(Mystery Boy – Pheromone Party Cologne for Gay Men - Alpha A314)What would be its effects applied on a heterosexual male?
Pheromones are pheromones. I don’t see how “Mystery Boy” could really be all that different from what the rest of us are using, but then again, I don’t own it, haven’t tried it, am not gay, and don’t know what’s in it. Not sure I’d call it “gay pheromones” though… lol It’s doubtless the same pheromones, just a different balance that appeals to gay men’s tastes.
Given what I’ve learned about the limits of what pheromones can do, I’d say… hell, I have no idea what ot would do to a heter male. Probably not much other than any other mix would, if I had to guess.
That said, some of the batch has sold… someone’s got to have tried it.
Both IShine/m & Mystery Boy have TAA as the main pheromone. When I tried IS/m, the only males who responded well to me were gays, other straight males seem distant.
Does anyone have good responses with IShine/m from straight males? Please do tell.
WAGG + IS/m is a good combo to attract females for me.

IS/m works very well for me when interacting with straight males. Don’t know about gay men but with straight males I do sense a good mood lift and they like hanging around (the main molecule in Instant Shine, TAA, seems to erase people’s judgement of where the wearer’s personal space is).
As to Mystery Boy, from my understanding, I don’t think it will be a great product to use for a hetero guy to attract women. Basically MHarris and Jasmin know what they are doing alright
and they wouldn’t have made a great hetero attractant product and called it ‘Mystery Boy for Gay Men’.
I think it will work ok for a hetero male but only as a social product. Maybe someone who has tried it can tell us its effects…

TAA works great on women, lemme tell ya… at least, IShine does.
What was the dosage you used to lift moods of straight males? Thanks.

Gay men are not well served by the typical male heterosexual pheromone product. As we’ve discussed before, their temperament and their culture are completely different.
In heterosexual culture, there’s lots of male bravado at bars and nightclubs. Men are often unfriendly or insulting to other men. There’s often fighting and other shows of male aggression. There’s the “big chimp” syndrome. You could call it a high androstenone culture.
I can’t say I have homosexual culture pinned down, but it’s most certainly different.
When we first had gay men testing our products, they enjoyed the increased attraction, but complained about them bringing on unwanted aggression.
A314 actually worked well as an attractant for most of our testers, perhaps better than it does when used by heterosexuals, but even with A314, there were unwanted negatives in bars and nightclubs. They felt that it brought attributes of heterosexual nightclubs that they perceived as negative.
Apparently, there’s not much of the “big chimp” syndrome in the gay culture.
It’s all very interesting.
For these reasons, Mystery Boy is much lighter… more “fun” and less aggressive. Minimal androstenone, and more elements of products like Instant Shine and the experimental Spaceland mix are used. A good feeling, party atmosphere formula.
It’s also a department store quality, professional, attention getting cologne, much like Ammo.
That’s very important in the gay culture. Most gay men have very good, and you might say… expensive… taste. All details much be looked after, or they have no interest in a product at all. We even needed to invest more time and money in the label design, otherwise they wouldn’t even consider it.
I think we’re probably the first company that can deliver the quality on the outside of the package, as well as the inside, that they’re looking for. It’s a tough market. In a real way, a really wonderful market to work in, since it provides many challenges… and I like a challenge. Most breakthroughs happen in response to good challenge.
Would you say it would be a good “going out product”/clubbing product even for heterosexual men? Sounds to me that by adding in a bit of my own none, maybe a little a314, it’d be a good product to use.
I always have trouble pinning club mixes down. On one hand you want something that projects a highly masculine, sexy, and mysterious image, and on the other you want to project an approachable, fun, able to have a good time with the ladies kinda image. Focusing too heavily on masculine pheromones make you feel like a bit of a wallflower, while focusing too heavily fun mones makes me feel too friendly - it diminishes masculinity.
Finding a balance between the two is a tricky situation, especially given the vast number of variables in a club that can affect how a mix works. Tricky, tricky!
Perhaps (for attraction purposes, I’d supplement with the experimental MX104 version of A314, and not normal A314 itself).
Many of the same sexual triggers for male, homosexual brains are the same for female, heterosexual brains.
A1, for instance, lights up similars areas of both.
You’re right in needing to modify it, though. You need a mix addresses the male heterosexual culture and particular aspects of female, heterosexual culture.
I wouldn’t get too hung on points made in studies, because it goes beyond what pheromones light up certain parts of either sexes brain. That’s too specific. Too small a view.
You have to take in mind the the context and other differences inherent in male homosexual vs. heterosexual culture. They’re important.
That said, MX100 and MX99 are the closest mixes we have to Mystery Boy… minus the club-type cologne and nice packaging. They’re also quite light and fun, a good deal cheaper, and I’d personally try one of those first. Probably MX99, to be specific.
I’ve got MX100, though I don’t have any of the experimental A314 batches yet. I meant to get some with my last order, but felt more of an itch to try MX100; I needed more light products at the time. I hadn’t had much luck going out with MX100, most likely because I got carried away with building mixes around it. Seems like I need to scale things back.
A314+PMX100+NPA this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration!
What kind of self effects did you get from MX100?
Also, what sort of mixes did you try with it… just so we know what doesn’t work?
When I tried it as a standalone, it really made me wanna get out there and do something; might not be able to pinpoint what it is I want to do, but I was in the mood to get out there. I got an urge to drive around aimlessly for the sake of driving while wearing it one day(though I used to have a habit of doing this; its kinda theraputic). I noticed that I feel more into music when I hear it.
On the downside, if I’m in a situation where you’re somewhat inhibited, I do feel really restless. I tried a mix of A314+IH+MX100 thinking it would make me more fired up for work…I found myself staring at the clock antsy to get out. Going back to the whole music thing, one day my friend kept flipping through the radio stations in my car, and it annoyed the hell out of me.
Most of the mixes I tried with MX100 made use of a lot of alpha and betanol, with a hint of none…it was intended to be a “fun guy” type of mix, but kinda felt like quite the opposite. Possibly a social mone overkill.
Well I have been pretty much using 3 sprays of the double strength IS/m bottle in the morning (with the rest of my mix detailed somewhere else). Obviously this is quite a bit and I cut down sometimes. I do get some mood lift for males in this way.
However if you want to see Male moods and confidence soar around you (and literally they will be magnetised to your personal space day after day), try spraying TAA at 20 mcg several times during the working day. Everytime you go somewhere spray TAA - it definitely changes things around the office but I tired of it after a while.

So I take it all these other pheremones like TAA and MX100 are a part of the Gay pheremone product.
I don’t think MX100 is, but TAA is (I believe that’s what I read). It’s also an ingredient in several non-gay mixes.
lol.. since you are so “curious,” you should try it out.
thomas,
a, for a guy who “claims” to be straight, u sure as hell seem to write a lot of posts about attracting gay guys??? im not bating you big fella, just bored ![]()
b, thomas is a rather gay sounding name ![]()
Oh dont be 'thilly. ::swat::
I wouldn’t say that, but many guys dislike it when I use IS alone :o
too silly without masculinity
Hey Cool;
Your reply is just a tad late. This thread is 2 1/2 years old.![]()
