Congruence and the Consumer Line

I would also like to add, don’t make the newbie mistake that I did and throw together a haphazard mix of everything but the kitchen sink the first time out. Sure you may get some great results by random chance but you don’t know which products were doing the work and which ones might have simply been superfluous to the mix. Believe me, I know it’s easy to get excited and all of the products sound so positive it’s easy to assume that high doses of everything is good. You’d be wrong in that assumption. My best recommendation is to follow Steve’s guidelines for finding your sweet spot

for the various products. With the exception of A314 you can get to-go sized spray bottles of each product. This is a fairly inexpensive way of testing all the core products without making a huge financial commitment to one product that may or may not work for your particular needs.

I would like to add to what Steve recommends, by suggesting trying the products in a particular sequence. To best note differences as opposed to variations on a theme. In other words after testing Instant Jerk, switch to a more social product like Instant Openness or Instant Shine as opposed to another none based product like TuTH…the differences in reaction should be easier to catch than if you simply go from one none product to another.

If you’re actually interested in making certain people change their opinion of you in the process I’d also suggest testing the more casual IO before going for the deeper IH, and likewise in testing IG before starting to test A314.

First the progression should in theory be more subtle and easier for the people around you to accept. It gives you more time to make those gradual personal changes that will help your congruence be more believable. And by testing all of the other products first, you’ll develop your skill at reading signs of “hits” by the time you start trying A314 who’s effects are more subtle.

Once you know your sweet spot for each lone product and how to read the effects on people around you, you can tailor your selection of what products you want to use based on the overall message you want to send. I tend to suggest a 3/2/1 ratio. I’ve found I really enjoy the Alpha Male status if A314 and it’s fairly easy for me to act congruent with it. So I usually use three drops (which some might say is a lot). Then during work I use two sprays of Shine and one shot of TuTH, during the evening if I’m going out, I shift to two shots of TuTH and one of Shine. This way my message varies depending on my environment, but it’s consistent enough that people around me don’t get confused by dramatic changes in my signature. I always have the same alpha sig and am always throwing out a touch of sexuality, it just gets slightly stronger or weaker depending on my surroundings. You’ll find your own ideal mix as you progress.
