going a year without that part of the relationship yes to me is like wait, what? But im glad you have dedication and that shows a lot, you just dont want the relationship to steer to a point where you just feel like roommates or something because that ‘fire’ is important for a lasting relationship. But, you may also have to accept the fact that this may be the way he is since in the beginning it was sorta the same but more frequent. He may have been trying to please you more in the beginning and thats why things were like that before.
You should communicate about that and figure out if he is just this way, or if theres something that other going on there.
