Which mixing bottle?

Ok, I’m confused. Which 30mL empty bottles should I buy? The ones with Perfumer’s Alcohol or the ones with Dipropylene Glycol? I’m mainly going to be mixing CTTM2, IS, and IFM in them. As I have read on these forums, they say the DPG diffuses faster, but is better than alcohol. Or is diluent even necessary? Can someone please expand?

Also, which do I mix into which?

And my final question is, would a 2:1:1 mixture of CTTM2, IS, IFM be fine or would it be advised to have a 1:1:1 mixture?

Thanks.

I would just get an empty botte and mix the CTTM2, IS and IFM straight. Get a pipette for decanting.

And with your ratios, be fine for what? What are you trying to achieve?

So no need to get the alcohol? Then what’s the purpose of it?

And what I mean for the ratio is would it be better to have more drops of one spray then the others in the bottle? That way one is stronger or should they all be equal strength? For example, IS would have 40 drops, IFM would have 20, and CTTM2 would have 20.

Alcohol and DPG are for diluting things that are too strong otherwise. For instance, EW (Essence of Woman) is an extremely concentrated product, and it needs to be diluted before use (for any SANE person… some women use it straight. ) If I wanted to use something other than water to reduce the chance of getting bacterial growth in it, I’d use the alcohol. But these products are already mixed to usage strength, and adding alcohol would only weaken them.

I understand what you mean for the ratios. The question of what is better in what ratio is up to you.

I wouldn’t start mixing things until you had used each product for a week or two and felt you had at least some understanding of how it works by itself. Otherwise, you’ll never understand what they’ll do together. I can usually tell what’ll result before I mix because I understand the components fairly well.

If you insist on mixing right away, you’ll have to do countless experiments to see what does what and which effect you like.

Thanks! That helps alot!

any time.
