What makes pheromones more useful?

Pheromones aren’t the total answer for some people. They’re certainly a catalyst, even seemingly essential for some, but pheromones + action is where all the power is.

May I ask… what has helped you most when combined with pheromones?

Also, what do you think of authors like Robert Cialdini, Kevin Hogan, Kenrick Cleveland, Richard Bandler/John LaValle? They all teach broad based persuasion/influence techniques.

On the seduction side of things… How about Ross Jeffries and Archer Sloan? They seem to be the two best, altough Archer has some almost “frightening” marketing.

I’m actually quite impressed with Ross right now, since I ran into an interview with him that absolutely nothing to do with his mainstream work (which involves seduction). Whatever you may think of his “seduction” oriented material, this is quite a brilliant and funny man.

Comments definitely appreciated!

Truthfully?

A 90 dollar haircut.

Haha, good one.

Now is that in terms of generalized influence, or specialized influence (i.e., seduction)?

I know a great hairstyle is almost essential when you’re “playing the field”. If you’re “just dating” and you want women who are “just dating” (meaning, out for sex!), then yes… essential. I don’t know if it matters quite as much when you’re seeking a serious relationship. Some women would preferred you spent the $90 on them than on your hair.

When I was younger, I noticed a friend of mine who like somewhat wild haircuts and had been succeeding in the corporate world had found a found to have a NOTICABLELY different haircut, but still be accepeted. In fact, “suits” would still complement him.

He wasn’t able to explain it, but I studied what he was doing. I was fascinated by how the same people that used to avert their gaze at him, were now accepting him and giving him kudos.

His secret? Get whatever normal “Joe” corporate hairstyle was, but then have just ONE wild or crazy thing about it. Just one. More than that, and he’s a weirdo. Just one, and he’s a pioneer!

I think that haircut story could be applied to everything in life. Add or take away just one thing to whatever people are currently accustomed to and they’re floored. Add or take away multiple things, and they’re puzzled, and maybe even uncomfortable. Everything being new is for babies; the adult world takes new things one step at a time.

Yep. But it’s broader than that. IMHO what makes pheromones work better is - ATTITUDE!

That would then encompas whatever helps you “get into” that attitude. There’s isn’t just one attitude either. The attitude at work would be a different one from the attitude in a club, which in turn is different from the attitude with a close friend, etc. You get my drift.

But I have to agree with the $ 90 haircut - that one works for me as well. It’s whatever makes you feel self-confident and adds to your self-esteem. It could be:

  • that awesome haircut
  • working out so you have the best body you can have
  • clothes that complement the situation/attitude of the moment
  • etc

I’ll call this “Look Ma - no mones!”

The other day we had our first sunny, windy day after a long stretch of rainy, dreary weather. I drove to the convenience store and when I got there, this great song was playing on the radio (I admit I turned it up quite loud). I felt on top of the world.

I left the radio on, ran (not walked) to the door of the convenience store, burst in, gave them my debit card so I could pump gas and went outside again.

When I went back in to pay, I got hits like no pheromones could’ve given me! lol Like I was the life of the party all of a sudden. Even while I was pumping gas, people who came out of the store would look at me with a big smile on their face.

Another thing I think we need to be very mindful of is - to act, dress, project ourselves, etc in accordance to the situation.
What is totally acceptable in one situation can come across as ridiculous in another situation. I don’t need to expand on this, do I?
