I really like her very much and I keep thinking of her all the time. So if I do let her know I like her and I believe she likes me too. What type of pheromones should I use on myself If I decide to get one?
If you are just wanting to know if she likes you, try Instant Openness or Instant Honesty and invite her out for coffee at something like Starbucks. Remember that she needs over 5 minutes exposure to really be effective.
after inviting her for a drink with wearing those stuff what do I say or do? Hey dudes, I am 28 but I never dated a girl before and that girl is 28 and never dated a guy before. She is a very shy and conservative girl.
Right, so your both shy and have never dated before at the age of 28… Good luck I say… Unless theres one person willing to break the deadlock and take the initiative, nothing will happen, and im sorry, but thats usually the guy…
NO! Don’t say I love you yet! Just tell her you’d like to know more about her, then let her talk.Ask probing questions- what does she like to do when she’s off, where does she like to go, then find something that’s fun to do as a couple, but not as fun alone- such as a nature trail walk, cycling in the country. Then invitite her to do things with her. She’ll know you like her if you tell you’d like to spend time with her.
Hang on a second… Monash? Can I ask what your, and your female friends, cultural backgrounds are?
Feel free not to answer - I am not trying to be personal, but something in this is reminding me of the courting patterns a friend of mine talks about. She’s from a very conservative Indian family and things have to be done very differently in her culture.
So, I am only asking because it could really affect the advice we give, some of the approaches I might find acceptable, could be seen as very offensive by some conservative Asian ladies and their families - and indeed from other cultures - for example Middle eastern and some European.
YES!! she likes you. You can relax … stop being so nervous and ask her out! She NEEDS you to take the initiative here so you need to get over your shyness and do what needs to be done. Consider it your mission.
edit: Do NOT tell her you love her on the first date … lordy! Just get to know her, let her get to know you, play with her …
I am a Chinese and she is a Chinese. She come from a conservative background and is extremely shy. One of the most shy girl I came across in my life. She is the most kind and gentle girl I met. She is definitely not the prettiest girl around, but she is the best character girl I met in my life and no girl comes close to her as in good character.
DONT YOU EVEN DARE SAY " I LOVE YOU" till AT LEAST 6 months later.. trust me mate, u dont wanna go down that track just yet…
Maker her earn it…or at least test out the relationship first before you say those words..they are words that should be used sparingly till much much later on…
Speaking just for myself and not for all women, here is my two pence worth on this. (Although I am not so sure on the “earning it” line )
If a man says “I love you” to me, too easily or too early on. I tend to think that the words come very easily to him, and if he says that so easily to me they are words he must throw around lightly and has probably used with lots of girls before and will probably use with lots of girls after me. Personally, I like to feel those words MEAN something to a man and that he has thought long and hard before using them. That he doesn’t tend to throw them away on the wind.
And if I am not sure I feel the same then a guy using them too early on can make me run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
Love is a big deal, doesn’t matter is you are male or female, saying “I love you” to someone, especially for the first time, is also a very big deal. Take a bit of time with it. She’s shy, and a little conservative so let her get to feel comfortable with you before making the big statement.
This doesn’t mean you can’t give her gentle compliments though to build her confidence a bit though.
I agree saying “I love You” immediately is too soon. However, I hope that a lot of people can understand that a lot of Asian countries are just very conservative. Hearing “I Love You” from a guy on a first date may not be so uncommon. It can even happen a lot.
So, my advice is try to talk about something conservative people in that area may talk about. For example, talk about her family and what she thinks about her future plans are. I’m not saying that is what you should be talking about, but hopefully you get the idea.
Instant Openness and Instant Honesty would be a great choice. Stay away from the -none since Asian girls, especially shy ones would not respond well to -nones. Hope this helps.
Well she definately doesn’t hate you, but not sure if she likes you in the way you do with her. I’m Southeast Asian btw and yes, girls from those countries are generally shy and normally would not make the first move. Some of the signs she has shown might not be IOI (ex. asking others how you’re doing after you left, I got that from my other former female co-workers and I don’t think there was any attraction in between).
I’d recommend using Instant Openness in your case since you both are shy, Instant Shine, and possibly Instant Female Magic. I think increasing the amount of conversation (Instant Openness) is more important at first for your case than increasing the quality of the conversation (Instant Honesty). Get her to talk as much as possible and take mental notes.
When you first meet her, you control the conversation by asking questions and let her do most of the talking; 20% speaking and 80% listening for you. Comment on what she says accordingly. Ask about her aspirations and goals. Getting to know her personal life might be interesting as well; what movie she likes, her hobbies and what she likes to do during her free time, etc. Don’t talk about religion (especially in your case and during your first date since you both have different religion), or politics. Take mental notes, and if you get a second date with her reverberate what she said on the first date. This will show her that you listened and you care about her (worked well with some of my Asian girlfriends).
Ask her out on a date, but don’t push it. Take things slow since you said she is conversative. Tell her you like her and would like to get to know her better. Give her some time to think and give her the opportunity to make her own decision about you.
You got some good advice above on mones. I would stick to products like IO and IH , IFM and shine. Take it slow and get to know each other.
I agree to the part about not saying I love you till you get to know each other better.
Now to the EARN IT comment which I just couldnt pass up.
Love is something that is felt and given freely. It is not something that is earned. Respect is something that is earned. Omicronau if that is how you view love thats your choice but never let a girl your interested in know this is how you feel because you will defiantly lose her respect and ultimately lose her.
