I get this a lot. I only every wear 1 spray of turn up the heat which is in the same mild neroli scent as Instant Shine for example of which I can wear six sprays and not get a compliment on the smell. In fact the only other Androtics product I get complimented on for the scent is ammo and thats obviously because of the cologne it’s in.
The compliments I get from ammo are very different from the compliments I get from turn up the heat. Girls seem to get all excited and confused when they say “you smell really nice” leaning in to take a whiff where as with ammo it’s the same kind of compliment you’d get for wearing any other kind of cologne. It seems girl compliment on the none in turn up the heat but on the cologne scent in ammo (alhough the none in ammo obviously still works) It’s obviously the none and not the neroli that the girls like the smell of but can they consciously smell and if so is it a strong scent because I can’t smell it?
It is a strong scent I think, but I actually lack the vocabulary to describe how it seems to me. Some folk say it smells of sweat, even cat piss. I just smell something I can’t quite describe… but I’m not sure how to put it, except that for me it doesn’t quite go with neroli so well… there needs to be something to “bridge” the two in TUTH to me, the whole package kind of smells a bit like a deodorant to me. I think I will get some experimone -none next time and try adding other EOs to see if I get a good fit for me that doesn’t smell so “chemical-ish”.
BTW I decanted a 50/50 mix of TUTH/betanol into a to-go, and also made a 33/66 IG/A1 to-go. To the former I added a few drops of patchouli and frankincense EOs. To the latter a few drops of ylang ylang.
Conclusion: Frankincense utterly pwns everything else in solution 1. Ylang Ylang has also added the right note I was looking for to solution 2, to give a decent overall smell. Using these to-gos, I will smell like the inside of a hippy emporium, but that is better than the somewhat harsh scent that TUTH was giving me…
Aha… that’s it! The Turn Up The Heat smells like a deodorant complete with the BO that is is covering probably , that’s why I thought of a deodorant. The neroli smells like something remedial that is covering something darker and more heavy.

It’s weird because I’ll often go out with 1 spray of ammo on and a 4 hours later go to the bathroom and put a spray of turn up the heat on and when I go back I’lll get compliments on how I smell.
My own sense of smell is pretty poor actually. But it’s very weird how people are not only not bothered by the weird scent, but are seemingly pleased by it on a subconscious level, I guess. I have not had any comments, good or bad, about the smell. However, my friend (female) did take a good 20 seconds sniffing my neck, big deep breaths and all, when we had a hug. I had 4 drops of A314 on - and the rest! (I had a big old combo on that day). It was like my neck was covered in lines of coke or something, LOL.
And of course TUTH is purely -none while Ammo is a blend, might have something to do with how the girls react to the smell in a way. The “excited and confused” aspect might be buffered somehow by the other phero components, just a guess.
That is also the same for me. With turn up the heat people are curious. Maybe it is because the girls are already aroused and want to see if they lean closer the effects will spread on. People do comment more on the smell of me with turn up the heat because it smells like a mystery product. Ammo i get the regular comment “you smell good what cologne are you wearing.”
Yeah thats it. Compliments from ammo are all like “whats that cologne it smells really nice” but with turn up the heat I’m sure they can’t smell 1 or 2 sprays of neroli from 6 feet away so they become confused as to why they think I smell good.
