Da Bella da Ball Journal

Mmmmmm…yum yums.

I’ve got a long drive home until I can enjoy my Turkey day. I can’t wait.

Thanks for the preview Bella, and have a great Thanksgiving!

Piece..

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Just checking to see if Bella needed help with the clean-up.

That I believe …

It was great, thanks. Hope everybody enjoyed their holiday as well.

Thanks for the offer to help clean up, Hank, but it’s all done.

There’s room for one more over by the fire…come on you old dog…

Woof Woof.

I got a pleasant surprise the other day. Wolf got tickets to see Tina Turner at the Spectrum this past Saturday night. :open_mouth: I know.

She was spectacular. I’m shocked that old heap o’ bricks is still standing after she was through. It should be rubble the way she shook that place. It will be shortly as they plan to demolish it and none too soon.

Anyways for those of you who are fans…a blast from the past -

and on tour now at 69 years of age -

I said to Wolf, “You’d do her, right?”

He said. “In a heart beat. She’s a legend. You’re kidding. Britainy Spears…Madonna…ca…feh…I have a hair ball caught in my throat.” :stuck_out_tongue:

A man with good taste in women in more ways than one …

I remember how astounded people were when she and Mick Jagger brought the house down at Live Aid when they were 50ish. It’s great to know she’s still rockin’.

Tina Turner? Mick Jagger? Who?

..

..

Just kidding. I’m not that young. Mick Jagger’s got a huge mouth, doesn’t he? :stuck_out_tongue:

The majority of today’s singers are not even close to the talent of the old school. The amount of post-production on modern music is just appalling.

I remember that, too. Quite a performance. Not bad for a couple of relics.

You may be young… but you said it.

Sweet. :o

Woke up this morning, it was 13 degrees :open_mouth: …brrrrrr!

I miss the beach :frowning: …wanna stick my toes in the sand and be warm.

Beach here is kinda cold right now, even in SoCal. Although, its not 13 degrees cold, its cold for us. =/

I think I hear the call of the islands …

So what’s considered cold in SoCal? 50 degrees?

So the other day it was 13 degrees here, today it’s suppose to be 60. Yep, that’s the way it is. If ya don’t like the weather, wait a couple hours…it’ll change. Welcome to Pennsylvannia.

 Ya know, funny you should say that. The phone rang the other day…I answered and asked, “Who’s calling?” It was Bali Hai. I know.

I was immediately enveloped in an intense hypnotic warm sensual feeling that beckoned…“Come to me.” It was intoxicating…but I stopped myself…as I’m committed to another. Shhhhhh…

Maybe someday…sigh.

Oh, the low flying cloud head thingy is from too much rum. :stuck_out_tongue:

ZOMG! I got to see a live performance of this at a posh dinner theater in New Orleans when I was 20. I love that movie!

Diane

It’s when they actually have to wear long trousers instead of board shorts

Don’t knock it :stuck_out_tongue: Some fine things grew in Pennsylvannia (such as me :stuck_out_tongue: )

That is very interesting to know … so how did you end up so far from home?

It’s a little complicated  I’m one of those types that were born in one country, spent a few years here and there, mostly in airports and then “settled” in another place for lack of a reason to go elsewhere for a time. I didn’t even spend that much time in Pennsylvania but it’s definitely where I have my best childhood memories.

Some good movies and book have started on that premise … :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, this starts with a Mommy Takh and a Daddy Takh…
