Anyone ever do a cleanse?

I have to try this one day

But does not look “cookieliscious” to me but since your kids have tried it, and their in their teens and liked it, its gotta be good.

This is all very interesting. I’ve lost some weight unintentionally recently so I don’t think I’ll try this right now but if I could bulk up the next few months eating fairly healthy then do the cleanse and switch to an even healthier diet while maintaining my weight that would be ideal.

I’m doing a 60 day juice fast. I’m on day 3.

60 days is a bit long for a juice fast. There are nutrients you cant get from fruits and veggies that you need. Take quality fish oil supplements and make a bone broth to sip on. If you don’t know how I can tell you, my grandmother taught us. Do be careful with the fish oil you pick, lots of them have mercury in them.

Well I do drink a tea made with wild-crafted burdock root and stinging nettle. I also take 3 Juniper berries a day. Then ANY nutrient I need would come from the bea pollen I use.

As for oils I’m switching between flax (which offers a perfect balance of Omega 3 and 6, more so than Fish oil), and coconut oil.

Besides detoxing a few days I feel really, really great. Day 5 today

Doing a fruit and veggie detox for the next week, drinking 20ml of green tazo tea a day, drinking water up the wazooo. Working out 3 days a week with weights, taking flax oil capsules, and zinc and B6, along with my 100%Boss natural peanutbutter and whole weather wheat bread and swimming 2 days a week and sitting in the sauna 45minutes a day. And not shaving but once a week. Gotta get ready for spring. Ps what’s a natural healthy was besides diet and drinking water is another good way to fight the acne beast that comes with detoxifyn?

I know that part sucks LOL

Try soaking in a warm epson salt bath to dry the toxins out faster. This will at least cut down on the duration of the problem.

If its on the face mix epson salt, witch hazel and tea tree oil in warm water and splash your face with it twice a day. You can use a cotton ball as well. Dont over do the tea tree oil, its smells to high heaven.

This soap is awesome, I get it in the health food store for my son.

Dead Sea Mud Soap

I also like Black African soap. Its fabulous for the skin. I get mine from various places but right now I am using woobie brand.

I would stay away from the wheat bread while detoxing. Its not productive to the process and can actually hinder it.

Try putting your peanut butter in these >>>>

Mary’s Gone Crackers, gluten free, dairy free, vegan crackers, made with whole organic foods

OMG they are so good, I have my whole office addicted to them. You can find them in the organic section of most supermarkets or health food stores.

Woobie Bath - African Black Soap

They sell dead sea mud to. I havent tried there’s though.

I love nettle tea

Flax is great but its not as effective as fish oil. The body cant convert it into DHA. For some reason as we age our bodies can only convert like 10% of the flax into usable omega 3. I eat flax all the time because its a tasty alternative to wheat and its healthy. For omega 3’s I eat wild fish or take a suppliment. I use emerson ecologics to get mine.

Emerson Ecologics : Nutritional Supplements, Vitamins & Natural Health Products

Here Dr Mercola explains it well and there are lots of studies on it to. Using flax is better then not using anything at all for omega 3 there will be some conversion but I prefer the fish oil myself.

Following this post, I ran to the Health Food store yesterday looking for a liver cleanse. The owner of the store showed me around the cleanses they had, but she advised me to just get a bottle of Chlorophyll instead of any of the cleanses she had in the store. Is anyone up in this camp familiar with Chlorophyll … did she pull one over on a newbie, or was her advice nice?

Thanks!

Well chlorophyll is really good for the blood. It helps regenerate cells and helps maintain immune system as well as detoxes to a certain extent. Its good stuff but if your eating your fresh organic greens every day your getting enough chlorophyll. If not then a suppliment works. I add powdered greens containing chlorophyll to my smoothies or food. She didnt rip you off but I wouldn’t just use it for detox without incorportating some other methods. It is really good at removing heavy metals though.

Thank’ya, Darrrrrrrrrrrling T!

NOPE. Not eating organic nothing at the moment, so I’ll deal with the chlorophyll for a while, thanks! I got a bottle of Acidophilus probiotics, too, but after reading up a little on the liver, that is my main goal. If you or anyone have any ideas, I’d be willing to listen! I read up on what Steve said Jasmin said … yes, HE SAID SHE SAID  … and that stuff is EXPENSIVE!!!

Much appreciated!

I agree. Good stuff
