So then when wo go reporting what happened, then you will decide if we are able to join the advanced club? like after 1 thread of continuos reporting on a putative or test mix (for example)?
After that we will have access to the lower prices? Maybe some people will buy 1 experimone post away gain access and not post anymore.
What about for example noobs buy one or two experimone/putative/etc then after a good log you issue a GC or discount code for the difference, then after 4 or 5 good logs then they gain access to the advanced forum.
Do you think this could work? I would love to start experimenting
What about logs about consumer products can they gain you access to the advanced forum?
The posts are reviewed every month. So suppose your posting on your products consumer or advanced and participating in the forum steveO will move you up to the advanced prices.
Then suppose you buy a bunch of advanced but dont report on those. You can still lose that status and have to pay the higher price for the advanced again.
Keep in mind this is just not about forum members. The store has alot of customers who never even join the forum or who just read it but never post. This gives those people the opportunity to still purchase and remain quiet if this is what they wish.
It also generates funds so that new experiments and putatives can be offered and alot of the older ones we loved and have been waiting for can come back.
Your ideal is a good one but is alot of work, Androtics is a small company that has grown rapidly in the last year.

Well another very simple thing to get more feedbacks can be done by any of us. Just pay a little more attention to the reports that are in the forum. I often see many very good and detailed feedback for various products, but there are nearly no one who reply to it. Some newbies have really good first feedback but very few replies or rep point. They probably think that their awesome post aren’t good and won’t post again
First hand experience here, I posted, a very long time ago about some new mix that I got as freebies when I first joined, but I thought it was pretty unuseful since no one read it or reply to it, so I stop reviewing for a while. Now thinking back, I understand that we should make this place as comfortable as possible for new members so they can post and keep posting 
That is maybe the reason that we sometimes lose new members. I remember a while ago, people post about their testing results but the replies aren’t abundant or encouraging, and we never saw them again. I didn’t realize how important of a role I can play by myself, simply by participating in the reports of others, only a few respected members did. It is not too late now!
A little effort from all of us to participate and encourage others will definitly make the forum better and also helps Androtics get a lot more reviews

Well here it is 530 am and can’t sleep, my brain will not shut down.
I have an idea, it might help to get more reports of tests of products.
I there a way that you can put a check box or something on a post that will flag a post as a test? If so it could carbon copy the post to a folder that the people needing the results could readily find it. Any future replies to the original posts would not need to go to them just the original flagged post.
That would mean less searching for test results. It also means that a test result could be posted anywhere and it would not get missed. If the original post creates interest and someone else does a test and posts his as a reply it could still be flagged as a test and not lost in a long thread.. see Mad Taters journal which is awesome in my opinion and everyone should read it, even if just for entertainment. Ok now I put that down in writing can I please go to sleep?

Yeah, very good point by mockingbird. There’s so many posts, so many journals that sometimes people get “lost through the cracks.” A little encouragement for reporting goes a long long way. Only reason I keep updating my journal or get involved is cause of Renny, Phya, Mocking who have looked at my reports and gave me feedback/comments on my results. Otherwise I would have stopped posting. Rep points may be nice, but for me, I’d really rather have great constructive criticism or advice. And I’d spam Phya with rep points but I have to spread the love. =/
I am a little confused. Some of these products have been around a long time. If you’ve used them and posted about them, but not for awhile because you already have, you now have to pay double to continue using them?
I only have so much money and couldn’t do much of anything due to medical expenses for a number of months. So if you haven’t posted, you have to pay double to continue using what you’ve been using and posted about previously?
No, Did you get a advanced letter?? I know you posted about the products you use so that shouldnt be a issue. Log into your account at smartmones and let me know if the prices are the same for you. You have to log in or you will see the higher prices.

Yes, I logged in. They were higher. I didn’t get an advanced letter. And I am out of my number one sure-fire phero, which is TaL. I probably should post on that even though I have because I have done a lot of experimenting with dosage.
I will mention it to steveO, The list was huge and we did have alot of members who didnt post in months so he had to make judgement calls on some names. Its Saturday night so he is probably out arousing the ladies tonight but I am sure he will see your post and like I said I will mention it.

Something I also wonder about is what ultimately happens with the test mixes. Everybody seemed to love Instant Sunshine, or at least most of the series, and there have been others that were reported on extensively and were popular - but eventually they go away and then what?

Well VKat, I do totally agree with you, there are mixes that we have been waiting for to come back and I have talked to steveO about this to. I think with the new system in place it will free up some time and resources so that they can begin to release test mixes again or so I am told.
Remember they were selling the putatives and the experimones at cost. Sometimes when those are being bought up they just dont have enough to use to make the mixes. Making the consumers is a priority because that was there profit center and if they cant make a profit they cant stay in business.
Alot of exciting things have been happening behind the scenes that I really am not at liberty to discuss here but the bottom line is now with the price changes they have the time and resources to make those exciting things come to pass.
Hopefully this will result in the return of some of the beloved mixes we have reported on in the past. Prehaps under a new name

I don’t think that’s the spirit this system will be operated in. Tisha was making an example that if they saw a new member who purchased a couple of products and started reporting on them and bumped them to the advanced level, then never saw another report, they could tell that the user only did so for access to the lower pricing and they could revoke the advanced status.
You have been around since December 2006 and have almost 200 postings. I could be wrong, but knowing how big hearted the good folks at Androtics are, I really don’t think they are going to expect you to pay the higher price, or prove yourself again.
If you weren’t given the advanced status alreeady, I have a feeling that it’s because it was a huge effort for SteveO to go through all users, and since you had not posted in several months he did not know whether you were coming back. PM SteveO and I have a feeling that he will probably agree to give you the advanced status.
Hi, everyone! I have also, like vkat been posting on all of the products that I have bought, and that is many! But I see that the prices are higher for me too. I know that I have not been in this forum more than 6 weeks, but I was just getting started. It is a little discouraging to have to pay double for the next products, when I really feel that I am doing a good job in reviewing androtics products…
Its may be discouraging for some but its encouraging for other as the posted reports have doubled since the change already. There are certain new members who have posted alot of reports and we have them on the watch list. This is a list of potential advanced users. Just keep posting and before you know it you will be advanced. Your on the list by the way.
Oh and Its nothing to do with doing a bad job posting your reports but steveO has to start somewhere and this is the plan that he and Jasmin went with instead of the origonal plan which was to not allow any newbies to by advanced unless they were invited to do so.

Well, That is good news! I think it is great that newbies can also buy the advanced products. And I am glad to hear I may not be ordering and posting a whole year before I get to buy products to do more testing.
