As of recently I have come out a long term relationship and have been thrust back into the world of dating. long story short the past few women i have been entertaining have done a peculiar thing to me. it seems all of them at some point during the nights when we hit it off do this. I will get up to go to the restroom or get a drink or something and when i return they are laying on there sides with there legs on top one another and there rear facing me. I assume it is a positive sign but it seems to be happening too frequently to be an isolated incident. Any insight as to the meaning of this would be awesome.
Are you wearing any particular pheromone signature?
Where is this happening? What setting? From your post it sounds like some sort of lounge, but I can’t be sure. Enlighten me?
It typically happens when we are in a group setting yes. We will be next to each other then I will leave and when I return they are in that position
turning the back or rear to a person is submissive. As is lowering the body. Reclining is also indicating relaxation, which is the opposite of feeling threatened. Typically one partner is expected to take a more dominant body language as the other shows more submission, on balance. Lack of dominance where it was expected will look weak or just clueless, or she will interpret that you are disinterested and seek attention elsewhere. Firm touches at the appropriate level of progression will reassure her. If you get a negative reaction from an escallation, maintain a positive vibe and just back off one or two steps in the progression chain. You can re-escalate from that position later as her mood improves and you build proof. Even a negative reaction to an escalation can still reassure her that you are dominant and interested, and strong bad feelings are still feelings, better than lack of feelings. You can often spin bad feelings around to good with a joke, or by mirroring her emotions “your right that was so bad”, and blame your own feelings. She can’t argue with your feelings, any more than you can argue with hers. If you move away when she moves away, you are still mirroring. Stay in that frame.
Turning the back is sometimes misinterpreted as disinterest. For example if you touch a woman on the upper arm in a certain context and she may turn her shoulder such that it exposes her back. It could be subtle and fleeting, but it’s an invitation to progress to touching the upper back, which continues to be friendly non-sexual territory. So now you fulfilled an unspoken expectation - you mind-reader you! From there, progression to the lower back would indicate some sexual interest where you lead her from the waist. For ex. you could lead her from room to room by the waist, which builds proof to lead her physically. From there you can take her hands and waist together, leading. If she won’t hold hands, then kissing is a no-go. Traditional dancing in pairs is very much about establishing a tight physical pattern of mirroring, as well as incorporating a pattern of push / pull where you can establish the dominance to lead her. Once you have mirroring and she’s letting you lead, you should be able to lean in for kisses and she mirror you leaning in, and progressing so fourth.
Body language is read more accurately in clusters. How was she sitting before you left? Were there mostly other men or women in the group.
If someone is no longer pointing their feet in your direction and their back is towards you, then that is a sign of disinterest. Were her arms crossed at all? Keep in mind that her body language turned while you are away. This is important and when you are away, this presents other men the opportunity to show interest in her. My feeling is she was presenting disinterest towards another man.
Does her body language revert back to it’s original form upon your return? Were you wearing mones and what? This happens virtually every time?
