What does “letting your pheros composite” mean?
Basically to let them mix and “get to know” one another.
well, I figured that much lol but how long do you let it composite? is the length of time different for different molecules? Some people put it in the fridge.. Doesn’t that slow the speed of the molecules therefore decreasing the rate at which they mix? And why can’t you just shake the damn bottle? What exactly does time do, that physical shaking doesn’t do?
Its more like a ritual. There is no exact tried science to it (at least amongst the regular users). It’s a safeguard that I practice. Rule of thumb is about 7 days normally but sometimes I’ll just leave it for 5 and sometimes up to 14 days. It depends on how I feel about it.
If you aren’t mixing that many things together I wouldn’t be too concerned with letting it sit for a long time (like 3-4 things) It’s a lot less technical than your trying to discern. IF you don’t find compositing feasible don’t do it then. I’ve never really compared doing it vs not doing it. As for the fridge I’ve only done that once and the cap ended up being stuck to the bottle and I had to use a bottle opener to crank the thing off lol. I think letting anything age (not just mones) is always better than mixing it and simply using it right off the bat. We’re certainly not making Koolaid here.
composite is just a fancy word for mix.
The word mix can get really confusing in here so we tried to use other words like composite so new people would not get confused. It didnt catch on though LOL
Technically
Mix or composite is to mix single molecule pheromones in one bottle.
Layer and combo is what you do with the products that are already mixed like Io Ishine TUTH etc etc … You shouldnt mix those in the same bottle because they are at the correct ratio and balance already.
When ever someone describes a mix or combo and your not sure always ask so you dont end up wasting mones.
