Sorry for the not so clever and slightly obscure thread title, I couldn’t come up with a better name.
I keep on reading about people using pheros abroad and even bringing bottles into clubs etc.
Perhaps I am just being foolish and this is an extraordinarily dumb question, but how? If you get searched how do you explain the bottles?
I have used pheromones for almost a year now and I am still unable to come up with an answer to this. I feel really dumb because no-one else seems to have the same problem.
Edit: Are you guys just honest and tell the truth?
When do you get searched and what are ‘they’ searching for???
I’ve used a box of Altoids, I read it on a post on here a while back, which can handle a few 5 ml bottles quite nicely.
I mean, I’m not expecting to be searched, but, makes it easier to carry in my pocket or in the car.
For flying, I’ve put it in zip lock bags and dropped it in my carry on. The one time I was asked about it, I said they were travel size colognes. I wasn’t asked to spray it, but I was ready to spray the inspector with the 5ml of Instant Shine…
What kind of problems have you had with your mones? If it’s at a club, you could always just keep it in the car and spritz your mones just before going inside…
In Amsterdam searches at club entrances are not rare. They pat you down for weapons and drugs. Sometimes the searches can be surprisingly thorough. While I strongly doubt pheromones are prohibited in clubs, I think it would make for fairly awkward conversation if I were to explain to the door-guards what the miniature liquid-filled bottles were doing in my coat pocket. Bear in mind that I would also have to explain in front of my friends as well which is a definite no no.
Regarding air travel, I have to explain the contents of my suitcase every time. My middle name is Mohammed (no joke) and I am 18 years old so despite me being atheist, born and raised in the Netherlands, affluent, educated and well-groomed apparently I am still a threat. =( I guess I could say it was cologne but if I had 8 miniature bottles of an unidentified substance they might get a bit suspicious.
Also, I do not own a car and even if I did, driving to clubs in Amsterdam is not exactly feasible.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. People wear charms and blood vials all the time, ok maybe some, not all, ok… Do they even?? BUT, if you can find it or probably make it, wear a pheromone filled vial around your neck. If anyone asks, just say its more precious than your blood. On a night that you only bring TUTH out, wait for the girl who asks “what’s that” and ask her to have a whiff of it. BAM
You could also try
Stuffing a togo in your underwear (now that’s 2 loaded weapons in your pants)
Thigh strap
OR… Here’s my serious answer
"REMOVE THE LABELS OFF YOUR TOGO (ideally you would have premixed in a unlabeled sprayer) AND TELL them “it’s my cologne, so I don’t smell bad after dancing”
Also some stores sell imposter fragrances in 5ml bottles or sometimes i transfer some mones into a 1ml sample cologne vials. I’ve never had one break and they can fit in a wallet.
I do the same thing. The sliver Sephora looks like a perfume atomizer and, thus, incurs fewer questions at checkpoints than bottles with terrible labels like “Ammo” or “P109.” Plus they are more leak resistant and have a wider and finer (more mist-like) spray pattern. The togos zap ya like a friggen garden hose…
I would never give my business to a club that demands I be patted down to gain entry. I’m surprised people give up their civil liberties so easily.
He’s in Holland. The world works differently elsewhere. If you take a briefcase or bag into a supermarket in Oz; it will be searched / looked in at the checkout before you leave. It’s a condition of entry. Here in America it’s common knowledge that certain schools have metal detectors and pat downs. And that’s a school. Same when going to a live music show, I’ve been “checked”; here in America and in Oz. It’s also someone’s right to go out without the threat of a drunk and a gun / bomb in the same place as you. October 12, 2002, Bali. All could have been avoided with a pat down.
Like the examination everyone has at every airport in America. And I like garden hoses . . . .
