A company called My DNA fragrance creates a fragrance based on the analysis of your DNA. The price to have your DNA analysed from a saliva sample that you need to send to the lab is about $100, which is a one-time charge. Then the price for cologne is about $60 and price for cologne oil is $90. Looks very interesting. Check it out…
My DNA Fragrance (free-press-release.com), a US based perfume company out of Beverly Hills, California is gaining international momentum from its recent publicity in the United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey, France and Switzerland to name a few. Entrepreneur Carlton Enoch, the Company’s CEO, was a radio broadcast guest twice last week on the BBC. He was asked what are now becoming the two most popular interview questions; “What is the secret? How do you do it?” He smiles and answers candidly, “Like the Coca-Cola companies and Krispy Kreme donuts, we have a secret”.
My DNA Fragrance has created a scientific approach to the perfume (free-press-release.com) process using DNA profiles as the blueprint to develop a complex composition of various ingredients which are uniquely mixed to create one of a kind fragrance exclusive of each customer.
The Company’s fragrance is so unique that its revolutionary patent pending perfumery process will impact the way perfume is made in a world that has exhausted every possible fragrance combination in the quest to supply an unquenchable thirst for these fragrant elixirs. No two people will ever smell alike again.
My DNA Fragrance is not a pheromone produced product and no claims are made that suggest it will work like pheromones. The Company’s lab simultaneously analyzes STR (short tandem repeat) which can achieve an average probability of identity of 1.31 x 10-18 to 3.62 x 10-17 in select populations, which means the chance of finding someone else with the exact DNA profile is approximately 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000. What does My DNA Fragrance do after that? Well, there in lies the secret.
My DNA Fragrance is committed to the confidentiality and genetic privacy of its customers and holds this to be the most important element in its corporate philosophy. All lab procedures are compliant with the HIPA act of 1996 and DNA samples are destroyed once they are decoded.
With more than 30,000 designer fragrances (free-press-release.com) on the market today, My DNA Fragrance has pioneered a new path in the production of fragrance creating biologically seductive liquid treasures that caress the secret desires of the mind in a world seeking individuality and exclusivity.
This does create some doubt about his credibility. But so far I didn’t find anything on the internet that says that he or his company is trying to swindle people. This maybe genuine. There are some videos on their website which might reveal a little bit more about their work.
The site doesn’t really go into any detail about the science behind it or explain it on a level that makes it sound credible.
Sounds to me like you pay them $100 so you can swab your mouth, they chuck it out the moment it comes in the mail, and then you pay another $60 so can they send you a bottle of generic fragrance.
If it’s legit, it sounds kinda creepy. I wonder how the process works in depth and what they base the personalization on.
Wow. Super cool idea. Thanks for finding the site, nbully.
The actual store itself, though, is a little meh. They don’t explain what precisely they do to take your DNA results and come up with a perfume from them. Need more specific info there. For all we know, it could be eeney meeney miney moe. Or just Cool Water for everyone.
And they, strangely, seem to emphasize the “perfume bottle upgrade” more than the actual “DNA-based” perfume. Hope this is for real, but at this point, I’m not going for it.
Well they say their process is a secret. I am curious to know as well but I can understand if they have done extensive research to find a unique method and wouldn’t want to divulge it for anyone to imitate.
But they mention that it’s patent pending, so once it gets a patent it will be for everyone to see anyways. I personally would wait until they are granted a patent (seen too many websites touting patent pending schemes never actually receiving patents and wondered if they ever filed a patent and just used that as a catch-phrase to trap unwary users).
Another thing to note is that the CEO has interviews with BBC etc. Why would they put themselves in limelight if they thought they could get caught for fraud? They would have instead preferred to lay low and swindle internet surfers slowly until they caught on to what was really happening.
Good point! They get your CC number, address, everything! And your DNA too? LOL must be a CIA front–or the Russian mafia. Kind of scary to think that there will be people who will fall for it. Poor chumps will be so sorry when they see their clones running around wreaking havoc.
Maybe he’s a clone too! Kidding aside, I agree about waiting, Nbully. Cool idea and thanks for finding it.
I’m not suggesting anything of the sort.
But how can you tell for sure what they are going to do with the dna?
I mean this is a private organisation, mostly unknown, which you are entrusting with this information. The information could be passed to insurance agencies for example..
Sure they say that but other then their word what’s stopping them from pawning off your genetic code to somewhere else? How would you ensure it’s destruction? What’s stopping your code from being sold elsewhere before it meets oblivion?
That federal regulation is rather old, and guaranteed there’s probably a newer law to circumvent it.
So what is it exactly they are trying to look for in my DNA in order to make this personilised perfume for me… didnt quite get that part… just want to make sure i dont end up smelling like a 10 day old milk …
Most of what we read about pheromones and Androtics is also on the internet. We take it for what it’s worth and use our own judgement. Personally I would wait and see.
