Best type of deodorant for mone use

Happy 2012 guys,

I have a question regarding deodorant use especially in regard to natural pheromone production.

What type would you guys recommend? I use Brute’s antiperspirant. I hate sweaty under arms and I like the smell. But during a quick search, I found that antiperspirants block natural pheromone production.

So my question is, is this type of deodorant causing negative effects and if so what would be a better type to switch to?

Yes, aerosols can be very counterproductive.

Try a crystal deodorant instead.

I’ll stop by the drug store after work.

Any particular brand or just look for a crystal deodorant on the shelf?

Crystal Deodorant is good I hear, I cannot vouch from personal experience, but the one I use is an antiperspirant, its called Mitchum Roll On. I have found it too be the most effective for sweating through TShirts and an overall Deodorant. You can get it at walmart for under $4 I am pretty sure, and for blocking natural mones, your armpits arnt the only place that they are secreted, A word of Advice though using the roll on use it right after you shower for best results, as your pores are open the most at this time and it goes to block the pores the best. How I Do it is use a towel, right after I get out of the shower to dry off my armpits then I apply the deodorant, the only drawback of the Rollon is it takes some time to Dry, like 20-30minutes. So after your put it on wait about 20-25minutes to put on a tshirt otherwise it will go through the armpit sleeves because it is still wet, hope that helps man,

I didn’t use a crystal stick, but I did use a crystal spray. It’s basically a mixture of different salts that make the water very salty. This prevents the bacteria from growing and in turn causing any body odor. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop the sweating. If you are a heavy sweater, the crystal won’t help you stop sweating. You might want to try it out on the weekend and see how you like it.

They are all much of a muchness IIRC. The brand I have is Pit Rok but you also see the raw crystal sold in chunks, unbranded/unpackaged for a fraction of the cost and that IME is just as good. Not tried any others because the crystals also last a very, very long time.

This is true - However I found that changing to clothing made from more natural materials did a lot to reduce the sweat issue.

Oh and learning that most women actually do like a bit of good “healthy” sweat on a man. So long as you don’t smell rancid that is!

I don’t sweat that much.

In fact, I’ve noticed wearing certain mones causes my deodorant to fail and my arms to sweat.

Not too much though, just enough to make me notice.

But i’ll try the crystal stuff. No harm in giving it a go anyway.

Interesting - I’ve noticed that since I took-up A314, I’ve not really been bothered by sweating at all. Other than when working-out of course but It was mainly anxiety-related sweat that bothered me before and I’ve had very little of that!

I don’t use deodorant. As long as I’m well hydrated, eat somewhat healthy, and shower daily, I don’t produce much body odor.

I use a deodorant without an antiperspirant. I’ve always had a reaction to antiperspirants resulting in profuse sweating.

I use an odorless deodorant under my arm pits when I use cologne. Could try that so it doesn’t cover up the pheromones.

Never use antiperspirant. It’s natural to sweat. You’d be confusing yourself and everyone around you, pheromonally speaking.

Never use a deodorant with any Aluminum oxides in it. Unless of course you want aluminum in your bloodstream. (Aluminum has been linked to dementia!)

If you can go “deodorant commando”, GOOD. When you have a clean diet, it’s impossible to smell bad.

Sometimes I spray A314 directly into my armpit. It works wonders for natural pheromone production. It’s a feedback loop that my body wants to perpetuate, I think.

If you simply MUST deodorize, JASON makes a phenomenal product. This is the last deodorant you’ll ever need: Amazon.com: Jason Tea Tree Deodorant Stick, 2.5-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3): Health & Personal Care

I bought a stick of that crystal stuff. Feels almost like a stick of plastic, but so far so good.

Spraying a314 right under the armpit eh? I wonder how effective spraying other mones there would be

Shouldn’t have to worry about smelling bad either, it’s 3* outside right now.

Ah. I’ve been using anti perspirant deodorant because I’m very hygienic and have always unwanted to be known as the smelly guy even though I’ve got a fairly good diet. But because of basketball and other physical activities I take part in I haven’t tried going deodorant commando.

I’ll stop by my local Walgreens and check out some products.

Good posts guys!

I don’t think Walgreens carries that one anymore.

If you have a Whole Foods or CVS in your area, they do.

It’s really a great trick that adds more mileage and amperage to your mixes.

YMMV in 3* weather, though…

Do ensure that you don’t have bad reactions to Tea Tree first. I have this quite badly and the thought of putting anything tea-tree on my pits fills me with utter dread! :open_mouth:

It can take a little while for the antibacterial effects of crystal to reach maximum. A week or two IIRC.

Be careful about spraying mones on your pits or crotch. Some products are OK - TAA/IS being the main one and I suppose rone is ok too if John advises it. However other pheros that break down to none eg A1, nols and none itself can get very smelly very quickly when sprayed on hairy/sweaty/warm places. Oh and none binds effectively to hair, which can lead to stinky/build-up problems -which need a good long hard scrub with soapy water to remove. OW! :open_mouth:

I have this old salt scrub stuff I used many many years ago when I had bad acne in middle school.

It takes a layer of dead skin off of the skin and makes it silky smooth.

The girlfriends asked me why my chest had a cat pee like smell to it after not showering for one day. :open_mouth: I used instant jerk for the first time the night before to see how it would effect her.

I used the salt scrub before showering and she said it was completely gone.

Gotta be careful with this stuff.
