You can wear A314 and show you’re an alpha, but who cares, 40th anniversary edition is going to sell regardless, they’re not going to put up with much of a leeway when it comes down to it. Second you’re at the beginning of the month and they aren’t strapped to make their numbers yet, you again have very little leverage.

Your inner game has to be perfect. You have to show interest in the deal, but not really want the car. Don’t go in wanting it. You’re going to have to neg the car man. 
Build rapport quickly. Lead them with yes questions. What’s the public image they are trying to present? Use that stuff to your advantage. You are going to have to change from the buyer to the seller.
