An Introduction, by Me

Hello!
I keep forgetting my age but this year it is 24! No, its 25 . . . yeah, 25

My sex is female!

I am generally located in my house! In Montana!

A bit about myself is perhaps that I have blue eyes and brown/gold hair, a fantastic hubby, Ekosa, who convinced me to not only join this forum, and buy pheramones, but also to keep improving myself and be happy!
I have a 6 yr old daughter who is obssed with Super Heros and girly thing, and a baby due in January.

I believe your own personality is a hard thing to realize, describe and share, at least accuratly. Given that I’d say I’m the kind of person people tend to enjoy, although I’m most confortable around living things that don’t speak, or not living things like PAPER!!
I’m here because my love convinced me to join. I’ve had my fair share of terrible forum experiences and was excited for some pleasant ones!
What I hope pheramones will do for me. . . . Hard to say about that one. I’m quite pregnant so I’m sure I’m already exuding pheramones like crazy, which I guess I have used to my advantage making my partner go all “protective daddy” suddenly, although its not very intentional.
I guess I’m excited to use them on purpose. They can be another super hero with my neuro linguistic programming and people skills to make me feel, a bit more like a real boy!

Hi there DSM, welcome to the phero forum!

It’s exciting to have both sides of a couple join at the same time
You’re not the first hubby-and-wife combo to be on here but I’m sure you’ll have a great time exploring pheros together, it will be interesting to know how YOU are affected by Ekosa’s mones!

You’re spot on with the pregnancy bringing out your husband’s nurtury side - in fact, EST is the pheromone that bottles just that. Now, it sucks to be telling you this, but after the baby is born you shouldn’t use pheromones, because your baby needs to learn to bond with YOUR unique phero signature. The pheros you’re making now will mess with the results, but it shouldn’t harm your unborn baby nor your daughter, since she’s old enough to not depend on your phero signature so much anymore. This is just my guess, and I will try and dig up some posts for you about this..

In the meantime, I believe Ekosa mentioned getting you a bit of Instant Sexiness to try out. I also think you might like Instant Shine - very young and smiley and positive, which I think will fuse with your personality nicely. Pheros affect people in different ways, so some become more calm and serene and others more bubbly and giggly with IS, I guess we’ll find out what they’re like for you soon enough. The other socials, Instant Openness and Instant Honesty will compliment your people skills as well. IO for increase in quantity/breadth of communication and approachability, and IH for increase in quality/depth of conversation and rapport.

Welcome aboard; I hope to see you around from now on!

Thanks for the reply! I like you Spinach, I’ve seen a bunch of your posts and you’re very pleasant.
Question, when you say IS is that Instant Sexiness or Instant Shine?
I’m most intriuged by Instant Honesty, but I’m not quite sure how I’ll use the pheramones at all. I’m kinda just along for the ride, until I get addicted of course.

I never thought about them affecting baby! I hope Ekosa isn’t so attached to his pheramones that he can take a break after baby is born. I’d hate for them to mess up our parental bonding!

As for my daughter, I was thinking about letting her use some. Maybe Shine and Openess. She could use a social push. I’d research more before that though.

Anyway, thanks for the welcome! I’m sure I’ll be seeing you!

You know, I guess what I’d really like from pheramones is the way they affect myself. I don’t really need to
them on others because I have great people skills, a mate who finds me very attractive and people like me, I just find people to be a stressful chore. I really DO NOT like talking to people or really being around them. This could be too deep seeded or genetic for pheramones to do anything, but what I really want is to use them on me to make me like people more.

Any mone mixture advice to make ME want to be around people? Shine I suppose?

Aw thank you! You sound like a super sweet person yourself, which is always an awesome thing

Oops, I meant Instant Shine when I said ‘IS’. Usually you type IS/a or IS/b for Instant Sexiness, because it comes in two versions, which have differing images - often compared to as the Angelina Jolie (IS/a) versus the Marilyn Monroe (IS/b).

As for your daughter, she’s only 6 years old so I would caution you on introducing pheros at such a young age. She’s still got a loooot of developing and growing up and finding out about herself to do, psychologically and personality-wise, not to mention physically. It’s just that this pheromone business is still shiny and new and although we know it does work to a good extent, there have been next to no studies or extensive research done on how exactly they affect children. So I just think it would be safer to hold back, until we get the green light. :stuck_out_tongue:

I just saw your new post - obviously I don’t know you too well but maybe you’re just an introvert? Introverts kinda get a bad rep in society but it’s not a crime to need more time to yourself than with others.
Definitely try out Instant Shine and maybe Instant Openness and see how they work for you.

Tehe. I am quite an introvert.

I will hold off for little one.

When I looked up the descriptions for Instant Sexiness a and b there didn’t seem to be much of a difference so I kinda closed my eyes and pointed, but I think I’ll be pleased with b. I will deffinatly try Shine and Openess. Thanks so much for the advice!

Welcome to pherotalk Dark Shadow!

I know that it is advised you don’t use pheromones around babies or children like under 3 and when you are pregnant.

I don’t think there has been any diverse effects or anything scary but it has been advised against.

Before I replied to this post what I did was do a search and I couldn’t come up with any threads, posts

Please ask the women on the forum see if any of them have some knowledge to offer before going further.

If it is the case that you can I suggest very rare usage and start of with the socials.

Your gc was issued!

Thanks for the reply Mickaelia.

I did a search and I found quite a number of pregnancy related posts! Wow!
I was surprised!
Pheromones and pregnancy, pheromones during pregnancy ??, and my favorite, Safety of pheromones in pregnancy where Tisha23 makes a very eye opening remark about avoiding mones with Oxytocin! I didn’t even think that would be in any pheromones! Yikes!

I kind of figured I’m making so many pheromones being pregnant anyway, using them on purpose would be a fantastic thing! Then again, I don’t paint my nails right now cause I want to avoid harm to Baby, which many women scoff at.

I’m pretty disappointed because we just got our first batch and I do love Instant Shine, but I guess I can hold off for a year or so. :frowning:

Thanks for compiling all the links into one post, DSM! The reference will be handy for the future, I’m sure.
I tried to rep you but for some reason my button is not giving me a reaction; probably something to do with my browser, not the forum. :frowning:

Thanks for trying to rep me Spinach! I tried that for you to earlier today and I couldn’t either.

There were a few more posts, but I didn’t read them, should I try to find more and add them? Do you think that would be helpful?

One thing is for sure, I will be adding the responses I feel from Baby and my daughter’s responses to Ekosa’s phero mixes.

Alright so I’ve found these sites,
Mother-Infant Bonding: The Science of Smell and Infants Know Their Mother’s Scent which, to me makes it very obvious that pheromones DO work. I’m really confused why people question this. Maybe people don’t believe in pheromone products?

Anyway, I’m curious to know if the pheromones are passed through say, the uterine walls or the unborn smell vicariously through Mom. That second idea creeps me out somehow.

If it was through the uterus, Baby should not be affected by external pheromones, or at least be able to distinguish sprayed on mones from body produced mones.
I hypothesize that after Baby was born, it would still recognize it’s mom BECAUSE:

  1. Your own phero signature would still be there, even under other mones
  2. Baby’s derive mom’s mones from places that one is unlikely to spray (such as nipples)
Maybe though, the sprayed pheromones would overpower or change the signature too much for Baby to recognize it.

However if Baby smelled through Mom’s smells, that would change things dramatically.
If there was a woman who used mones all through pregnancy and then suddenly stopped using them after baby was born, baby would be confused.

A woman who used specific mones all throughout pregnancy and continued to use those same ones after birth would be ok because Baby would have registered her natrual phero signature PLUS her sprayed pheros together to make the “mommy smell”

As a strange side note, I didn’t recognize my daughter for the first week after she was born.
She was in my room most of the time, but once she was taken to the nursery and I confused her with another baby.

Just a brainstorm rant. I’m sure they’ll be more.
