I purchased a To-Go bottle of Instant Shine several weeks ago, and had road-tested it a few times without much success. I got the 2X strength, so I only used 2 spritzes: one on my wrists (which I then rubbed onto my neck and upper lip for self effects), and one to my hair. I went to school like this several times, but got neither any distinct hits nor self effects. Since I had such good luck with MX300, though, I didn’t worry about it and figured that not every pheromone works with every person.
Well! I ran out of MX300 several days ago and my new shipment isn’t here yet. Yesterday morning, I reached for the Shine while getting ready for school, since I just wanted to wear something. Without thinking, I applied it in the same way that I apply MX300: 2 shots to the wrist (wiping the second shot around mouth for self-effects), 1 shot to neck, and 2 shots to hair. Only as I was leaving the house did I realize: since I got my Shine in 2X, I had just effectively given myself 10 shots!!! I would have washed off, but I was concerned that I could be late, so I just decided to show up with an OD to see what would happen.
All I can say is, I guess I just need a lot more Shine than most people! I actually felt… well… shiny! I felt like a beautiful person: lovely hair, shiny eyes, pink full lips. I felt confident and sunny and smart. I got into a cramped elevator full of students, chirped a “hello,” and realized people were staring at me. I checked my outfit (fine: jeans and college sweatshirt), hair (felt in place), nose & mouth (couldn’t feel a booger/food in my teeth), and once I was sure that there was nothing stare-worthy about my appearance, I concluded that they were in total DIHL mode. In class I knew a lot of the answers and actually had to reel myself in from talking too much-- and that never happens, as I’m often a little insecure. And I felt like people were looking at me admiringly and curiously, like they couldn’t believe how different I was.
Overall, it was a total blast. I guess I just need a much, much stronger amount of Shine than is commonly used, but it absolutely did do the job once I accidentally “OD’d” on it. I’m now thinking that I’ll probably switch b/t Shine and MX300 when I go to school, in order to avoid acclimating too much to one or the other. Shine doesn’t give me that alpha feeling of power that MX300 does, and I do miss that. But Shine makes me feel beautiful and glamorous in a way that MX300 does not-- and that boosts my confidence, too.
