Just got my first order in this morning. I had ordered one each of the TOGOs and a regular size Instant Gentleman. I was happy to see I also got a couple of extras, IS & Turn Up The Heat. Unfortunately I also discovered that, instead of the Instant Gentleman that I primarily wanted to experiment with, I got an IMF. I’ve submitted a support ticket and waiting for SteveO’s reply.

Apologies in advance if i get too wordy and personal but I feel more comfortable to reveal a bit more about myself in this private forum, beyond what I mentioned in my intro thread.

I have been married for almost 25 years and was dating my wife since I was 20. In the past few years we have drifted apart and even sleep separately. In this past year alone the relationship has turned very hostile, possibly because our son left for college and there are no “buffers” left. In the rare times we actually talk in a semi-civilized manner, the “D” word has come up and I’m on the brink of initiating legal separation proceedings. Just for that reason alone, I do not intent to begin any new romantic relationships, I just want to dust off my social skills and make a conscious effort to get out of the house more. As I mentioned in the other thread, the fact that I work from home doesn’t make the situation any easier (she hasn’t worked in over 22 years so we’re constantly around each other).

For the aforementioned reasons, I wanted to make IG the base of my experimentation, eventually combined with other socials, but I guess it will have to wait.

In the next post, I will write a few things about my first phero usage.

So, the DHL guys arrives as I’m leaving for a doctor’s appointment. I think to myself, this is as good time as any, might as well start now. Not having the IG, I decide to use IS. 1 spray to the chest, one to the throat and a little rub to the upper lip. Now, realize that all this is happening in my car (not moving yet), with me fumbling many TOGOs while being late for the appointment.To my dismay, I discover that I’ve applied IH instead! Without thinking, I apply x1 IS to chest, instantly breaking my intention of not mixing anything for at least the first few weeks. Anyway, what is done is done, so I pull out of the driveway.

Within a few hundred yards, I reach for a cigarette from the pack on the seat next to me. Somehow I manage to break the cigarette in two, while pulling it out of the pack. This is somewhat odd and has never happened to me before, but I’ll chalk it up to my being late and the general rush and excitement of doing something new in my life. The 30 minute trip to the doctor is fairly uneventful, other than me trying to make up for lost time (I always speed anyway) and a general impression of slightly greater than usual clarity and depth perception (it’s a bright sunny day and this is most likely coincidental).

I arrive late and nothing unusual happens with the receptionist. The nurse who guides me to the examination room is perhaps more chatty than usual. While waiting for the doctor, I realize my heart is beating fast. I check my pulse, and it’s in the 80s. I’m not a fit man, but this is quite a bit higher than my normal. Contrary to that, I notice that I’m sitting calm and still in the room, not fretting or becoming impatient (I hate waiting). Anyway, the doctor finally arrives and the session ends up being twice as long as usual (this is supposed to be a cursory exam and prescription refill). During the exam, he proceeds to recount something he watched on TV with his wife the other night. I’ve seen this doctor 3 times in the past 4 years and he never even mentioned he was married. Of all the events up to that point, I would characterize that as the closest to a legit hit.

To wrap things up, when I got home I ended up getting some more IS in my hands because the bottle was leaking laying on its side (perhaps I didn’t close it very tightly?). As I walk back into the house, I realize I’m sweating quite a bit, something that I don’t normally do, especially when I’m not exerting myself. I read something about that in the forums and I’ll be sure to drink more water than usual.

This evening I have a weekly language class at the local community college. It’s a small class, three other men, one woman, all adults in their 30s and 40s. The teacher is probably late 50s+. I plan to shower and put something on for class, prolly IS unless I get other suggestions before then. I will report back tonight, If I run into anything worth mentioning.

Language class is cool. Check over in my journal “outta my shell”. Great fun place to test pheromones. It can take some time to realize what is going on with pheromones but we older guys seem to have an easier time getting the hang of using them than the youngsters. Best to ya!

Thanks Renny, I did quite a bit of forum reading this weekend. Loads of info! I really enjoyed reading your journal, although your class was more interesting in every possible way! Heck, I somehow even managed to read the entire Tater journal, so yours was small peanuts by comparison :smiley:

The very first time I had similar reactions to you. Heart was racing with IS. When I put on AMMO my heart sometimes goes a million miles an hour and I feel like I might be about to pass out if I don’t do something active to go with my heart rate. It’s somewhat like an adrenaline rush. The pheros take a lil while to get use to. You’ll be addicted to IS like the rest of us soon enough. :smiley:

I’m truly sorry to hear about your situation with your wife. I hope things really do turn out better in the future.

Thanks for the kind remarks, Zeph. Perhaps me receiving the Instant Female Magic by accident was a sign from God :slight_smile: because it may help to take the edge off at home. I’ve told SteveO I don’t mind keeping the Instant Female Magic, as long as I get some Instant Gentleman For Men soon.

BTW, I should mention that my wife is Chinese, the language class is Japanese and my direct boss is Korean.

mmm well, maybe the IMF wasn’t such a bad thing. IMF is supposed to work well on asians, especially koreans.

you might want to try out Gentleman + AMMO/TUTH. Gentleman will give you a cooler vibe, and the AMMO can help bring that sexual attraction. If you’re trying to get into the scene, the products you have work wonders. I’ve been DYING to find an excuse to buy a bottle of Honesty but I’ve been waiting for ages on MX103 and MX200.

Like I said, I want to stick with the socials for now, especially outside the home. Perhaps I’ll try the LTR/dating ones (thanks for the Instant Female Magic recommendation) soon but stay away from heavy sexual, at least until I have a clearer picture of where my life is headed. Instant Gentleman was at the top of my list, but unfortunately wasn’t in the package.

Brief report from tonight (with Instant Shine to wrists/forearms and back of the head, 2 total): We were only 3 people in class and nothing much happened, other than that the guy directly in front of me spent most of the class with his chair turned 90 degrees and was chattier than usual. Also, I was growing tired towards the end and caught the other guy yawning a couple of times too.

Tomorrow will prolly be a phero rest day for me; I have work to catch up with and don’t plan to go out. Next report should be Thursday night.

Hey, welcome to the journals.

I think IG would be good in your case. I think IG is well accepted by East Asian cultures. Although, if you’re primarily looking to make things smoother with your wife, I think IMF is a more effective choice, tho perhaps limited in applications. I find Instant Honesty to be really good, in almost any situation.

Thanks for the tips, Phya. I don’t interact with my wife much anymore, but I can see IFM coming handy in volatile situations.

Order mix-up update: April is sending me the missing IG, along with some P74. Androtics rocks! With service like that, how can one not be a customer for life?

I got a really good hit once with IG and p74. :smiley: Look for it in my journal. Short, not too much substance, but it might give you ideas on how to try p74.

A bit of a skirmish with the wife this morning. After that, I had to go to pick her up from the repair shop in a few minutes so I decide to try Instant Female Magic. 1.5 sprays on wrists/forearm (I have to remember to spray closer, otherwise some of the spray is wasted). The smell is not the same as the usual neroli, so I cover it up with 1x Instant Shine, also to forearms. A few minutes in the car after I pick her up, things definitely calm down.

To this point, she still hasn’t commented on any unusual scents, even though she has a keen sense of smell. I did have a cigarette on the way to pick her up, to cover things up and had the windows down (she hates my smoking).

So far, I’m very satisfied with my pheros :slight_smile:

It’s time for my weekly Japanese language social gathering this evening. It will be a small one today: 3 Caucasian males (30s, early 40s and 70), and 2 females (Japanese early 30s married and Chinese in her 20s). I’m particularly interested in getting closer to the 1st woman, not for romantic but for purely selfish reasons, i.e. to be able to see her outside the group to practice my Japanese. I’ve already developed a relationship with her via daily longish emails, but I’d like to make the bond stronger.

My future base will be Instant Gentleman but, since I don’t have it yet, I’ll have to make do without it. Here’s what I’m thinking: 2x Instant Shine, 2x Instant Openness. Possibly one Instant Honesty and/or Instant Female Magic. Your thoughts and suggestions, including spray locations, are welcome.

ETA, to update the 1st paragraph: The Japanese girl replied positively via email, before even being exposed to any pheros, to giving me lessons outside the group, in exchange for helping her improve her English. All I need to do now is re-enforce that commitment :slight_smile:

Amazing! After the last post (it still hasn’t gone through moderation), DHL delivered the Instant Gentleman and P74! Totally unexpected, because I thought it would be mailed normally. Major props to April and company!

So, I’m definitely trying the IG tonight. I realize that I should stick with that alone to get a better idea on what it does to/for me but, if anyone recommends something to add, I will reluctantly accede :smiley:. Options include what I mentioned in the previous post, plus the P74 (which was recommended as an appropriate companion to IG earlier).

Cool, let us know how it goes. You went IG solo or comboed?

I haven’t decided yet. I guess the prudent thing to do would be to go solo, probably x2. I’m open to suggestions.

I decided to go with x2 Instant Gentleman, one each to upper chest and back of the neck/head, spread around with wrists and forearms. At the last moment I decided to top off with x1.5 Instant Shine (still not very accurate with the togo) to back of the neck, since I’m already somewhat familiar with the IS effects. In hindsight I should’ve probably kept the Instant Shine off, because I did not see clear results. I will probably try Instant Gentleman only next time.

At the meeting, of the two girls only the Japanese woman showed up, I’ll call her W from now on. The only somewhat unusual thing that happened was that the 70 year old gentleman monopolized the discussion (he was after all by far the most skilled in Japanese of the Caucasians present) although 95% of the conversation was in English because most of us are only beginners. We were all sitting around a small table, in close proximity.

After the meeting and on the way to the parking lot, I managed to speak with W for several minutes, something that hasn’t happened before. It may have lasted longer but we were followed by the 30 yr old male who wasn’t saying anything (he’s always very quiet). Shortly after I got home I got an email from W asking me to help her write/edit a paper for school. So, now I have a “date” with her next week, for which I’m stoked. Any suggestions as to what to wear for the occasion are most welcome.

Before that, my next phero use will my weekly 2-3 hour meetings at work on Monday, for which I’m planning to go with x3 Instant Gentleman.

I forgot to mention that after W split off to head for her car, the guy followed me to mine instead of going to his, still not saying anything, and didn’t leave until I opened my door and said goodbye to him. I hope the Instant Gentleman didn’t give off a gay vibe, although I don’t think he is. He just seemed to want to follow me for some reason.
