What’s a good cologne to wear? I’ve been hearing a lot about Creed’s cologne and I been looking for something to cover up my pheromones. What do you guys recommend? One where you gotten lots of compliments on. Tell me your top 3. Something fresh and sexual that smells really good.

As you can tell I love the Creed range of colognes. The best bet is to get a half dozen or so samples and wear them. After a while one or two will jump out at you that you like better than the others. The thing with recommendations is that YOU may not like what others like and they can only be a general guide.
Oh one last thing if you do consider the Creed range they are very very expensive.

i must say go for quality, not saying the 70 dollar ones are bad, but some the expensiver ones are better,

I got most of my samples from Les Senteurs perfumery in London, one phone call and they post them out to you for a fee for P&P. For samples in the States I have no idea what the best place would be. Maybe if SnoopyAce or Soccerdale are reading this they may be able to tell you Bedojo as I know they have ordered samples from the Creed range.
Taibo two of the places you can buy the Creed range for a discount from what they charge at retail are Fragrance.net and FragranceX.com. I have purchased GIT from FragranceX and it was fine and came quick.
Thanks I’ll definitely check it out, I’ll just buy multiple small bottles so I can have a variety of them. What’s a good size to buy? I’m taking more suggestions on some Creed colognes or a different brand especially ones that you get a lot of compliments from girls.
Fragrancenet usually sell the Creed range in 1oz, 2.5oz and 4oz bottles but its best to get load of samples first. If Snoopyace or Soccerdale see this post which I’m sure they will, they could advise the best place to get the samples within the States. Just do not buy blind before you try a cologne yourself no matter what I or others rate it.
defiantly get samples cuz fragrances change, and you cant experiance that on a piece of paper imo.
as for getting them colognes, might be samples on these sites ill have to check…

Ok, so we all agree that Green Irish Tweed is a must try. Especially since it’s still summer and it works the best when the heat brings it out. For the record, i just can’t help LOVING scents that work the best at night/fall/winter occasions. Keep that in mind. Now, that said, i also recommend these scents:
(my TOP scent for compliments) Frederic Malle - Musc Ravageur (sensual vanilla and musk combo, very good for night time, dates, and winter)
Serge Lutens - Chergui (oriental green blend, can be worn in heat, better for fall)
Tom Ford - Tobacco Vanille (exactly what it sounds like, good masculine cologne to help you stand out)
I have more, but those are all expensive and most likely you’ll only be able to get 1-2 of them, so try some samples out and pick your favorites. But if you only choose two, try the first two (GIT and Musc Ravageur).

If you’d like me to name more, it would help to have a category… green scents? vanilla scents? clubbing scent? formal occasion? winter? summer? etc… Once you really get into fragrances, you start realizing how different subtleties really are brought out the best in certain circumstances. So what are you looking for?
I had GIT today in my hands. I applied it to my skin and… I hated it! And so did my female friend. I tried Original Vetiver as well and I didn’t like it. Again, she shared the same opinion.
Honestly, I was expecting much better from Creed as I had read amazing reviews in this forum.
She went crazy about Allure Sport (from Channel) though. She liked the other Allure versions as well (the regular one and another one recently made).
It happens, I was also expecting more from GIT but it still smells good. I’d still buy it, but everyone has a different opinion.
I currently made a cologne with a base of vanilla, amber, and musk. Middle note of cologne accord with aldehydes for lift, and for top note I used bergamot. I can’t wait for it to settle a bit to smell what everything smells blended together. Hopefully good…

Try that link and search around they have different sizes available – I like the 1.5 ml sprays… gives you enough for several uses. For colognes like Bois Du Portugal that are really strong you can get by with one spray. Good luck.
A big advantage of GIT is that if you don’t overspray it, it is never offensive. One of my friends hates cologne so I wear GIT around her all the time. The day I changed it to another popular one asked me why I was wearing cologne and told me again that she hated cologne.
If anyone is looking for non-offensive summer colognes try the Roger Gallet collection. Most of them, are inexpensive, underated and although nothing special, smell great. However be prepared to refresh every hour lo because they’re Eau de Cologne. I’ll suggest the Vetyver one for a more office like scent and Jean Marie Farina Extra Vielle for smelling like an orange tree (in a great way). However, don’t expect anything too special, they are great in their simplicity.
