March 14 I ordered the to-go bottle of the ISB to try out. I used a pheromone product years ago called Scentuous and it did nicely. Then I lost the order link, ran out and didn’t get any more, and they appear not to be in production now so I was shopping for something else and ran across your site.

Now, here’s what I want to do (not necessarily in any particular order except #1).

  1. I want to punch up my love life (not just in the bedroom, I want some adventure/romance back in things, you know? You’re married awhile, you settle into a routine. I wanna shake things up.)
  2. I want to get the guy I consider my best friend to realize we are peas in a pod and decide I’m one of the best buds he’s got. (If there’s a smidge of, “If we’re ever both single, watch out” in there, I wouldn’t complain.)
  3. I want to walk into a room and people will go, “My GOSH, it’s [Boudicca]!” and come a-runnin’.
  4. I want guys drooling again when I walk by.
  5. I want my book sales to soar because the people that meet me think I’m fabulous and beautiful and intelligent, so my books must be fabulous and beautiful and intelligent (they ARE, I just want more people to realize it).

When the shipment came, I got a freebie IS in addition to the IS/b. It was funny - I opened the packing and this fragrance wafted out. I checked the bottles and no damage, so it was just from the processing plant, I guess. I liked it though, and SO DID MY CAT!!! He was loving all over my hands, smelling them, and he stuck like glue to me the rest of the day! :smiley::cool:

I’m a writer and spend most of my time at home on the laptop, writing. And I’ve been a little unwell since a couple days before I ordered the mones, so I haven’t used the products yet.

But this Saturday night I have a talk to a local club, followed by a booksigning. I think maybe it’s a good time for a mone baptism, lol!:wink: Suggestions for how much of IS and IS/b to use for said baptism welcome.

Ok I just couldn’t resist any longer. I went and spritzed one spray (since it was the first, kind of a sputter rather than a spray) of IS (to-go) just at the top of my cleavage. No cover fragrance; just the shine.

Immediate self effects: “eye-opening,” mild headachy twinges. Nice smell; the sort of fragrance I really like. Almost immediate “whoa baby, watch out for me” feeling! ROFL

Headachy twinges going away, but not the “whoa baby” or the :open_mouth:, heh.

I’ll keep ya posted. Unfortunately hubby is away for the evening; his second job is as an entertainer and he has a regular gig tonight.

Edit: I think it’s been about 10 mins now, and the “whoa baby” is still there. The eye-opening effect has settled into a nice, mellow but alert confidence. Wow, if this is what one sputter-spritz does for me, the heck with what effect it has on the people around me! I’m gonna be the center of attention wherever I am… :slight_smile:

Ok not quite 1.5 hrs later…

I realized I was starting to get “down” and was puzzled, because I can still smell the application. THEN I realized I hadn’t eaten anything today but a protein bar HOURS ago, and I’m hypoglycemic! I just shoveled in some food and starting to come back to life. Also switched my listening - the station was playing more blues than anything else and that has always been inclined to make me sad. (There’s a REASON they call it the blues!) :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh and I just pushed forward on the notion of a book video trailer for the book I have coming out in 2 months. The book is co-authored with my mentor, and I’d sort of been passively waiting for him to say, “Yeah, let’s do this.” But he stays dagum busy and I finally said heck with this, I’m gonna look into it. He can participate or not, his call. But the trailer these people did on my first book was a big factor in netting me a movie option.

So there is some backbone, gumption, grit, p!$$ and vinegar in this Shine stuff, I think. :wink:

Thank you, Cookie. I have my fun side and my serious side. I’ve been reading some of your posts on the forum and they’re very interesting. :slight_smile:

So far the cat has done little but sleep this evening since I spritzed the shine. :angry: He got up when hubby came home, but neither of them seems to have reacted. :frowning: On the other hand, I held the cat on my shoulder for a lot longer without him squirming than I can usually manage, and he seemed to be hunting something in the air. :confused:

Hubby’s tired, so I really didn’t expect much there. Maybe not enough, maybe diffused away. :roll_eyes:

As for me, I’m still alert, but feeling a bit tired. Given that I’ve had insomnia problems since coming off pain meds after my surgery, and that I didn’t get solidly to sleep last night until about 8:00 this morning, I suspect that’s the issue for me. sigh we need a sleepy emot

Hmph. I just noticed I misspelled “experiments” in the title. :roll_eyes: I guess that showed I really WAS under the weather. :frowning: I wonder if I can go back and edit…? :confused:

Hello. Thank you for journaling. I wish you luck. I’m married also, and I can tell you that mones do help with springing life back into marriage. IS tends to diffuse rather quickly because of the weights of the molecules. It appears to last between 3-4 hours.

Tonight:

5:15pm applied 2 sprays IS/b1.2, 2 sprays Shine; waited a couple of minutes, then applied 2 sprays “Boyfriend” parfum, all in slightly different areas across the chest. The blending was quite nice, and I really like it. I applied makeup while the sprays dried, then got dressed. Hubby and I left immediately to go down the street to Applebee’s for dinner. (~5min drive)

Self-effects:

None immediately obvious. But then I was busy trying to get ready and didn’t have much time to notice. I did feel rather confident and was looking forward to seeing what happened over the evening.

Others:

Hubby has 2 modes - silent and chatty. Lately he’s been mostly silent. But he started yakking in the car and didn’t stop until the food arrived. After dinner I wasn’t ready to go home and asked him what he wanted to do. Per usual, “I don’t know.” So I asked him if he was tired, did he want to go home? Now, my usual answer would be “Yes” and I was mentally resigning myself to going home and just watching TV. To my surprise - and for the first time in I can’t recall - he said, “No!” So he chose to go to Wal-mart and wander around and do some erranding. Unfortunately once there, per usual, we split up.

The host at the restaurant was very polite and solicitous. We were seated quickly despite the busy after-work St. Pat’s crowd. One of the managers (we’re regulars, all the “old” managers know us) came by and had to get caught up with us, took our drink orders and put them in herself. But stood there chatting for so long that our waitress (unbeknownst to me) stood behind me waiting, wanting to take our orders but afraid to interrupt.

Eventually the manager went on to fetch our drinks and the waitress was very on the ball with us the whole time, taking our orders, seeing to it they were right, bringing hubby a drink refill without his asking, etc. I taught her to toast in Irish Gaelic (Slainte!) and she was delighted.

The table across from us was a family and didn’t seem to be responsive at all. Oddly, three tables down from them, a young man with his girl/wife :confused: kept making eye contact. About 75% of the time when I’d look up, he would be looking at me.

No hits that I noticed in Wal-mart. It’s kind of a big space to try to get any concentration of mones going.

I did have a couple of interesting personal experiences while I was there. One was shopping for a belt and discovering I could get a size smaller than I’d been wearing. This was obviously very positive. The other was glancing into a couple of mirrors and feeling a tad bit shocked that the image in the mirrors was not that of the svelte, curvaceous young blonde I felt on the inside.

Toward the end of our shopping, the effects of today’s gym workout started hitting, and I got tired, so we checked out and came home.

I’m still feeling upbeat, just tired.

Ok it’s midnight. Not only has any upbeat evaporated, I’m now actively down. :frowning:

Part of it is due to a really hard gym workout today, so I’m physically tired and sore (but not sleepy - insomnia getting worse). :open_mouth:

Part of it is due to stress - as a scientist, everybody and his dog is bugging me about the Japanese situation with the quake/tsunami/nuke plants and demanding to know my advice - then refusing to follow it when I tell them to just chill. They WANT to panic. It amazes me. :confused:

Anyway, I’m thinking maybe I want to become a hermit instead… :frowning:

Today (Friday, 18 Mar) was hermit day. Lots of sleep, editing on books, spending some time with hubby tonight, generally not sticking my nose out the front door (except when some wingnut parked right outside my house and laid on the horn trying to get someone’s attention in a neighboring house).

Tomorrow night (well, tonight, given the time) I’ve got a booksigning. We’re gonna try a stronger IS-IS/b1.2 combo and see what happens.

Tonight:

3:15pm 3 sprays Shine, 3 sprays IS/b1.2. Wait 5 mins, apply 3 sprays “Boyfriend” parfum, all on chest. Allow to dry; get dressed. Prep for talks (1 live, 1 radio). Depart with husband for live talk @ 5:30; arrive ~6pm.

Rationale:

Having read through many of the journals on this site, and knowing 1) my own personality’s audience fx, 2) the short time I have between acquisition and large appearances, 3) the lack of interaction I have with people on a day to day basis due to writing at home, I ascertained that most people seemed to have success with 3 sprays of Shine, and 3 sprays of IS/b or /a. Other products (which I don’t have yet) like IH and IO seemed to take only 1 or 2. I therefore implemented a “three of each” plan to speed up the test.

Self-effects:

Hard to tell. The radio talk (tonight) for which I’d been prepping all week was changed at the last minute today and I had to scramble to regroup; highly stressed. After application I think I did calm down somewhat and develop a high degree of confidence in my ability to handle the subjects upon which I would be speaking. Calm/confident is GOOD. Especially for high-strung me.

Effects on others:

Husband was very solicitous on drive over. Attempted to soothe and calm, suggested and implemented detour for ~5-10 mins to nearby bookstore to wander and relax before going across street to meeting.

Upon arriving at meeting before it started, was immediately sucked into discussion of topics of conversation that were to be on the radio program. Meeting began and we (hub and I) listened politely. Break between mtg and my talk, from 6:40-6:50pm. I went into the ladies’ room and added an additional spray of both Shine and IS/b. Then I went and looped the conference room (~20x30’) ostensibly to pace (they knew I was nervous about the radio talk’s last minute change of subject), really to spread mones thru the room out of curiosity.

Talk began at 6:50 and proved very good. I presented well and had an excellent, and involved, audience, willing to ask questions, offer comments, etc. Afterward I was approached by half the men in the room to discuss the concept(s) - one of them offered an odd sequence of comments on how Aphrodite pertained to my scientific topic (!) and three women, one who happened to be the organization president.

I did not offer any books for sale, although I promoted the book that is about to be released and the one that just went under contract, and virtually everyone was enthusiastic about both.

Hubby remained solicitous and very chatty on the way home and did not demur when I requested a detour to break my low carb diet and get a chocolate milkshake.

Called into the radio studio at 9:15 to get set up; listened in to the show for about 20 min before joining in. Adrenalin surging, but confident. My part went well, and I remained calm and presented well, and did not lose my cool. In general pleased with how it went.

I judge I had at least 8 people-hits out of ~20 people, most of those multiple times, as many as 6-8 per person; a very responsive hubby, and a high degree of self-confidence. Definite success.

QUERY TO READERS: Should I also acquire IO and/or IH? I have a big sales opportunity in a week, and would like to try to maximize this.

For your sales opportunity, I’d say some IH would be in order. This with your usual IS/b and IS would be a boost for those around you to feel comfortable/confident in you.

Thank you, 1Alpha! IH has now been ordered in a to-go size. I’m waiting until I get done experimenting around to order bigger sizes and utilize my $25 off certificate…

This is an odd question, but…

Since my surgery removed my reproductive organs by necessity (I’d already had a partial hyst, and the gigantic cyst literally ripped apart what was left), and the doctor refused to put me on HRT… well, you get that picture.

Anyway, once I came off pain meds, I started having increasing problems with insomnia, to the point that no matter what time I got in bed or what I did or took to sleep, I wasn’t getting to sleep. Later and later, until finally I wasn’t getting to sleep until a couple hours past sunrise. And the least little thing would irritate me and keep me awake.

But when I started using the mones, I began falling asleep at pretty close to the desired time, and waking up in a reasonable time, rested and refreshed and not groggy.

Is this a self-effect of the mones?

If I’ve been ‘using’ for week(s) without a stop in mone usage, I’ll get tired and a groggy during my afternoon. Today this happened… I’ve got some A314 oil, some IH, some P84 by this afternoon around 2 or so, was feeling very groggy.

I had a light tuna salad with some tea so it wasn’t some heavy lunch that was taking all of my resources to process…

So, a small 10 minute siesta brought me back to life.

My wife tells me that when I wear AMMO, she sleeps lightly. She says she doesn’t rest as much. Lately, I haven’t had that comment, but don’t want to push it by wearing AMMO to bed. Usually shower it off before bed.

I remember reading something about this and found Radman’s thread here:

But I’m not using them every day. Still and all, I’ve noticed mild headaches and tiredness when they wear off. Such as today, when I’m not wearing them after 2 days wearing them, and I could probably just lie back and nap for several hours.

So maybe I need to pick up one of the supplements mentioned in that thread. Thanks for the link.

If your sleep patterns are aligning the way you want, that’s a good thing! I like to read about good secondary effects of mones. I’ve used P123 with some good self effects in minimizing tension and migraine headaches.
Not getting enough rest or your body not wanting to sleep had been a problem that I’ve had. Insomnia is a bear to live with so getting some restful shuteye is great to hear!!

I’m sure this was not the intent of AD, but, nice to capitalize on these secondary effects. :slight_smile:

Gym today. Best workout since my surgery! No mones, at least no artificial ones. :wink:

But tonight…oh geez am I hurting. See, I’ve had a… well, it’s like what the ol’ folks used to call rheumatism, the joints ache when the weather changes. And I’ve had it since elementary school, when both legs locked up in contracted positions, every joint from the waist down.

Now it’s been demonstrated that atm pressure changes DO cause aches, because they cause the encapsulated tissues like bursae and muscular fasciae to expand or contract. And I’ve found that on the evening after a workout, if the weather is changing, I’m gonna just feel like body parts are gonna fall off. And guess what? Right now I’m wishing they’d just drop off and have done.

So I checked TWC and sure enough there’s a small system coming through tomorrow - I think it’s associated with the tornados they’ve been having in Iowa. Nothing severe predicted for here, but still and all, enough of a pressure gradient to make me an unhappy camper.

This weekend I’ll be out of town at a convention. Hopefully something to report when I get back. Meanwhile I’m gonna go take some NSAIDS and crash in a little, I think.
