Please only vote if you have got them and after thoroughly testing them. I’d appreciate if you posted your feedback here in one thread as well. It’s easier to harvest the info that way too .

I can completely understand if you want to post privately in the journals, but at least post a link here so your valued feedback does not get lost.

I only posted what I have found so far. Please feel free to quote what you can and post more here. Even if you want to keep your individual threads going just link back to here. It just makes life so much more easier for me . I guess I’m just lazy

FF22: Once the top note faded, the first thing I noticed was that it had a sweetness very similar to grapefruit. I wonder if that would be the diffusion package. After I found this sample to be floral, almost like potpurri. It had the quality of being feminine and in the season of spring. To me, it seemed like perfume, and not cologne. Rated: B

I wonder how it would cover the -none in ammo. Also, as I remember from testing the original ammo scent, I wonder how the smell association with -none would link together smell and effect. The smell of the old Ammo was masculine, and I think it associated well with the -none. This one may be too feminine for introducing new users to pheromones, however I’m sure the veterans would enjoy the option to use this as a scent additive to their pheromones.

Additional notes: on drydown smelled like wine??? i like the smell of wine, however I doubt how much I would like this scent in a high number of sprays. I could see it as having a “cloying” quality.

FF21: This scent smells soapy, yet unique. Similar to a department store cologne, and certainly cologne, not perfume. The floral note is light, and although there is a degree of sweetness, this is a fair departure from FF22. I would say this one is closer to game. I like the smell and think this one would associate itself brilliantly with game. err, I meant to write -none there but I guess it will work with game too!!! Season: Summer Rated: A

Additional notes: On dry down smells like something from nautica. another one that could be overpowering with many sprays.

FF20: FINALLY, a sandalwood scent!!! This one smells like incense and is completely delicious. I would love to wear this with pheros or without them. I think it would mix delightfully with with androstenone and make a powerful combo. It has a quality of being unlike most things you could find in a department store and is neither too strong nor too weak. Season: Fall/Autumn Rated: A+

This will be my choice for the new ammo scent. I loved it!!!

Excellent writeups! Very good descriptions of the scents.

I’m holding off voting until Saturday afternoon or evening when I’ve had the opportunity to wear all three for a full day.

Next up today, FF21 (my favorite from the bottle).

Evolver, if you don’t mind my asking- How old are you? (or what age range do you fall into such as 18-30, 31-35, 36-40, 40+?) I’m just curious. Thanks!

I’m twenty-six.

I’m glad none of these make me sneeze like akutchooooooo!!!
Vangelis also reported that it made his nose itchy.

I thought I’d test these too even though I am a girl…I got them in my order so I figured I’d give you a womans perspective  I would just like to say though that I am rather picky with my after shaves/colognes…

FF20 - The only one I could stand pretty much. I wouldn’t say I love it, but I don’t dislike it either. It’s a bit meehhh…Not offensive but to me it smells fresh like a guys shower gel or anti-perspirant. If I met a guy wearing this I wouldn’t be put off but I also wouldn’t buy a scent like it for a boyfriend…I’d buy something that would make me want to keep sniffin

FF21 - Not horrible, but not great either. Quite citrusy to me but not in an after shave/cologne way…It smelled like toilet cleaner to me. I think I kind of dislike this one because the air fresheners at my current hospital just reek of this stuff… If I met a guy smelling like this I wouldn’t avoid him but he would struggle to keep my attention because he’d just make me think of work…

FF22 - This one I just can’t do at all! It was really harsh and alcoholic smelling at first but even after dry down it’s has something really sharp and chemical smelling about it. It smells like the fly spray my dad used when I grew up… If a guy smelling like this tried to chat me up he definitively wouldn’t get far…

That’s why we sent them out to you . We respect and value your opinion and having a woman’s perspective is great.

Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming. Perhaps even have some of your babe friends sample the scents too

Oh! Great idea! I’ll do that, there’s still plenty left

Gamesundeight!

Alriiiight, you are one of the few guys I’ve run across under the age of 30 that I know who’ve smelled FF20 and liked it at least as much as FF21.

I think they are both winners.

I have not read anyone elses review of these scents. Blind Test.

FF20-I think it smells alot like Polo. I wore it in high school to seem older. Now that I’m older, I think it smells like something my grandfather would wear. Woodsy, heavy, and strong. I think this would be very hard to cover. The scent could be very strong at 3 sprays, but might be really good for diffusion.
EDIT: Too strong. At one spray its like… in my clothes. I just got out of the shower and I can still smell it on me. I keep catching wiffs of it on my couch and everything.
Edit: This is very, very strong at 3 sprays. This would be VERY hard to cover, and seems to be a bit overpowering.

I would not want to wear this as a stand alone scent.

I dont see this scent appealing to woman under the age of 40.

FF21-Light and cool(temperature wise), subtle and fruity. After drydown, a very citrusy note remains. Not bad. It would probably be easy to cover. Its ok. I do feel like I might want to find a cologne to cover it. The citrus notes are high. Maybe fruit tart-ish. Summer-like. After complete drydown…a citrus dandylion necter. Im sorry I have to say this, i’m getting a bit of a floor cleaner scent here.

**Note-**I covered it with Very Sexy for Men just to see how it would be. It covers it quite nice.

FF22-It seems to smell like bug spray, like the orange can of CUTTER or OFF. Very soapy potporri. Flowery and purfume-ish. Its not the “old” AMMO scent but it is in the same ballpark. After drydown, a little bit of the bug spray scent has gone away and has left a scent a potporri jar. I smeel like an old ladies car air freshner. I dont think I like it. At all. Powdery, feminine. No, i dont like this. I could see woman over 40 liking this…as a new perfume for themselves.

If I had to pick one, I would pick FF21. I would not walk into a store and buy it, but I would be able to cover it. I dont think the other 2 could be covered easily, and would not want to wear them regularly.

We are supposed to be honest here so I am going to be. I wear AMMO everyday to work, and I really would not want to wear any of these as my signature, everyday scent. Could I wear FF21 for the advantages that phero’s bring me, yes, but I would cover it. Honestly, I wish it was still Game scented. Game is the only scent I have used from AD that I would walk into a store and buy.

Thank you to AD for giving me the privilege of testing these new scents. It can’t be easy to come up with a scent to appeal to the masses. I appreciate your effort, and love the idea of you releasing them to us for feedback. Other companies would not go that far. Again, thank you.

Jesse

FF21

I spent the day wearing this and I really do like it. It still reminds me quite a bit of Green Irish Tweed which I happen to love. I went phero free again (AAAAARG- Withdrawals!) so that I could judge the scent on its own merits. Today was a totally different environment than yesterdays (I had clients today) so the test isn’t exactly the same. I did get 3 women (all under 32 years old) one hispanic and 2 caucasian who told me that I really smelled nice- without me bringing up the subject at all. (Gotta admit, I did find myself sniffing my wrists a few times and thinking how good I smelled.)

Judging this just as potentially the next Ammo scent I think it would work very well. I really liked this on my skin. Started out very sharp, citrus-y and very slightly floral. I’ve had this on for just over 8 hours at this point and it has evolved into a more citrus/floral scent that is still manly enough (at least for me) By this time the floral aspects have really come forward.

I do believe it could be pretty easily covered with another scent. I wore 3 sprays today (1 to each side of the neck and one split between the wrists) and like my FF20 experience it was STRONG at first but after 20 or so minutes it REALLY dried down nicely and stayed a pretty consistant strength for about the next 4-6 hours.

Apologies to jessejester because I know how much he liked the Game scent but there were a lot of MX’s that I held off on getting because I just couldn’t stomach the game scent. I hope one of these works for him the way the old Game scent did or the way Akuto does for me.

Thank you Snoop, but its all good. I understand the need to have a scent thats liked by more people. Its just good business. If I end up not liking the scent, I can find a cologne that is similiar to Game, buy some unscented phero’s, and make it myself. Im pretty sure I have an idea of whats in AMMO. No big deal, but i will miss Game very much.

Had my wife test these, mind you she’s very picky with cologne/perfume but she seemed to prefer FF20 out of the three, but then she said that it smelled better at initial spray compared to the dry down. She thought FF21 was meh, and she didn’t even like FF22. So hm, tough! However, now that jessejester mentioned it FF20 does smell like Polo Sport in a way, but I can still smell some oriental characteristics to FF20, but then again I’m no perfume expert so I’m just going by what I think.

If I had it my way, I would go with two AMMO scents, FF20 and FF21. One could be aimed for younger guys (FF21) with the other one (FF20) being aimed for a more mature crowd. FF22 the more I smell it the more it smells like chemicals, or something you’d smell at a salon or barber shop after being sprayed with hair spray or something. I mean it still has a sweet side to it that makes me reconsider this choice, but the first two are safer.

I was trying to remember what cologne I wore in high school that FF20 reminded me of. I was trying to decide if it was Xeryus but it has been so long I can’t remember for sure.

I really liked FF20 but I have a feeling it would be very difficult to cover if someone wanted to. It’d have to be more of its own cologne (like I use Akuto now). FF21 (especially after it dries down) seems like it’d be pretty easy to cover (but I’d probably use it by itself). Both FF20 and FF21 (at least for me) seem to have quite the longevity.

I don’t know if it would be feaseable for them but I do like the idea of the two scents. Tomorrow I’m trying FF22 but from what I’ve smelled on the card, I don’t know that I’ll make it all day.
