Full line of Creed sample vials I received for free (recommendations, etc)

Just as the title states and as well as my IFM report says, I did receive about 15 or so sample vials (1.5 ml) of a wide array of Creed products. I did try Royal English Leather at the store, but opted out because I think at my age (20 yrs old), I am still quite too young for that product because it smelled very overpowering and mature. I did love the smell of the leather but just wish it wasn’t so strong :o. It’s all a matter of personal smell/taste, and I’m sure it will adapt once I get older and I probably will appreciate Royal English Leather in the future. With that being said, let me list everything I received for free, with the description and notes (I received a very nice and handy paper with all the info of EVERY single Creed product that exists currently, as well as famous people that use each product ). Fyi, this is only a list of everything that I personally received for free. I can make a more detailed list later of everything available if one wishes. Thanks a lot everyone!

I want to try these, and am curious about these as I love sweet smells. What do you think about it? I like neroli so Neroli Sauvage sounds nice.

Btw Mikoto, Virgin Island Water is very sweet and smells AMAZING. I love it. It smells like a pina colada, and is very unisex in nature. This smell is so sexy .

The Neroli Sauvage has a very sweet and citrusy smell to it. The strength of the cologne is definately not overpowering and I can definately see a guy wearing this and being able to pull it off. The nice background scent of grapefruit adds a great touch because there is a mix of sweet with slight sour, but altogether it blends nicely.

The Orange Spice seems to be more sweet than the Neroli Sauvage (because there is no grapefruit sourness) but just a tad lighter in strength. The ambergris note is very nice and you can tell this blend has been carefully crafted as with all the Creed line. There is no sourness in this product. Hope that helps Mikoto

Mind linking me to the site where you got the free samples? Need some.

Haha, the only place where you can actually get free samples is a store called Neiman Marcus. It’s a very high end department store that sells expensive stuff only. I had to go in person to the store and ask the perfume ladies at the perfume counter. I’m pretty sure Neiman Marcus is the only one that sells Creed at an actual store. Other than that, I would suggest ebay if you want to try Creed Green Irish Tweed samples. Marty bought a set of 6 sample vials (1.5 ml each for a total of 9 ml) for about $11-12 and about $3 shipping. He really liked the buyer, the product, and it was 100% legit, so I went ahead and bought some about 2 days ago as well . I’m sure ebay will sell other Creed sample vials for a low price too. I talked to Denec about this issue with buying sample vials from ebay and he said scammers don’t really profit from making fake sample vials and only gain the real profit by faking the actual full sized bottles (1 oz, 2.5 oz, 4 oz etc) so you don’t have to worry about the sample vials being faked. Just make sure the ebay seller has a very high rating and has made tons of transactions throughout their ebay career.

This is who Marty and I bought from for Creed Green Irish Tweed samples:

After you buy sample vials and are fully happy with them and wish to purchase full bottles, then I suggest www.scentiments.com or www.fragrancenet.com
Denec recommended those 2 sites to me (thanks Denec!), and he said both of those 2 companies have outstanding customer service and are 100% legit, and WAY CHEAPER than buying a full size bottle from Neiman Marcus.

Which products do any of you like, suggest, or think would be really good? Thanks for your help. I have so many to choose from and will eventually sample them all, but want some suggestions as to where to start.

A hint for anything that you like but seems too strong. Try lower doses. There’s a point where you can’t smell anything, and a point where it’s too strong, and a continuous function between those points. Some perfumes ramp up quite quickly. For instance Knize 10. Just about anyone who tries that with several sprays will hate it. But if they work to find the correct (small) dosage many love it.

With perfumes, subtlety is sometimes a big positive. You don’t have to blast people with a scent. Sometimes if it works subconsciously that is even better.

That’s a very good suggestion. THanks for your advice. You’re great. I see where you’re coming from about the right dosage and the sweet spot. It applies for the same thing for pheromones too I guess, such as TUTH which I still can’t quite master :o.

I’ve tried samples of both. The Orange spice is a fresh orange smell and should be good day or night. It’s very light in many ways and like a lot of older citrus colognes it disappears leaving the spicier notes and ambergris behind.

Neroli Sauvage is one of the Creed bad boys. I lived in central Florida when I was little and there was a citrus pulp drying plant near where I lived. It gave off one of those weird smells that you can’t decide if it smells good or bad, but you keep smelling it to try and decide. Neroli Sauvage is like that. It’s a dark hot animal nightime fragrance. The Sauvage part is right…it’s wild.

Awesome renny, thank you. I actually like neroli, so this one catches my interest, plus you never know the added neroli scent might even help with diffusion of unscented/scented pheromones.

The NM ladies were a bit off on this. The Tabarome from 1936 and Tabarome Milleseme 1999 are different colognes. Until this year you could buy both, but Creed recently discontinued 5 of their classics or “Private Collection” including Tabarome to make way for some new products.

Damn, that’s depressing lol :stuck_out_tongue:. I hate when Creed discontinues products. I actually liked Tabarome. I believe it was made for Winston Churchill? I think that’s what they said. It’s the one that smells very tobacco like.

Just to be clear, Tabarome Milleseme is still available it’s the old version that is no longer being distributed. As I understand it the five that are being dropped are still being made available at the Paris boutique.

I know its a bit late in this thread but I just wanted to thank you for bringing this to my attention. I was very excited to be able to try some of this without emptying my wallet!

I just had a quick question: The vials come as “contact application” vials as opposed to spray bottles, yet everyone always talks about how many sprays to use and all that. I was wondering, can I just empty the vials into an atomizer (like the Androtics empty To-Go’s) and spray it or does it have to be engineered differently to be sprayable? Thanks!

Good question, but here’s the thing. You can do that, but understand that the sample vials are only 1.5 ml in size, so there isn’t much liquid. Plus the Creed scents are super strong, so applying with the plastic wand that it comes with is advisable if you want to wear it several times. Hope that helps. It isn’t engineered differently, so don’t worry.

Glad your enjoying the Creed house…and btw welcome to an expensive habit LOL

Oooh yeah, tell me about it… i told my girl that i found a bottle of Creed Millesime Imperial for sale on Basenotes (2.5 oz, $60 bucks, 80% left in it) and that it would save me some 60 bucks from buying it elsewhere. She then asked how many colognes i had now… I was like, oh, you know, 5? with 3 in the mail? Oh, and now that one…

She just shook her head at me and walked away…

Damn man, that sucks. Tell her that you’re doing it for her as much as you’re doing it for you. If she understands that you are doing your best to be unique, turn her on, and be attractive to the highest level you can be, she’ll be ok. Good luck MFG.

Youu got me hooked denec haha. I don’t blame you in the slightest though. I really thank you for taking the time out and helping me through the cologne purchasing process, and your recommendations on the forum have been very helpful as well. Now I am also interested in Oud, ambergris, musk, etc, and THAT is going to hurt my wallet TONS. :frowning:
I’ll limit my spending for sure. I am a college student after all haha :o.
