Okay so the other day I was getting with a girl and she asked me what the hell i was wearing because i smelled so damn good. I was at a loss for what to say so I said something about a mixture of calvin klein and something that I couldn’t recall because I didn’t just straight up tell her i was wearing mones. What do you guys say when asked what you are wearing?
I either say the cover scent I’m wearing or just say, “a good smelling man just smells good 
”.
Start a convo about colognes too. I’ve even mentioned androtics as a “boutique” cologne shop out of Beverly Hills.

Yeah that’s a tough one. I’ve had lots of girls ask me. Even one girl call herself a cologne expert and tried to guess (wrong might I add).
When asked, I say “just some no name cologne I found called Andronics”. And hope that they don’t google it haha.
Always worth remembering:
Neroli is very common scent indeed and is used on its own or in a variety of colognes. you can safely name it.
F21 - Ammo, is often likened to Creed’s Green Irish Tweed. Which is useful if only for the up-market associations. Google the price! 
Akuto has been likened to a slightly less sweet version of YSL’s Body Kourous.
I haven’t been asked, but I’ve thought about it. It depends on what I’m wearing:
- If it’s a product with numbers, I’ll just say that I’m testing out colognes for a company online. This one doesn’t have a name yet, but the code name is MX297. (Also a great opportunity to put it right up to her nose)
- If it’s tuth, I’ll just say the word “t u t h”
- Anything else (i.e. AMMO), I’ll just answer without really answering. “It’s pretty good, isn’t it?”
This came up the other night, my friends roommate asked what I was wearing after my friend said something about cologne. He told me he really liked it but couldn’t place it, he guessed something by ralph lauren, smiling I answer nope, he then says its not (something I dont remember) and then he started.
I just turned to him and told him it was something custom, that I have been testing colognes before they are released and that it was one I was fond of. His immediate response was to turn to my friend and ask why they weren’t doing that.
My friend is the only person I’ve told about mones so it was funny to see his reaction as I tell this to his roommate.
While I’ve been complimented before by friends to the point of a girl telling me how much she loved what I was wearing, or “Tacarov, you smell SOO good” I’m not often asked what exactly it is. Lucky for me I suppose.
Just make up some bullshit. Polo has enough colognes that that’s all you have to say; “Polo.”
Neroli: I say Clinique Happy for Men.
Akuto: Burberry London
Ammo F22: I say Green Irish Tweed (Neiman Marcus sells it)
My wife hates the smell of Akuto, so Neroli is all I wear nowdays.
