Do gel evaporartes fast like alcohol or slowly like oil?

oil-products lasts much longer because the mones evaporates more slowly, whereas alcohol-carrier evaporates more quick. How long lasts gel (for example Edge) and how long does it work in average environment conditions?

Any experiences?

Thank you in advance

I find the gels sticky. I am thinking you mean diffuse not evaporate correct ? They diffuse slow like oil.

Tisha

Yes, that I mean

When using Edge-gel I can use more than NPA when comparing dosages with equal amount of None.

Few common substances (as in chemicals you probably heard of), diffuse faster than alcohol. Two things I can think of off the top of my head include acetone and ether.

Short answer? No, gels are more like oils.

For several reasons alcohol and oil are preferred carriers. They do not leave as much residue as a gel and also are not ‘sticky’ like Tisha said. The diffusion properties of alcohol actually varies based on what fragrance is used other aspects. Its not as ‘cut and dry’ as you may have thought.

We use oil and we use alcohol depending on which product and what purpose because they are the most efficient for the diffusion and usage.
