I was wondering if Pherospays have an expiration date???
If I open an bottle do the mones work the same after years?
Does it start smelling funny? How about oil based stuff?
Do you recommend opening to similar bottles at the same time?
..wanted to buy sth with copulins, but i know I will only use it rare. I don’t want it to turn bad while i still have some.
Nope, no expiry date.
Mones last for years but there may be some discolouration/change in more volatile scent components esp if exposed to more extreme heat but I’ve yet to have a phero become totally unusable with time.
For long term storage, a cool dark place is best and to combat evaporation, esp in togos I would use an airtight container - Those clip seal butter/food containers are perfect.
Light is a major factor in degradation, moreso even than heat, so dark storage is important long-term.
OH! so my bottle of andron from 81’ is still ok? thank god for that
If you have any Andron, it will be worth its weight in gold in the Trading Post! 
Mind you, I have no idea how the plant musks used in its scent might have stood-up over the years!
No they dont have a date but they will last years if cared for correctly.
Once the bottle is open if air gets in that will make them degrade faster but if they are alcohol based it would still be years as the alcohol kills any airborne bacteria that may enter the bottle.
Oils break down and dont last as long because of seperation over time. Be sure to shake the bottle good.
No if you have two bottles of the same mix dont open both at the same time. No sense in exposing it to air.
I have lots of bottles of copulins. I keep them in air tight containers in a cool dark environment. Copulins are a bit different as they are made from fatty acids and lipids which will turn rancid over time. They last me about 2 years.
If you buy a mix that is pheromones + copulins the scent will change over time due to the break down of the copulins not the pheromones. Copulins are not technically pheromones.
