Cheap, ‘safe’ drug kills most cancers - health - 17 January 2007 - New Scientist
And was just wondering what is yalls take on this.
Apricot pits ground up supposedly cures cancer too. I believe for anything like a cancer to be cured in a person there has to be a certain mindset that what you are doing is going to work.
You might want to research Linus Pauling and his Ascorbic Acid remedies. He won TWO Nobel Prizes for Medicine on his research and with that type of social proof he has to have something going on.

He’s right ^^^^^
Essiac tea.
I watched a CBC report on the guy hawking goji berry junk and how phony the stuff was. They talked to the person who did the cancer research on it and they were shocked it was being used in the marketing material and they said it was a long way from being that effective.
And it’s funny how the big pharma companies won’t help patent & distribute this stuff becase THEY WONT’ MAKE MONEY.
Yes, i agree, that goji junk they sell you is pure crap, the fruit though, thats an other story, its like comparing pasturized apple juice from concentrate with with added vitamin C to a wild organic apple. 99% of the beneficial compounds are dead in the crap apple juice, but in thw wild apple, there are massive benefits. Wild animals that eat wild food dont get sick.
I only eat wild organic goji berries.
Doctor mindel is a freaking scam, its a bunch of junk crap. He just says facts about gojies, but then sells you a tiny amount of goji concentrate in a massive amount of water. No wounder it doesnt do shit.
The real stuff is insane, works like magic.
This is also called “Laetrile”, it started to be used in quantity in the 1940’s and '50’s. Became really popular in the early '60’s then sort of slid into oblivion after that.
Interesting. I’ve eaten them off the bush, but not on this continent.
Do they grow in North America?
Wild?
If so, do they have a common name here?
As I see it anything that the Big Pharm says is in contradiction to nature and profits. You can’t patent a plant, but by all things pink and squishy if you destroy its natural components, add some petrol chemicals and a heaping teaspoon of a massive advertising/marketing campaign we should all live happily ever after.
Turn on the TV now during pretty much every type of programing and you’ll see a commercial for a new wonder drug. Isn’t it comical to think that because you take this drug the side effects will be this and that, but it’s OK we now have this drug to help with this and that, but there are side effects, but it’s OK we now have this to treat the side effects.
Do yourself a favor, find an organic store and eat whole foods. Stay away from everything processed and refined.
I laugh at the new Aquafina commercial that purports to filter and process the water 20 freaking times. My question is what’s in the water that makes it so bad you have to do all that to begin with. As modern society we are the least healthiest society.
I agree! I think that’s the funniest commercial ever, even though it was probably never intended to be!
Well, we don’t have superstitions about bathing inviting deathly illnesses, and we have the opportunity to brush and floss our way to six or more decades of functioning dentition.
Just two centuries ago people bought perfume to conceal their body odor and that of others – the scented handkerchief was the only way around the stank. I suspect a lack of pheromones was not an issue.
Teeth regularly fell out in the late twenties and earlier thirties … the phenomenon of finding a “toothless hag aged 37” was not unheard of.
A hundred years ago, life expectancy was more than a bit shorter than now. Upton Sinclair was writing The Jungle, exposing how meatpacking houses used chemicals to cover the odor of rotting meat …
Perhaps we are the least healthiest of any modern society … but I wonder.
If we are in fact the least healthy, it’d be in large part due to stress (lest we forget the influence of that little trickster) and McDonalds.
We are, on the whole, majorly tweaked most of the time and we tend to eat controversially.
Pardon my stating the obvious that this leads to very bad things.
Where do you get goji berries, btw?
They are easily obtained in dried form at most oriental markets, for substantially less than you will get them in health food stores. They have documented in Chinese medicine for many hundreds of years now. The mandarin name for the plant is gǒuqǐ or for the berry gǒuqǐzi. This is where our “health food store” name for the berries came from.
To the best of my knowledge most of these berries are grown in the PRC, and claims of “organic” may or may not be true. However, there are a substantial number of Chinese both in China and around the world using these berries for health and culinary purposes.
Nah, we’re number 42!

I think we’re at the exact same number for IQ Per Capita…
“Japanese food” is the top ranking longevity food in the world.
ohh wait.. that’s irrelevant
