The title speaks for itself I think. I took denec’s suggestion and bought a very rare offer of a 4 oz. Creed Green Irish Tweed bottle for $103 after tax, and with free shipping included
. Nobody can beat that at a legitimate site. My question is to denec, Mr. Feel Good, Castlerock, and others that have a CGIT spray bottle. How many sprays is good for regular usage? I know it differs, but I am a 20 year old college student, and wanting to impress classmates, co-workers, and plain out any girl that is hot enough for my standards.
I am so excited. Thanks Denec and others. I am now a proud member of the Creed club, and DAMN PROUD OF IT!!! WOOT! I am going to tear up Austin with my amazing cologne. I get excited just thinking about the possibilities haha. CGIT with pheromones = golden
For me, the best way to wear my colognes are 1-2 sprays on the neck/upper chest for the base scent, 1/2-1 spray on one wrist the press (not rub, press) them together for a hot second… that’ll help extend the range of your scent… then 1/2 a spray to the back of the neck. That’ll get you some sillage.
It all depends on the strength of what you spray, but that seems to work pretty well for me, a little modified sometimes.
i use 4 sprays because i’m using it as a cover too
I received my package today!
I’m so excited and pumped. I have the 4 oz. bottle and the bottle, box, and everything else looks 100% authentic, and it smells like the real deal. Here is the question I have. Is the 4 oz. bottle able to be safely opened without damaging the bottle? The bottle is entirely black, so I can’t see through it. I want to be able to refill this bottle with the flacon size (8.4 oz I think) in the future, and see if this bottle is filled to the brim.
Thanks guys.
And the answer is…no. I wanted to see if i could buy a Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille bottle and fill it with the juice i was getting from a split on Basenotes. I asked around though and the consensus is that to fill it up on your own would break the seal, which you won’t be able to fix. Now, maybe there’s a way if you have the equipment or some way they didn’t know of, but that’s what i’ve heard. And if you break the seal, it’ll expose your juice to oxygen, which will then turn faster than it would have. Since Creed is so expensive, i refuse to take that chance.
But if you hear about a way, feel free to tell me. ![]()
Thanks a lot man. Here is why I was thinking the Creed bottle might be able to be opened. They sell the flacon (8.4 oz bottle I think is the size), and it is a refillable bottle with a simple wraping on top of it, that looks similar to a whiskey bottle. If Creed bottles weren’t able to be opened, why would they sell the 8.4 oz bottle? lol. I’ll see if I can go to Neiman Marcus today or tomorrow and ask the Creed specialist there. Also, there is no way of knowing how full the bottle is without opening it. I guess I could weigh the bottle, but I’m not sure how much an empty bottle of Creed weighs.
When you got your bottle did you have to prime it?
meaning did you have to pump it a few times before anything came out? If so that means it was brand new and nobody sprayed it before. If that is the case then rest assured it came straight from the distributor and it is filled.
You are not going to be able to open it, trust me it is 4 ounces and no way to know for sure.
As far as the flacon goes I have never used one but I am guessing what most people do is get their own atomizer and just fill it up themselves with the juice form the flacon
I haven’t sprayed the bottle yet. I do know what you mean by priming the bottle, and that is something I didn’t think about to know if it is full of not :o. Lemme spray the bottle now to check
. Thanks to you and MFG for telling me about the bottle being unable to be opened. That news is still disappointing though. I love the design of the bottle.
Edit: Awesome!!! This bottle was primed, so it’s 100% full, and a spray of CGIT is so much better than using a few swipes from the sample vials I have lol. I’m in heaven on earth right now.
The cologne is very strong so the ingredients are not contaminated, nor have they been subjected to long storage because the ingredients aren’t weak. I’m very happy to say the least. Wow! ![]()
Question What is a flacon size bottle?
Here it is.
That’s a great site to buy it from btw.

I called a high end department store today in toronto and asked for the price of GIT the 30ml bottle costs $120 CDN the cheapest. and I’m also checking out the discount perfume stores that they have in the city One store I called/went to had it but I’m being cautious before buy at those kinds of stores.
I am very satisfied with the 120 ml (4 oz) bottle that I bought, which I purchased for $103 + free shipping, because the online store has a 25% off all colognes and perfumes deal going on till the end of this month. I suggest you check it out.
Revivia, THANK YOU (and to denec for telling Revivia) for pointing out this dealer. Even without the coupon, their price for a 4 oz GIT is the best I’ve seen anywhere. I just placed an order. I was looking for a “brick and mortar” address to get an idea of how long it would take to get to me, but I couldn’t find one on the site. Do you recall what the shipping label said for the sender address?

Np man. The address is on 47th Avenue in Long Island City, NY. The shipment came in about 3 days, which was fairly fast when you consider the shipping was free. ![]()
Congrats on getting the perfume that you wanted the most bro
You have been raving about it for a long time & i’m happy that you finally got it ![]()
Thanks a lot.
I love it. It’s awesome. Now I’m going to use it for public testing. Muahaha *evil laughter and grin. ![]()
Good grief, I am going to have to go smell this stuff. Would they have it at Macy’s? That’s the most high end store in my town.
Nope, sorry girl, they wouldn’t. As far as i know, the only places that carry it in the US are Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. But if you really cared i’m sure you could order a small sample online for like 3 bucks, or talk someone into trading a sample with ya. Or sending one out for free. I’d volunteer, but i had to send mine back for being old juice. So now i gotta wait… le sigh
You are correct MFG. Those are the only 2 stores that sell Creed colognes/perfumes at an actual retail store in the United States, and both are highly expensive. Online is a much better alternative, but make sure you get it from a safe, reliable, and legit online store.
I have 10 sample vials available of Creed Green Irish Tweed
. I’m willing to give you one. Shoot me a pm and we’ll discuss the details. ![]()
