Acting Gay

Ha! I knew the title would getcha! I once watched a David D video about being cocky and funny and one of the things he mentioned briefly was acting gay for the humor effect. Okay, sounds wierd, I know, but Over the course of a couple of days, I’ve built this routine up where I put on this FLAMING act. It’s with women I work with, and they all know it’s an act, but damned if it isn’t hilarious. I now have a whole gang of chicks at work who all get in in my personal bubble, are all touchy-feely, and just think I’m awesome.

The crux of this is that there’s maybe only one or two that I could actually see myself getting involved with due to an attraction factor on my end. The rest don’t really do anything for me attraction wise, but they’re still cool to amuse. Makes the day go by pretty quickly.

So… if you can do it without slipping towards the ridiculous, include some A314, CTTM2, and some Ammo, and go nuts! The funny thing about the whole thing is I can get away with stuff that would have most people hauled up to HR faster than you can say “Lithen, thweetie, thothe shoeth clash with your blouthe… I mean, whothe your fashion advithor? Thtevie Wonder?”

I do that sometimes. It’s funny. I’ll do it to fuck with my homophobic friends. They get so worked up over it, but I don’t care. It’s funny. I’m comfortable enough with my masculinity to do it.

Lol… Nothing like being at a bar while your buddy is talking to some girl and you walk up, sit next to him, and nonchalantly put your hand on his thigh!

I wrote a thread recently about a girl I met at my friend Jobs house who was a hit and a half. Great evening, and I made it a point to joke like that. Told her things like I was “crashing at Jobs house, but this time, I was going to be the big spoon.” and that “at least I’d be courteous enough to give him a reach around.” and said it in a matter of fact tone. Holy shit, you should have seen the look on her face! Perplexed to say the least. It took her a while to realize I was joking.

Of course, she wanted me even more so after that!

Gay lingo is fun to toss around at hotties.

Oh my Gay! You’re like assolutely ricockulous! I’m for cereals! Skittles!

translation: Oh my God! You are absolutely ridiculous! I’m serious! Bye!

Acting gay can really put a woman’s guard down. There’s nothing that breaks a woman’s personal bubble like a gay man. Thats why they make amazing wing men in social situations.

I forgot to mention that I had a gay co-worker who would go around and gossip with the women and play a little game with them.

He’d ask “Ok, who would you rather nail? This guy, or that guy?” And he would name male coworkers.

The killer thing about that game, is that when someone picked one of us, he’d tell us.

“OMG, that girl totally wants to bang you.”

Co-workers? Sounds like a complaint waiting to happen.:open_mouth:

not at all! I work in a privately owned late-night restaurant filled with sexually driven individuals, the owner being the biggest flirt of all. Everyone flirts with each other. Tickling and spanking happens every day, and customers don’t mind it. Its all apart of the restaurant’s charm. There was even a whip cream fight one time. If I can run around on the roof naked and still keep my job, that tells you what kind of place I work at. Hah.

Dude thats a good. Im soo gonna try that!

I have some gay male friends… but two of them would be humping MY leg, and one lives in Tennessee… so great wing men they may be… (and I agree that they are), but they’re not available to us all. lol One of them begs me not to wear pheromones around him because he says it’s “cruel and unusual punishment”. So when I go hunting females… I usually go alone.

Acting gay is kind of fun, sometimes. And once in a while, just to f*** with a girl’s head, I’ll pretend to be one of those gay men you’d never know was gay unless he told you… it’s hilarious.

Flamer version: “Oooh, sweety, that is just SO delicious on you, the way it brings out your boobies! I wish I had boobies. Let me see those, they look natural, are those real? squeeze squeeze They ARE real! You go out there and knock 'em dead, girl!” smack on butt and shove out to dance floor Amazing what a gay man can get away with…

Another thing you can do that is really very effective for attracting women, and messing with them too, is to have a foreign accent. I can do a fair Irish (fools most Americans, but Irish laugh at me), not sure how good my Scots accent is, Pretty good English for some dialects, and okay German and Australian accents. Australian is hard, though. Anyway, I have had some amazing responses with using a foreign accent, and I mean really serious interest. Couple times, I dropped the accept in the middle of the conversation just to see what would happen… and she would go from rapt wide dilated eyed attention to just completely having lost interest. lol So if you start with an accent, keep it going, guys.

It’s also amazing what a straight guy can get away with if he can remain comfortable in a gay club. I frequented one in my youth, as did a LOT of straight girls, they felt far less threatened and most of the time, came onto a straight guy

Guys, put the homophobic idiot back in his box, get yourself into a gay club and have fun. Just cos they’re gay, doesnt mean they fancy you!

For some reason, I seem to be very attractive to gay men. I wish women were as interested as gay and bisexual men are! Or maybe they are, but just not so aggressive about saying so. lol There’s not really any gay bars around here. Not much of anything around here.

In a bizarre way, that is actually a huge compliment, now, not to preach to the converted, figure out a way to use that attraction to your advantage. All the gay guys I know have hot female friends

I understand and appreciate the compliment… but… I have had it tested and confirmed with large amounts of alcohol… there’s not a drop of gay in me. lol I usually have trouble getting them to understand I’m okay with being friends, but more than that will never happen. Aside from that… you’re right, they do have bevvies of beautiful female friends. Just gotta find one who’s not only interested in ME.

I think diamond was saying that you need to cultivate the gay friendships in order to capitalize on all the babe friends they bring along. The problem with that is getting the point across right away that you are not gay (because, let’s be honest, it’s the first assumption a woman will make about you if you are hanging out with a lot of gay dudes) without coming across as a tool in the process.

Amen. Gay guys know when your gay. Don’t worry, they are still human and more like you than you want to imagine.

Oh, and going to a gay bar is a great way to get free drinks, just don’t show your ass. Um, no pun intended.:o

Ya, they can smell it, mones ya know.

Yeah, most gays generally do know if you’re gay or not. My close friend used to live near the Castro district in SF and I was always walking past the gay bars. Every now and then a guy would come up to, preface whatever he was saying with ‘Now, I know you’re not gay, but..’

But the Bay Area has a large distribution of ‘alternative’ lifestyles, so it might be something I’m really used to. I think a lot of guys have irrational reactions to a guy finding them attractive. It doesn’t mean you’re gay, it just might mean you’ve got great skin…or bone structure..or whatever…

As for accents, I’ve got a California accent, but no one knows. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know a guy who claims he’s gay to the fullest, but always ends up hooking up with some girl. By now, I think it’s clear he’s bi at the least, but he’ll keep telling girls he’s gay until the next morning I guess, when it’s clear he’s not.

not to mention, they have awesome drink specials. 75 cent or dollar well drinks?! I’ll bust out my assless chaps for that! kidding.

lmao!

That was hilarious.

When I lived in Savannah, we had a lot of gay people everywhere. Lots of them were effeminate or flamers, and I didn’t really meet any who were the “could pass for straight” types. We used to go to the drag shows and hang out with them. It was fun, and there were some straight guys who had figured out that hot chicks come to gay bars. My ex used to work with them, so funny. Gay guys have a great sense of humor, from what I can see.

Insert joke drum fill here. Ha, ha now that was funny!

Now be fair, jim should know, not many men would wear MX106 around gay friends. The rest is just rumours
