Good god. I just realised something. If he has social anxiety, he may be on this forum! Egads.
I used pheros to climb the corporate ladder and to thrive in an alpha male dominated world. Social life was put on the back burner.
In the process, I sort of ended up with an ultra beta male boyfriend that I wasn’t really attracted to (don’t try this at home - he was head over heels in love with me but I really wasn’t that into him, chose him for his job stability and his ability to morally support me through my psycho career path), got engaged, uh ignored him a lot, inadvertently got frustrated, broke up, went on a psycho rampage dating other men, discovered one was married, became a nymphomaniac temporarily after discovering real sex with experienced partners, had FBs for a little while, then stopped all that, period of calm, decided to be a workhorse again, and now I finally finally finally meet someone who gives me butterflies in my stomach. How is that even possible? I have never had someone give me butterflies in my stomach unless we ordered dodgy food for dinner.
I doubt very much he is here. Social anxiety happens to millions. The forum is big but not that big.
Your plan sounds good, do what your comfortable doing. If your not comfortable kissing him on the lips just yet then go with the cheek. Maybe he will dodge like you said and you will get his lips LOL
About that last part Tish, it reminds me of my last girlfriend. We were in the back seat of her car while heading on a road trip (someone else was driving) and she was leaning against me. Occasionally I would kiss her on the head and then she would go for my cheek. At one point we both went at the same time and ended up kissing on the lips. She suddenly turns away with a very akward vibe. Turns out that was her first kiss (she started dating late in life)
A quick little comment, some people mirror the energy around them. Usually how good couples form such as introverts connecting with extroverts. But in your case he may be the introvert, so show him your extroverted side
Did you really just type “homo”? Really? What is your obsession with that? Maybe it’s you who are afraid you keep turning men gay or shriveling their manhood with your expectations and actions. If that is your fear, I recommend exploring why and maybe seeking therapy. Because you cant keep projecting that onto your dates and men around you.
He tried to kiss you, you pulled away, he got discouraged, you tried to get him to take you home and he didn’t feel confident. HELLO?? YOU did that to him. It has nothing to do with his masculinity. Regardless of what’s happened since - you keep being obsessed that he might be gay - and he will pick up on that. Its not good.
I think you should do this guy a favor and leave him alone.
You don’t exactly seem like you’d be doing each other any good at all.
Your kidding right. Jeez she didnt cut his dick off with a butter knife or anything she just has concerns for his sexual preference. No sense falling for a guy and finding out later he is hiding jimbob in the closet. Plus its not like she is still sharing the concern with him she is looking for our take on it.
Dont leave the man alone if you like him.
Its nothing that cant be fixed and from what I can tell it already has been. From your last few posts I think he may have put that concern to rest.
Regarding your question… His being mad because you asked him if he is gay is not a indication of being gay. Some men are gay phobic (not that there is anything wrong with being gay) Its just a blow to his manhood. It makes him think that you think he is not masculine enough. How he felt is more like… him seeing a pretty girl and saying to you “hey she is pretty you should get your hair done like that” Its like what they fuck is that supposed to mean LOL Its not really a insult and probably meant well but it leaves you feeling bad.
Just keep up the censoring behavior and have some fun.
Hey John, going off topic here for a moment but is this a result of something you’ve seen a lot from women in general or any particular experiences of your own? I’m curious as I’ve seen it a few times myself.
