Where does the "human pheromone" ingredient come from: humans, and if so, from who?

Just curious… where does the ingredient “human pheromone” come from??? Humans??? If so, from who!!!

Is that a stupid question? lol.

No, they’re synthetic. Lab-created. That’s all I know, because I think it’s all the layman can really understand…somehow, they manage to create chemicals that mimic the effects of human pheromones. shrug

laurie, the layman can understand quite alot about thier manufacture, you dont have to be a chemistry phd to understand how they are synthesized, if you do a search on the LS forum, there have been members who have successfully made thier own synthetic pheromones using raw androgens

synthetic pheromones come from androgens (steroids) which in turn are petroleum derivitives, all the chemist does is tweak the androgens to achive the desired molecular structure that resembles our own natural pheromones, ie, nol, none, rone etc etc

making synthetic pheromones is not rocket science, the exact step by step science and the equipment used can be found on google

what i found interesting is the quality of a pheromone, not only comes from the quality of the androgens but from the equipment used and the skill of the manufacturer, anyone can make pheromones using a glass beaker and bunson burner, but the good stuff come from reputable manufacturers, Stone Labs (the creator of SOE and Alter ego, stone labs have a photo of thier Laboratory and the type of Equipment used, they are a pretty transparent company) and i assume Androtics is good.

I wouldn’t consider that average-level skill, Google or no. You can Google plenty of things that the average person would not be able to recreate.

Understanding and doing are to different things. I understand how open heart surgury is done but I cant do it myself. Its dangerous to believe that just because you understand something your qualified to do it. Hell I know people who cant bake a cake let alone mix chemicals so its not something everyone can do. If your making your own bronzie I say more power to ya because I think it does take some talant.

Stone labs is a good company although there products dont work for me as well as Androtics but I think you should give them and yourself, if your making them, more credit for what they do. If any Tom, Dick or Harry could just buy some equipment and start mixing there wouldnt be much need for Stone labs or Androtics.
