Ok, you are not a scientist. I can tell you this, I know some, if you see my sig, and if you bother to pass by the studies and abstracts sector and read you will find many relevant info on pheormones.
I can tell you this I am a learner an abosover and a scholar of the human behaviour, I spend my life studing mine and others reactions, I am not doing university on this but for me this is natural.
Now if you read my sig:

This is a fact, taken as granted from an scientific supported test. I hope you cope with me and we bouth agree that if we cant trust or scientis (and it is very possible), than we can assume or very fundations of knowledge are wrong, and therefore this discussion is irrelevant because in the end we would all be wrong.
Otherwise if we assume we thrive on correct knowledge then we must assume our scientists are correct, and since there are many that PROVE that pheromones exist and none saying they dont really exist, the only thing you can accomplish is stating that in fact what androtics sell is not really phermones, and just some normal cologne. And in this we can bouth agree on it is possible.
Now your question about hope people and intelegence. There is 100x more difficult for people to change alone than with help. Faith is a great weapon, religion as prove that. And if you shaken peoples faith and belif you destroy their hope, and you cant in fact hope they will understand that the power was always in them. Yes I am downsizing people, I have a very dark vision of the world, and belive only a bright few can understand that they are equal to everyone else, maybe not have the same capabilitys but only because they dont belive they can. I belive human potential is limitless only kept down by our own belifs.
So yes if you are correct and take away from people their support, there will be many who wont stand up by themselves. If you doing this for your self, than you shouldnt involve other people in it and look for your results. Chose to belive or chose not to. Try it and dont try it wait for your results, if it works great. What is the problem you buying a bottle of happiness and is exactly what your getting. Who cares about the ingridients if they arent nocive to you and do exactly what you want.
Again, yes maybe this talk is pointless, I am pretty confident your study will give you good results if you make unbiased. Pheromones do exist. Infact everything is a pheromone, everything stimulates your brain in some chemical reaction. So if you can get a hard on for seeing some very sexy girl you probably can also get a hard on for smelling some really sexy girl. the same goes to touching and to earing. I would go even has far as to say feeling since I do belive there is something more to be discovered about human nature.
And yes if they work on dogs they work on humans, my biologist friend is also a skeptic regarding androtics, not because pheromones dosent exist but because in is point of view we dont have yet the tecnolodgy to produce them.
