Yes. There is actually a version of IFM developed specifically for women, without the buffer in the version for men.
The buffers in the mens version were incorporated to reduce the potential negative self effects A1 can have on some men.
The womens version version removes those buffers and was designed with maximum comfort for the woman in mind.
IFM can certainly affect women very quickly - an instant difference in how an unknown girl will respond to an approach in a bar even if clumsy.

tacitus has speculated male IFM blues result from the perception of being around a super-dominant male. depression in mood ensures compliance and prevents you competing/trying to fight a battle you can not win. (see Sloman on LDS of depression).
again, well put… you might get the same feeling from deciding to attack a very dominant tribal leader, no? (brute force or social power). just terrifying. your body protecting you from getting into trouble.

I never got that impression from the stuff, though I admit it is a possibility. I believe androstadienone is just a bonding molecule, no dominance involved. Else why would gay men like it (according to some studies)? They certainly are no threat to a man’s hegemony over women. Not every pheromone has to send dominance information, humans are obviously not that simple. If anything, primate behavior (I also have an anthropology background) shows that the female ultimately decides with whom she will bear children, not the male. As history and natural history shows, males are incapable of controlling women, even though they like to think otherwise. 
It is possible the dosages of the androstadienone are at superphysiological levels in these products, which means the effect might be “above and beyond” that which is natural. “Shock and awe” possibly. There was also a definite feeling of vulnerability around women- increased sensitivity towards them. I did not feel this from men. If anything I felt somewhat indifferent towards men, and felt like zeroing in on women, as if I had something to get out of them- also “sexual” attraction seemed to fall, it was more like a desire to bond with women emotionally. More testing would need to be done, of course (this could be self-suggestion), but the self-effects are somewhat noxious on myself (showering cures the nightmares, for sure). It’s definitely grunt work, to say the least.
Also, if androstadienone were so harmful to the reproductive success… sensitivity to it would not have survived millions of years of evolution. Obviously the effect must be beneficial in some way to create a differential reproductive strategy for some men, or at least neutral in regards to natural selection. We aren’t talking about an extremely rare condition here, as would be the case in a genetic disease, it is quite common, if a minority experience.
I shall have to do more research and see what the physiological level of androstadienone is, at least get a clue. Then I will attempt to wear that amount, and see what reaction I get and how I feel. I hypothesize that perhaps, in a minority of men, that androstadienone contributes to greater attachment towards a single woman- a certain “neediness”, “shield” lowering/vulnerability and an ease for falling in love (I admit I’m guilty) and taking care of a woman and her offspring. Again, this is just a hypothesis at this point, and the research isn’t something that will be done “tomorrow” or even “next week” necessarily.
It is also possible that androstadienone in the “sensitive” individuals is actually produced in great abundance and it is easier for “sensitive” individuals to OD, but again, I admit there is probably even less evidence for this hypothesis than the former.
Obviously more research is needed because this is a grey area with little hard knowledge. There also appears to be little interest in this phenomenon from the formal scientific community.
My personal theory might be out of line, as I’m not a guy and I don’t use Instant Female Magic because it doesn’t seem to have much effect, but here it is. You know those men who are always–always surrounded by women, but never have a girl of their own? The perpetual “just friends” guy? Even if he does get a girl, he’s “soft” and “whipped,” and never alpha with her. Usually, at least in my experience, these guys have tendencies toward depression and generally dark thoughts. Instant Female Magic has so far sounded like “Instant Friend Zone” to me, judging by the reports I’ve read in the men’s forum. Maybe not, but it seems to work much better when paired with strong alpha or sexual pheromones. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I’ve always been in the “loser” crowd 
so I know a lot of guys like this. It’s fun being around them, they can always cheer me up, and the girls always want their attention; however, as soon as he decides he wants a relationship with one, she backs off and feeds him the dreaded “I like you too, but…”
One of my friends is a good example of this type of guy. 80% of his friends are female, and his best friend is a gay male. He’s always pining over several women. ALWAYS. But once he “falls in love” with one, he can’t shut up about her. It’s pure desperation. As far as his “awful life” goes, has a hopeless “you don’t understand my pain” attitude that I find really frustrating and annoying when it comes up. Don’t get me wrong, I love his stinkin’ guts, but he reminds me of an angsty teen at times.
As a side note, I’m very chemically attracted to him, and I have a thing for the submissive types… so maybe that says something about me too? Heh.
Well, so, my theory is that those perpetual friend zone guys produce more of the primary phero in Instant Female Magic than average. Any thoughts on this?

Honestly, you’re spot-on about that. He definitely goes for that vibe. Heheh, I really do need to test out my IS/A. It’ll be interesting to see how he reacts 
I’m not into him though (not anymore anyway); I just like looking. That’s my Cheetah. We used to date, but our personalities clash, and I find him too immature for a relationship. I stick around so I can admire him and be his relationship guru… and I also met my present target through him :o
Ariadne, do you think TAL products could cause a vibe of unapproachability? My target is finally getting comfortable with touching me more (in very cute pseudo-alpha ways ^_^), so I don’t wanna lose that… but I do wanna test my product…

If I were you, I would wait. On me at least, TAL (as well as IS/A and MX134) makes me supremely unapproachable. This doesn’t make a whole lot of sense as my demeanor is mostly really soft, sweet and innocent (seeming, let me tell you! 
). When I first came here, I thought the TAL would help me get over the “little sister” relationship that seemed to develop between me and most guys, but honestly it just made men nervous. Overly respectful and servile, even. I do not like this in men whatsoever! (Not that I don’t like respect, just not the fearful kind.)
TAH doesn’t really amplify the “little sister” vibe as I thought it would. It seems to boost the sexiness of being soft, sweet and coughcough innocent, and as a result makes certain men display more alpha behaviors. I am in a position very similar to yours in that one of my TGs is getting more and more alpha with me the more I use TAH around him. I don’t plan to use any TAL products in his presence until I am secure in my hold on him.
Yeah, that’s what I figured I don’t wanna scare him away. Last time I saw him, he asked if he annoyed me (something similar anyway… I don’t remember the word he used). Definitely not a confident question, so he’d probably be discouraged fairly easily. Especially since it’s pretty much unanimous that I’m intimidating already 
That’s the reason I’ve been afraid of TAL. I’m sweet on the inside (really!), but rough around the edges, and I generally come off as aloof and ‘unavailable’. I’m an alpha (not really alpha in a group exactly… just personality-wise) with a thing for beta guys BUT ALSO being dominated. Cripes! I love the cute ones, but I’ve decided to turn over a new leaf. I refuse to chase anymore. Last guy I chased was Cheetah, and, well, the Cheetah is the fastest land animal after all… insert more lame jokes
Man, I wish I snagged up some TAH before I needed advanced status. It’s sounding better and better! I’d like some unscented in a high concentration so I can spike a few things Yeah, I know I can still buy some, but I’m a cheapskate 
Interesting read, ladies… I never realized the female side of pheromones was so complex.
I will say as a teen I was attracted to quite girls who seemed independent emotionally. Somewhat soft, but also not afraid to be different. I wasn’t attracted to the loud ones that bragged alot. So take that for what it’s worth from an Instant Female Magic intolerant guy. I have no idea what that means. I still think that’s true of myself generally, though now I tend to like more indpendent type women and they don’t have to be so “soft”.
Woman By Instant Female Magic because it makes them feel happy and upbeat similar to Shine? How would a woman clueless to Pheromones feel around a guy with 3 sprays of the stuff on? The same Happy and relaxed feeling and would she equate those feelings to being around that guy or not?
I’m ready to test this Pheromone and I’m interested in what results I should be looking for.
