The trapping part sounds kinda fun

Yes, it’s fun, also very different from other martial arts (and the use of the word “trapping” is a bit of a misnomer, but it’s close enough). There is a similar concept in Chinese martial arts, too. You can see it in some martial arts movies sometimes (The Matrix for instance), somebody will punch at somebody, and the person parries the punch with their hand (and this hand immediately becomes the “sensing hand”), and then their other hand manipulates that person’s arm to check it with a slap or touch (or occasionally grab and jerk it, for instance, combining it with a backfist), and then the “defender” can punch back and the other person’s hand is tied up and less useful. It’s a form of control through kinesthetic awareness of a person’s limbs. In the end, that’s person’s attack can become a very big weakness and put them at a disadvantage.
That was a long time ago, though

Well, actually, by the end of a 5-6 minute “round” we could be missing a shirt … you know - large muscular guys, partially clothed, glistening from physical exertion … several of the single ones looking for eligible single women … for “wrestling matches” of a different sort … but anyways, I am getting off subject here … most martial arts clothing is kinda loose.

Well if the guy giving the class looks anything like Adian Paul…sign me up! He starred in the series “Higlander”. One of my favs. I adore him. I don’t know why I didn’t think of him before. With the new plaid uniforms and fandangled air compressor Kitten found…he’d be the perfect instructor! Besides martial arts he excells at dancing!..and a few other things. He’s a choreographer, boxer, swordsman, played semi pro soccer, loves Mozart, Reggae, and also, speaks French and Italian fluently.
Bet he can cook, too. What I wanna know is where the F was Hollywood when they were casting the “new” James Bond? HELLO?
