I was wondering…What is everybody’s Myspace? Below are links to my pages. The first one is my personal and the second one is my music page.
Im going to listen to your music now
Mines www.myspace.com/fl1psider
I use it for placing pictures on the net along with a page for my fav. music.
Is that Moma or Morna in your musical interests? (You’re into Afropop?)
Good stuff, btw. Thanks for the links.
Godhand u got a nice dj setup that cost you like $2kish?
Morna (mostly from Cape Verde…Cesaria Evora, for example)
I’m also into Afropop. Thanks.
That DJ set up cost about:
$600 for the turntables and mixer
$300 for the amp
$350 for the speakers
$??? for the wax
$100 for the lights
For most of my gigs, I’ve gone digital now. I got tired of carrying around 5 or 6 crates of vinyl to casual gigs where they didn’t even need me to scratch. My current set-up will fit in the backseat of an SUV.
Cool track by Squarepusher. They got alot of cool tracks that get played from time to time on Beyond Jazz (XM Radio).
I like that Digital Blasphemy pic you got in the background. One of my favorites.
Thought so. Cesaria’s amazing (but not so nice, unfortunately).
Ever listen to Fantcha?
Re: Afropop…goin’ to see Salif Keita this week. Woohoo!
Nice page. I love Mr. Squarepusher.
I agree. I’m all about facebook!
BTW, that’s a pretty cheap setup lol.. i thought you had more expensive shit… 's all good
Ordered most of it out of Musician’s Friend when they were running a special.
Yeap
Mate I love your music
Squarepusher does kick some serious ass. lol
Godhand, it seems like you’re keeping it on lock down as well.
Yo flip, how do you make those imbedded media players? Oh, and props on the infected mushroom.
Not quite in the same vein as Cesaria Evora or Afropop, but related…
Susana Baca, a Peruvian singer. She can be found on myspace. Plaintive delivery, gorgeous voice, simply amazing.
Oh and well…since we’re talking about DJing, I’ll bite
uhm, theres this simply amazing site where you can stream most songs out there for free and you can even make your own playlist and embed that or just 1 single song at a time (which I did but multiple). RADIO.BLOG.CLUB
And yeah, Infected Mushroom all the way
