expensive than my CGIT I just bought. 
Oh yeah, tell me about it. Then even higher is the spirituous double vanille, which i also got a decant of. 
Good thing i stopped buying this stuff… oh wait, sandalwood. DANG ME! DANG ME TO HECK! Must… stop… with… the… CRACK(cologne)!!!
ROFL, I hear you bud. I just sent a pm to denec recently for an order of the sandalwood essential oil (5 ml for $30 + shipping fees) :o. It’s worse than crack. Then again I have never tried drugs before in my life so I wouldn’t know. I would buy colognes instead of drugs anytime of the day.
That is a really good price in fact he just lowered it to $125, i am shocked no one jumped at it, normally goes for $180 retail
and you cannot find this at any discount sites
one thing though with TV I don’t think this can be used too much in the hot summer it would be too heavy and cloying
Thanks for the tip. I currently am doing my best to save money, so I’ll buy a sample from perfumed court. I will go to Sephora for the first time tomorrow and see what they have there, and might hit up Neiman Marcus to try TV as well
I just got my sample from the court a few days ago, and I LOVE IT!!!
I want to try ALL his private blends now.
I also got some Black Aoud by Montale, I found that mixing the two indirectly (putting some aoud on jaw line, and the tobacco vanille on my neck/behind ears) was a really great combination and the vanilla worked great with the muskiness of the Montale.
Go wild, the perfumed court is a great place!

I’d been hearing the raves about it too so I bought a decant of TV and Vanille, to compare them. I like the TV better because is a deeper scent. I could really see myself snuggling into a neck wearing that. The tobacco “roughs” up the vanilla enough to really masculinize it (is that a word???). The Vanille was ok. Definitely one of the best vanilla scents that I’ve ever smelled for a man, but kinda flat compared to TV. Also, I could smell the TV the next morning whereas the Vanille was pretty faint. So, a little TV goes a long way.
Now if only my husband liked the scent…he’s a stick in the mud anyways when it comes to trying a new scent The scent is supposed to be unisex, I believe, and although I like TV immensely and I did wear it a few times, I think I would find it odd to smell a tobacco scent on a woman, and since hubby doesn’t like it, maybe I’ll give it to my brother.

Funny thing is i happened to try Spiritueuse Double Vanille on the way home yesterday at SAKS
I did 4 sprays 2 on each hand.
And I have to the seocnd time I sampled was a lot better, I think you need a lot of sparys to get a good sample. The nice thing abotu this vanilla is you can wear it in the summer without it being too cloying.
It lasted a very long time into the morning.
The real question is is worth the price and is it different enough from Tom Ford TV to own? I don’t know
